2020 created a challenging time in event planning especially when you do not live in St. Pete. The East Gardens was originally booked for 125 seated rehearsal dinner. Rachel was great to work with as we began our plans. After the shutdown, our number changed to 56 and our guests were safely welcomed into the museum. Excellent communication was key with Rachel and all of our vendors. Most of all, outdoors, under the lights, with family and friends - the Dali was magical.

This is truly the most picture perfect venue for a wedding. We chose the museum as a destination wedding, as we are from Ohio. My husband is an artist, and Dali is one of his favorites-- so this was just perfect. Working with Diana to book the venue was so easy. Then, working with Rachel to plan the event couldn't have gone smoother. Rachel went above and beyond the traditional services the Dali offers and made sure the reception was set up exactly to our plans. She even assisted in coordinating the walk down the isle.

If you are looking for an elegant and unique venue that allows your guests the opportunity to view amazing artwork, you should look into The Dali. All of my guests have told me this was the most beautiful wedding they have ever attended. Plus, Rachel is the best!

Working with Rachel was such a pleasure. She was able to handle all of the small miscommunications between vendors for me, as well as walk me through the entire day without feeling stressed! The Dali is a fabulous venue, having the gallery open to guests is an extra benefit!

This was a dream location for my wedding reception. The garden area was perfect for a location that is unique, overlooking the water, and intimate. I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful place to have my reception and the guests loved being able to walk through the galleries during the night. Also, the staff was wonderful to work with.

The Venue is just gorgeous! Truly picture perfect. Take note of the (2) hour set up time allowed. Also, inquire and triple check about the number of tables, linens chairs etc. as they have a limited supply/no storage and we ended up having to rent additional tables last minute for our caterer - even though we had inquired months prior. Also expect to pay for ample lighting if your reception is outside as it is very dark at night and ensure your photographer is fully aware of this. I would suggest having someone (family member or wedding planner or your DJ) announce to your guests about the museum gallery being open to them. We had signage and it was on our wedding website, but only 5 out of 100 of our guests even knew it was available. At first, we started off working with Diana, the Sales Manager. She was very nice and speedy in her responses! We did not have much correspondence after we signed the contract her, as expected. We then worked with Rachel, the Event Manager. She was very helpful in the weeks leading up to our wedding reception, although we feel the response time on e-mail correspondence and attention to detail we provided could have been a bit better. Rachel helped us out so much with our catering needs and set up needs. We could tell she worked very hard that day ensuring our set up/tear down was taken care of. She is a wonderful asset to the Dali and a sweet person. Overall I highly recommend the Dali as a venue!

A bride should not feel nauseas when thinking of her wedding.
To say I am dissatisfied is an understatement.
I sent countless emails. I to fight for seating for my ceremony. We exchanged multiple emails about floor plans, bars etc. The weather didn’t look promising the Monday before my Saturday wedding, I emailed Rachel Monday, she didn’t reply until Tuesday night, then suggested a tent, did not mention the tent needed a permit, by the time we went through our back up rain plan in person on Thursday it was too late.
The day of the wedding I arrive and 10 minutes before I am supposed to go into hiding Rachel tells me there can only be one bar. The entire event was centered around two bars.
For the price point and hoops you have to jump through for this vendor you expect the best. I received less than. I am still in shock by how terrible my wedding experience was.
Disappointed is an understatement.
