The Belle of Hot Springs is a historic inn and wedding venue located right on the Appalachian Trail in Hot Springs, North Carolina that serves couples all over Charlotte and Asheville. This unique bed and breakfast was originally built in 1924, and served as housing for the Dorland-Bell School For Girls, now known as Warren Wilson College. They pride themselves on their laid-back style and bohemian atmosphere which is perfect for intimate weddings, elopements and the DIY bride. The Belle of Hot Springs is situated downtown, and within walking distance to everything Hot Springs has to offer, allowing your guests to fully enjoy your wedding weekend.
Facilities and Capacity
This unique inn can accommodate up to 60 guests for a small wedding. You can say your “I do’s” on-site at the inn, which is furnished in rich, French country decor. If you're having an intimate elopement, you can exchange your vows in front of their beautiful fireplace. The cozy space can hold up to 10 guests. The outside of the building makes for beautiful photo opportunities. If you're having a larger celebration, The Belle of Hot Springs offers their beautiful lawn. This lush lawn can easily be tented for dinner and dancing.
This historic bed and breakfast is a family-run business. Ann Harold is the proprietress, and her daughter, Rachel is their event planner. Rachel will work with you one-on-one to ensure your wedding is everything you dreamed it to be. They offer multiple elopement packages that can be customized as you see fit. If you would like to extend your stay and treat it as a honeymoon, Rachel can put together a package that includes a soak at the spa, a couples massage and more. The Belle of Hot Springs has four upstairs bedrooms, three of which are available for overnight stays. The innkeeper lives in the four bedroom. Two of the bedrooms are very large, and have plenty of comfortable seating. All of the rooms boast a ceiling fan, air conditioning and multiple windows allowing in an abundance of natural light. Your guests will enjoy gorgeous views of the mountains and downtown, as well as a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning.
