The Venue at Hart Square Village is available for a wide range of events, including weddings, proms, Quinceaneras, Christmas parties, family reunions, fundraisers, and business meetings. Offering the convenience of a modern facility in a historic setting, The Venue includes a great hall that seats up to 200 guests with a full catering kitchen. A 20-person boardroom and two classrooms are available for smaller functions, while the arbor in the historic village is excellent for close-knit informal events.
The Venue includes beautiful outdoor spaces with panoramic scenes of the historic village. The outdoor stage is located beside the modern venue facility, making it the optimal space for an outdoor wedding ceremony and indoor reception. For small weddings or elopements, The Chapel of Peace, ca. 1871, and St. Mark’s Chapel, ca.1844, deliver waterfront views of the village.
Best of all, when you choose to rent The Venue at Hart Square Village, you are helping to preserve the largest collection of log cabins in the nation.

Amazing Venue
We had our wedding reception here in October 2025! The venue was beautiful and guests loved it. The venue provided all linens, glassware, dishes and silverware. The staff were very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. I highly recommend booking Hart Square for your special events.

Magical Fall Wedding
My husband and I had the most magical fall wedding here in October! We had the ceremony and reception in the new education center and allowed guests to visit in the village during the cocktail hour. It was even more beautiful than we could have ever imagined and exceeded our expectations! Our guests had such a great time. They have not stopped talking about it, (and neither have we). Family and friends are already planning to come back for Hart Square's Christmas event. It is so special that this place is so much more than a wedding venue. They have an inspiring mission to preserve history and connect it to the present. The property is breath-taking and so serene. Rebecca is extremely accommodating and easy to work with. She goes above and beyond to ensure your dreams come true. Words do not do this place justice. You have to experience it for yourself. Do not hesitate to schedule a tour here or go to an event. You will fall in love!

Rustic, antique, & now modern as well!
I absolutely LOVE Hart Square! It is such a special place for my family! My husband and I have had our engagement pictures taken in the village, our wedding photos, and most recently had our baby showers there as well. The village is an admirable place with loads of history with each cabin. The ponds are beautiful and the chapels near the pond make for a beautiful venue and backdrop in pictures. The most recent modern day build of the education center is where we had one of our baby showers and it is what dreams are made of! I’d renew my vows again to have my wedding in the new venue! If you’re into history, nature, rustic, & serenity- this is your place! Between the village and the new venue, your wants will be met! Rebecca is so easy to work with and went above & beyond expectations to help accommodate and offer her expert advice!

Beautiful, Historical Venue
Hart Square is a beautiful, historical venue. We loved having our wedding surrounded by history, nature, friends, and family.
The staff were flexible, friendly, and welcoming. They were efficient and professional.
We were given multiple locations onsite to choose from to have our ceremony, both indoors and outdoors. We loved that we had a rain check indoor option for our outdoor wedding!
The venue has options for a lot of onsite supplies (including dinnerware, tables, chairs, etc.). It was wonderful to have a venue that had so much right there and where we didn't need to get extra vendors.
We were not limited with our vendors either. They provided us with a list of recommendations, but we could bring in whichever vendors we wanted!
We would 10/10 recommend!
