During the wedding, she helped make the day so unforgettable. I’m a little camera shy and awkward when I’m put on the spot, but she somehow knows how to simultaneously make you feel comfortable and excited to be the center of attention! During our planning period, my husband and I had told her we didn’t want to feel too posed and were looking forward to more “candid” shots. While she definitely delivered with the candids, I’m so happy that she still took time to shoot portraits with us. Not to be vain, but I still cannot stop admiring our pictures! :’) In the months following our big day, David’s Bridal and the Wedding Wire highlighted Thalia’s work at our wedding and it’s like I get to re-live our day all over again. We did our engagement photos with her about a year before the wedding and it was a great decision to build comfort together before the actual wedding day. We would highly recommend Thalia! We booked Thalia for our wedding after looking through her website and Instagram because we really liked her style and we're so glad we did. Neither of us are particularly comfortable in front of the camera, so we were a little bit nervous, but our engagement shoot put us at ease. Thalia made us feel comfortable and natural and we actually really enjoyed ourselves. Once we saw the photos from that day, we were confident the wedding shots would be amazing too!
Thalia has a really subtle presence. She gives gentle direction and then just lets you interact. On the day of our wedding we really appreciated feeling like we were able to just enjoy our day. The camera didn't feel intrusive at all, and yet Thalia was always there capturing those moments. We also love seeing the moments Thalia caught between our guests. We've had so much fun going through our wedding gallery together and with our families, reliving the day. There are so many great shots, the hardest part has been trying to narrow down the photos we want to frame and put in an album!

Working with Thalia as our wedding photographer was honestly the best decision we made. I happened to meet her at a Long Island wedding expo I went to last minute by myself! It was nice to actually meet in person because Thalia has such a warm and calming presence about her. Thalia went ABOVE AND BEYOND what I could’ve envisioned for my wedding photos. She made the whole process very pain/hassle free. She thoroughly focused on important details months in advance to prepare for the full night of events. She sent me a questionnaire asking me questions that would ensure her capturing the content I wanted. Most of these questions were ones I would’ve never thought to communicate with her and I’m very thankful for that. She was very intentional to get to know who I am and what was most important to me on our wedding day. Thalia knows what she’s doing! Because of her, the wedding photography was the least stressful aspect of planning a wedding. She had a timeline and stuck to it. I am not used to being photographed in a professional setting so Thalia was a wonderful coach and helped me to feel 100% comfortable. This sounds weird but throughout the day (certainly the ceremony), I wasn’t aware of her but the photos were PHENOMENAL. She truly captured the essence of my spouse and I. She captured the emotions of the day including us, the bridal party and our guests. She knew who the most important people in my life were and made sure to capture them as well. That is an extremely special gift that I will have forever. As for receiving the photos, it was SUPER easy to download, the quality of the photos was mind blowing! She also made sure the vendors had their own digital albums so I wasn’t stressed about distributing any of them. I can’t say enough good things about Thalia!
