We dreamed up what we thought was an impossible cake and Lisa executed it to a tee! 100% real cake. We were blown away!

Lisa made our wedding cake for at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. We found her as she was on the recommended vendor list for the Yacht Club. We chose carrot and chocolate fudge and both were so delicious and flavorful with great texture. We had two different types of filling (chocolate fudge, cream cheese for the carrot) then buttercream on the outsides. She finished the cake exactly how I had shown her in an inspiration photo I brought. I was looking for something simple and elegant. The tasting was stress free and fun, and Lisa was so gracious with us during the entire process.

The shop is so fun to visit. We can't wait to go back to get some more cake! We did end up eating most our wedding cake topper (which she delivered a box for us to use) on the wedding night, but we did save some of it in the freezer - it wont last long.

Many guests commented on how delicious this cake was. Lisa was accommodating, thoughtful and fair in her prices.

Lisa at Chocolate Bar Café is wonderful to work with and bakes the most delicious wedding cakes. We did tastings at several local areas, and her cakes not only tasted the best but were the most economical and look amazing. The finished cake was beautiful and exactly what I had been hoping for, and was moist and delicious. Nothing but the highest praise for Chocolate Bar Café!

Lisa was so great to work with. I didn't have a very clear idea of what I wanted, and she asked me great questions to get to what I was interested in. She had ideas from pictures of other cakes, as well as different designs and gum paste flowers. The cake was beautiful, and delicious. I am so happy with the results and would recommend Lisa and the Chocolate Bar Cafe to anyone!

Lisa Corbin and the Chocolate Bar Cafe provide some of the most creative cake designs with great attention to detail. The best part is that the taste is out of this world. They have all flavors and can make it as elaborate of simplistic as you like. Very professional and on time delivery and set up. Lisa knows the importance that the wedding cake sets and she can make your vision come to life. Absolutely the best!!

My mouth waters just thinking about the cake. We received compliments about the cake all night long. It was delicious! There was no delivery charge which was so nice. The Chocolate Bar Cafe is formerly Alinosi's Ice Cream which was an old time favorite's of my Dad's. Everytime my husband and I are in the area we stop for cupcakes. Delicious!!

Chocolate Bar Café did a fantastic job at making our wedding cake! It was so beautiful and tasted wonderful! They also did a great job on making my husband's groom cake! It was very artistic and well done. We would highly recommend them to anybody.

They did our wedding cake. It was very tasty (we did half carrot cake and half chocolate), beautiful (though the florist put the wrong flowers on the cake) and inexpensive compared to some of the other places we looked, and they delivered to the Detroit Yacht Club for free. I would definitely recommend them.

Chocolate Bar Cafe is our local ice cream shop and they also happen to make fantastic cakes at a really reasonable price. I went around to a few other bakeries and no one compared to Chocolate Bar and Lisa's. Even the places that want to charge you $4/slice! Her cakes are so moist and the frosting is so creamy. Most slices are $1.95 each, so our cake for 180 people was $450. Which was so reasonable. Our flavors were chocolate with fudge filling, banana nut with buttercream and red velvet with cream cheese. I gave her the inspiration pic and when I saw her version in real life, I couldn't have been happier. My only regret is that I felt that I didn't have enough time to eat it! I wanted one slice of each flavor!!!
