I can't say enough good things about this reception site! They were wonderful to work with and the site was BEAUTIFUL! All of my guests raved about the food!! The location couldn't have been better: only 10 minutes from my church and very close to several hotels downtown. The staff was so wonderful... they even set up a memorial table at my reception for my father. That alone was worth every penny paid! I would definitely recommend Central Exchange to all brides in Kansas City!

I cannot say enough great things about Bruce and his team at Central Exchange. They really went above and beyond! I had many guests tell me how great he, John, and the whole crew were.

Everyone was so helpful when we were getting ready for the festivities, and of course throughout the evening, until the very end. I even heard from guests that pie and cake was boxed up for them to take home, which they loved. It is that kind of detail that really stood out, because you just do not get that kind of service from any other place (at least not at any wedding receptions I have been to - and I have been to a lot of receptions). The cake, coffee, and buffet tables were decorated to perfection, the flowers were breathtaking, and the food was outstanding! We had so many compliments on the venue, flowers, and food. Guests especially loved the patio area - it was gorgeous at night.

A very beautiful venue located in the downtown Kansas City, Mo area. The venue offers many different packages for food and the use of the room. I chose to use the entire space (which can be made smaller/larger with room dividers) including the outside patio, which is gorgeous! The menu for the appetizers is phenomenal! They provide a dance floor if desired, the patio, which is fully private with brick walls, has a bar outside with heaters in case of cold. The staff decorates with fresh flowers, and you can decide whether you want them to do your centerpieces or if you want to do them yourself. The staff is very helpful and flexible. I would give this place an A+++ if you are needing a venue for the Kansas City area. One more thing, the room is gorgeous!
