We could not be happier with how our wedding turned out at The Abbey. From touring the property with Lori, to working on decorations with Michelle, to planning the day-of details with Jacqui, the entire experience was seamless. The Abbey staff brought our magical Christmas wedding vision to life, and we are so grateful.
We also chose to rent the house on the property for the weekend, which made our time with friends and family even more special. The décor package was an absolute game-changer—our decorations, florals, and every little detail were completely taken care of, making the entire process effortless.

Our experience at The Abbey Salisbury was wonderful from start to finish. The tour of the venue with Kristina was very thorough, they were responsive to any questions during the planning process, and the staff (especially Jacqui) were amazing on the wedding day to help with setup and making sure everything ran smoothly! I would 10/10 recommend this venue!!

Everything about our experience at The Abbey was amazing! Michelle and Jacqui, and the rest of the team made sure that every single detail was taken care of and went above and beyond to ensure that the day ran smoothly. The decor was absolutely stunning and Jacqui made sure we were on schedule the entire day. Our family, friends, and even guests were all highly impressed as well. We had the weekend package and stayed on the property for the weekend, and the annex was incredibly clean and spacious, stocked with toiletries, coffee, and other necessities! Even the beds were comfy, and felt (I kid you not) like sleeping on a cloud!

They made everything so simple! From the decor to the day of coordinator, the experience was wonderful! Will forever recommend to anyone looking for a venue in Salisbury, NC.

Choosing this venue was the BEST decision we made! Leading up to the big day all communication was prompt and on point. They are completely transparent with their pricing and don’t try to nickel and dime you with hidden costs, like some venues. Lori was our “day of” coordinator and she was nothing short of amazing! In fact, all of the staff were wonderful! They took care of everything. One week before the wedding, Lori reached out to all of our vendors to make sure they knew when and where to arrive etc. They provided and setup all the decor. We had a few additions to the decor that they happily took care of setting up as well as packing up for us at the end of the night. Lori regularly checked in with me throughout the day and took care of all my last-minute needs and requests. The staff all had earpieces so they could be in constant communication with one another. The entire day was perfect! This place is so amazing that even our videographer mentioned that he was impressed by the staff’s efficiency and professionalism. Trust me, this place is beautiful, and you can’t beat the price/value for your money. One more thing, we had the premium coffee bar add-on which was a huge hit. It was the best latte I’ve ever had!

My husband and I got married at The Abbey on Friday, 9/22/23. My coordinator, Jacqui and the owner, Lori were such a pleasure to work with. I live an hour away and they were so accommodating with my crazy schedule. They made everything so easy from start to finish. The day went off without a hitch thanks to every single staff member. The space was beautiful and I so appreciate the effort that went into making my detailed vision come alive. We had a small, intimate wedding of about 50 so the smaller reception space was perfect for us. The design of the space from the wood accent walls to the beautiful concrete floors and hanging lights was exactly what we were looking for. The landscaping outside was the perfect backdrop to our pictures. We had a great experience, I wouldn't change a thing.

We also stayed that night at the on-site Airbnb which was an absolute dream and was perfect for accommodating our out of town guests. It was so clean and beautifully decorated. Choosing this venue was one of our best decisions!

My husband and I were married at The Abbey earlier this month, and we had an amazing experience! The venue is gorgeous, and the included amenities are amazing. Everything from the bridal suite to the reception area was absolutely stunning. The staff was amazing - very attentive! The venue coordinator changed about halfway through our process, but Jacqui, the new coordinator, didn’t miss a beat. Truly, she is the reason that our day went so well! Overall, prepare for a wonderful experience if you choose The Abbey. This is a decision you will not regret!

If you're looking for the perfect place with a sanctuary, reception, and getting ready area to host your wedding, then look no further than The Abbey Salisbury! From the moment we walked in to do our tour, I knew this was the place to say our "I Dos". The venue is just gorgeous and boasts of a great history. This place also has the most amazing staff that will help you from the planning process all the way to closing the night. We loved how they were able to make our vision come to life and our wedding went without a hitch (at least that we know of cause they're that good!). We are truly grateful and blessed to have found this gem and be a part of their blissfully wedded couple!

My husband and I got married at The Abbey in February 2023. We chose The Abbey because of it’s beauty and close location to hotels and access to Ubers for our guests. It was important to us for our guests to not have to drink and drive.

We met with Alison who is absolutely wonderful! She gave us a tour of the entire venue. We booked and started planning. Alison was on her A Game the entire time. She had recommendations for caterers, DJ services, and so on. She also had a spreadsheet/timeline to help us all stay organized. She touched base with us frequently and also responded quickly when we had any questions.

About a month before the wedding, we met with Alison and Lori(the owner of the venue) to discuss, plan and design our wedding day decor and layout. We were not very caught up in the details so it was so helpful to have them both there, helping us design how we wanted our wedding to look.

Our wedding ran so smoothly. There were no issues. Alison and her team made it all perfect! They coordinated everything for us from the arrival, getting ready, first look photos, to preparing our things at the end of the night. They had everything lined up on a table for us that needed to go to a car. We were out of there so easily and quickly at the end of the night.

My husband and I stayed onsite at the Airbnb that night. It is a beautiful place. Everything was so clean and spacious. Alison and her team had our personal belongings there waiting for us.

Also, I want to add that mine and my daughters feet were killing us so Alison sent someone to the bridal suite to get my slippers and their crocs so we could dance comfortably the rest of the night. Alison also held onto my personal belongings and cell phone and provided it to me and recorded some special moments for me at my request. She also got us some food and drinks from cocktail hour while we were taking photos. Oh and she provided some trays/platters for us that we needed. And she provided a wheelchair for my 94 year old grandmother to use. She is amazing!

If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a single thing! This was both of our’s second weddings/marriages so to have someone spend so much time and pay attention to detail and make it go so effortlessly was worth every single penny. This venue and staff deserves more than 5 stars!

The Abbey sealed the deal on making all my dreams come true. My husband and I really wanted a chapel wedding that felt traditional and the abbey provided that atmosphere. But by far the staff was the best. Each of them made our big day as perfect as can be. Allison was a saving grace. She is so detail oriented that the day ran a smooth as possible. I loved how flexible her and the staff were, knowing that nothing is ever perfect, we were all able to adjust and keep rolling without skipping a beat. The decorations for the big day were perfect. The staff were so swift about setting up and tear down. It all felt so stress free. I would choose The abbey a hundreds times over if I was promised the same staff. Neither of us were from Salisbury but the travels were completely worth it for a dream wedding that felt traditional and intimate. I am still in awe with how dreamy our day was.
