We recently just got married and used the Catering Company for their food and bar package ! Nick, was absolutely wonderful from the beginning with his flexibility in our short notice wedding timeline. The entire company was absolutely amazing from the beginning up until the day of the wedding. From the consultation of selecting the perfect menu and table decor to the fantastic service, we couldn’t have been happier! We would 10/10 recommend this catering service to anyone looking for fantastic food and perfect service from set up to clean up on their big day!

The Catering Company is a top-notch catering service for any event in Winchester/surrounding areas. We have used them for corporate events and for two family weddings. The most recent event was our daughter’s wedding. Nick took his time with us and developed a menu based on some family recipes as well as some special seasonal dishes we had in mind. He was always friendly and relaxed (even with some last minute changes!!) while working hard to keep all the details running like clockwork behind the scenes. His staff was simply amazing. We had a “worst case” scenario during our outdoor reception with heavy rain, thunder and some lightning. They stayed calm and helped us to keep our event running safely (even as we took a needed pause and resumed our party when the weather cleared!) The staff continued to confidently work, calmly shifting our buffet to a weather protected area.
They took care of all the cleanup and tear down (what a relief!!). Side note: I was also impressed with Nick’s care of his staff during the bad weather. Somehow he managed to provide excellent service to us and also take care of his staff when the weather took a turn for the worst.
The food was incredible, just as we had hoped! Nick had even carefully trimmed our brisket so it was perfectly juicy, but not overly fatty. The beer can chicken was yummy!! So many guests commented on the crab dip and Mac
and cheese. I loved his crunchy Cole
Slaw and the nectarine salad with goat cheese drizzle was delicious. We loved having the addition of our family recipe, corn casserole (the bride’s favorite!) and sides of roasted potatoes too.
Nick and his team also handled all of our linen rentals.
They were prompt with returning emails and occasional texts.
Truly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and feel they were worth every
penny and more! Even with our bad weather interruption (the worst our photographer had experienced too!), it was an incredible wedding day! The bride and groom were spared stress from the weather and the party carried on, happier than ever! Many thanks to The Catering Company. They are simply the best, our go-to for every event.

We worked with Nick of The Catering Company for our wedding and were beyond happy with the service we were provided! The wait staff and bartenders were great – we received several comments from our guests about how polite and fun they were. The food..was..amazing! The groom and majority of our guests are incredible cooks, are very picky about food, and cook for large groups of people regularly, and EVERYONE was raving about how great the food was. Nick, owner and head chef, of The Catering Company grilled our entrees (chicken and burgers) onsite. The whole venue smelled amazing, and people were commenting about that before we even got to enjoy the food! We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much, Nick and crew!

I was an out of state bride who was looking for excellent food and I stumbled across this company. Angie was who I was in direct communication with and who showed up at my walk through and she was a DELIGHT. She helped me every step of the way and helped me navigate my way through planning a menu for my guests. We never ever tasted the food before the wedding we just went based on the reviews on this website. All I wanted was delicious food - not the typical wedding food that I'm so accustomed to - and Santmier Catering did just that. We went with the BBQ option and my guests are still talking about it a few days after the wedding. If you're looking for DELICIOUS food - this is the company to hire.

My husband and I are very picky about food. He regularly smokes BBQ at home, and our biggest requirement for our wedding caterer was that the food had to be better than something we would make ourselves. It took a few tries to find that, but we were thrilled after our tasting with Santmier Catering. Compared to other caterers, Nick was more personable, better priced, and made the best food by far. We were impressed with his range of options and the fact that he made his desserts in house.

His team was very easy to work with despite (many) menu changes and we got a ton of compliments on the food. We had a great experience and I highly recommend Nick to anyone looking to cater an event.

Using Santmier Catering will guarantee none of your guests will leave hungry. All of the food created by this vendor was absolutely delicious. When we did our tasting, I was impressed with all of the food offerings and it took us awhile to finalize our menu because there were so many tasty options. Not only did they provide the food they also offer the option of bartenders, a baker, and table linens. We utilized all of these options and it made planning easier since we didn’t have to worry about searching and meeting with additional vendors. The cake and cupcakes were delectable. I almost forgot the funnel cake station, this was enjoyed by several of our guests. We received many compliments on the food and drinks provided at our wedding. The staff was also very personable and easy to work with.

We had a phenomenal experience with Santmier Catering! From day one, they were very open about their services and very willing to work with us, our vision and our budget. Both Angie and Nick's responsiveness was unparalleled leading up to the big day, and several of our guests commented on how "well organized" their staff operated. They are truly a well-oiled machine! Due to venue accessibility constraints, I had budgeted an hour for breakdown and clean up--Nick's staff were done cleaning and had mopped up the floors within 15 min of our sendoff/guests leaving. Would highly recommend to any bride/couple looking for a more price conscious catering option without compromising quality. Food was delicious! We are thrilled to have had them facilitate such a key part of our wedding day!

We were so grateful for this caterer! We had another company fall through and the team at Santmier, aka "The Catering Company," was super helpful and responsive through the whole process. We were impressed with the level of professionalism of the service and the quality of the food. We chose buffet style and had 2 servers and 2 chefs present. The owner was available to be one of our chefs that day and he was very thoughtful bringing us some of the appetizers and drinks in between the ceremony and the reception. They took care of everything so we didn't have to worry about a thing except having a great time on the best day of our life! I highly recommend this caterer and would hire this company again for sure! No regrets and it was within our price range. Thank you!

Food at events is so often lackluster, and I was determined that our wedding wouldn't fall into that trap. Nick was responsive and flexible throughout, and customized the dishes we picked to our tastes. The food was SO GOOD, and the service was excellent. All of our guests were thrilled (my restaurateur uncle declared the prime rib the best he'd had) and the catering staff made sure my new husband and I not only got to eat but were kept refilled on anything we wanted more of! They took such good care of us all from our pre-ceremony hot chocolate and cider station all the way through last call, and were genuinely friendly and helpful the whole time. We were also able to rent all the necessary linen/china/etc from them, which made planning that much easier. Our wedding was beautiful (and delicious!) and I can't thank Nick and his team enough for the huge role they played in making it such a success. I would recommend them to anyone.

Nick and the entire Santmier Catering team were OUTSTANDING! They made planning our rehearsal dinner a breeze from start to finish. Nick was flexible with us, as we were wanted to provide our guests an intimate, unique experience and he helped us to curate our menu accordingly.
