Working with Thalia as our wedding photographer was honestly the best decision we made. I happened to meet her at a Long Island wedding expo I went to last minute by myself! It was nice to actually meet in person because Thalia has such a warm and calming presence about her. I was very mindful as to who I wanted to photograph one of the most important days of our lives and Thalia truly exceeded our expectations. We are a pretty reserved couple, my husband is even more-so a shy guy, so the anticipation of photographs was already going to be a little awkward/uncomfortable. However, Thalia really put us at ease and was very natural in her approach with cueing us here and there during the engagement session and wedding day. I also appreciated Thalia’s impeccable organization and communication throughout the planning process. She also gave great suggestions when I was stuck trying to narrow down my vision. We felt like superstars and the photos were absolutely perfect. I’ve never been so beautifully captured in photos in my life and I really am indebted to Thalia's talent. We’ve received many compliments and we most definitely plan to work with her for future events!Thalia Photography's reply:

Thalia was undoubtedly the best decision we made for our wedding. She exceeded every single expectation we had and delivered the most beautiful pictures! Thalia brought a calming aspect to the big day, which felt amazing when everything else around you is a whirlwind! She put my husband and I at ease and allowed us to truly enjoy the moment and celebrate our love together, which clearly shows in all the pictures! She also captured details that I didn’t even know I wanted! (Like the photo of my wedding dress next to a framed picture of my parents on their wedding day). She truly has an eye for catching sentimental moments that you might miss on the big day, and the joy of looking back on them is amazing! The entire process of booking her was a breeze as well, she asked all the right questions and listened to our requests (which some were a little wild), took everything into consideration, and captured absolutely everything we wanted. I feel so grateful that the biggest day of our lives was captured by such a caring and compassionate artist. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I've been struggling to find the words to give proper justice to the photography that Thalia captures but I'm going to try my best. We first met Thalia a few months ago when we were looking for a wedding photographer. We met with a few others but we loved Thalia's work and felt like she was the perfect fit for us. Thalia is professional, timely, and so unbelievably organized; she has created and shared such helpful spreadsheets, wedding planning tools, and guides that have made our lives so much easier. I knew before even meeting her that we had made the right choice.
We recently had our engagement shoot with Thalia in October and we were both so nervous at first, but Thalia did a great job making everything feel natural. Throughout the whole time we were in front of her camera, she gave us prompts that were silly, fun, and organic. While taking pictures, it didn't feel posed, it felt like we were just spending time together, laughing, and having a good time.
When we got our photos back 3 weeks later, I was literally brought to tears by how beautiful they came out. I still stare at them in awe and we've had them for 2 weeks now. I'm including some of them below because her work deserves to be admired. We are so excited to have Thalia photograph our wedding!
If you're in need of a photographer and want someone who's organized, reasonably priced, fun to be around, and will capture some of the most beautiful photos you've ever seen of yourself, get in touch with Thalia. You won't be disappointed! -

Thalia went ABOVE AND BEYOND what I could’ve envisioned for my wedding photos. She made the whole process very pain/hassle free. She thoroughly focused on important details months in advance to prepare for the full night of events. She sent me a questionnaire asking me questions that would ensure her capturing the content I wanted. Most of these questions were ones I would’ve never thought to communicate with her and I’m very thankful for that. She was very intentional to get to know who I am and what was most important to me on our wedding day. Thalia knows what she’s doing! Because of her, the wedding photography was the least stressful aspect of planning a wedding. She had a timeline and stuck to it. I am not used to being photographed in a professional setting so Thalia was a wonderful coach and helped me to feel 100% comfortable. This sounds weird but throughout the day (certainly the ceremony), I wasn’t aware of her but the photos were PHENOMENAL. She truly captured the essence of my spouse and I. She captured the emotions of the day including us, the bridal party and our guests. She knew who the most important people in my life were and made sure to capture them as well. That is an extremely special gift that I will have forever. As for receiving the photos, it was SUPER easy to download, the quality of the photos was mind blowing! She also made sure the vendors had their own digital albums so I wasn’t stressed about distributing any of them. I can’t say enough good things about Thalia! If you have any hesitation, just know that Thalia is seriously passionate about your vision and passionate about photography. She will soothe out those worries and provide you with content that you will forever hold dear to your heart! I plan to use my photos in an album and canvases.Thalia Photography's reply:

If you’re looking for someone who makes you truly feel comfortable in your own skin, captures the most unexpectedly intimate and meaningful photos, who is a true artist at heart, and just simply a beautiful person, look no further! We had the pleasure of meeting Thalia at the Bridal Expo in 2019 and fell in love with her authenticity and style of work, not to mention we also had the amazing surprise of winning a free engagement photo shoot too. My husband and I are definitely more on the shy side and never planned on having an engagement shoot, but are unbelievably thankful we did and Thalia was there to make us feel comfortable, have fun, and just be ourselves. Obviously we had to book her for our wedding and have absolutely zero regrets! She made the entire process feel effortless, really took the time to get to know us as a couple, and made our special day unforgettable with the amount of heart and soul she poured into our photos. Authentic, genuine, natural, beautiful, warm, and heartfelt are only some of the many words I could use to describe such a wonderful photographer who also became our friend :)Thalia Photography's reply:

You can't go wrong this Thalia Photography!
Thalia was absolutely incredible. From the moment we met her, we knew she was going to be the best photographer for our wedding. She put up (and even had fun with) our crazy wedding crew and made us feel so comfortable. She is so organized and had such a structured timeline of the day - and when things didn't work out, she was ready with another solution! When we got our photos back, we were in AWE. Every single photo is perfect and better than we could have ever imagined. If you are looking for a young, fun, creative photographer - choose Thalia!! Hiring Thalia to be your photographer will be the best and easiest decision you make for your wedding. Thalia took our engagement photos and will be shooting our wedding as well. Thalia is the perfect combination of an amazing artist and people person. She has an incredible eye for light, color and motion and was also so patient with me prior to the shoot while I constantly texted her for advice on what to wear. Always listen to the artist! She knows what she is doing!
The engagement shoot was pure magic. Thalia made us feel so at ease the entire time that we felt like we were just hanging out while she took our picture. The way she made us feel so natural is really reflected in the photos. I cannot wait for Thalia to shoot our wedding next year!Thalia Photography's reply:

Amazing to work with!
Thalia was a fabulous photographer to work with! She is responsive, understanding, and PATIENT. She learned all of our family members names so she was able to call on people specifically. She is able to seamlessly capture the aesthetic we were going for and knew just what to look for as she conducts several before the event interviews. Our Favorite Vendor of All Time
Wedding planning was my worst nightmare, and having to do it twice due to COVID was terrifying. When I met Thalia at a bridal expo, I knew immediately that she would be the perfect fit for me and my husband. Besides the fact that her work was exactly the vibe we were looking for, her positive demeaner and expertise was exactly what we needed every step of the way!
We had the pleasure of working with Thalia twice, as we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. She has wedding planning down to a Science, and was always one step ahead of us. She was beyond easy to communicate with and was always willing to go the extra mile. She would be sure that her check-ins were personalized and relevant to my husband and I. On top of her scheduled check-ins she would also find time for our typical "follow ups." Throughout the whole planning process, Thalia was more than just a photographer. She helped guide my outfit choices, our timeline and even last minute reminders for each month leading up to our big day! Needless to say, Thalia was my voice of reason through our entire planning process.
Pictures are really important to me, as I am one of the few people that still print out photos for albums. Thalia, understood my passion and took on the challenge to help my vision come to life.
After our first meeting with Thalia, she had mailed a box to our house, including a wedding workbook, a wedding handkerchief and little gifts to remind us just how exciting this time is. Her handwritten note and expertise reminded us why we are planning a wedding in the first place. From that day on, we knew we made the right choice.
When COVID caused us to postpone, Thalia was beyond accommodating and was still able to capture the most important moments for us. Again and again, time after time, she made us feel like more than just a client. When our big day finally arrived, despite many hiccups, Thalia stood true to be our favorite vendor. We have boxes of photos that we already developed, and are organizing them into albums to share with our families. We swoon over her photos that help us cherish our big day, but even more so I will cherish the relationship we've formed with her and can't wait to book her again! -

Thalia captured my wedding day and let me say: best decision I made was hiring her. She helped us with our timeline, kept everything on track with time, and made me feel SO COMFORTABLE! As a photographer myself, I can be extremely picky and also somewhat shy on camera and I knew Thalia had the attention to detail that I needed. Obsessed forever!
My husband and I originally inquired with Thalia for a family photo shoot with our daughter. After seeing Thalia’s beautiful wedding pictures, we decided we wanted to be one of those couples. Thalia’s galleries inspired us to elope! She accommodated us in a short period of time. From beginning to end, Thalia was very helpful and informative. She made sure to answer and address all my questions and concerns. During our ceremony, honest to God, I didn’t even notice her taking pictures of us. She wasn’t all up in our face or personal space. She was effortlessly invisible and not being distracting at all. During the bride/groom only shots, she made us both feel relaxed and comfortable while also making us feel like superstars. I am a very camera shy person, and as a new mom, I’m always behind the camera instead of the front. The final product is breath taking and I don’t even know where to start with printing all the photos. I want to print them all and hang them all to be admired for years to come. Thalia captured priceless moments on one of the biggest days of our lives and we couldn’t be more thankful! As soon as you meet Thalia, you feel her warm presence, which involves more than physically taking up space, but by listening and speaking carefully and thoughtfully. Upon working with her, she quickly established credibility and trust by being authentic and sharing her expertise. At no point during our time with Thalia did we ever feel uncomfortable. During our first meeting, she was very thorough in getting to know what WE wanted and figured out how she could deliver the easiest and most enjoyable experience. She brought up things that hadn’t even crossed our minds! She was extremely organized, reliable, and was super flexible when we had to change some things up. With all of the obstacles that come with planning a wedding during a pandemic, Thalia ALWAYS helped make things easier for us. She was such a light through our wedding season!
During the wedding, she helped make the day so unforgettable. I’m a little camera shy and awkward when I’m put on the spot, but she somehow knows how to simultaneously make you feel comfortable and excited to be the center of attention! During our planning period, my husband and I had told her we didn’t want to feel too posed and were looking forward to more “candid” shots. While she definitely delivered with the candids, I’m so happy that she still took time to shoot portraits with us. Not to be vain, but I still cannot stop admiring our pictures! :’) In the months following our big day, David’s Bridal and the Wedding Wire highlighted Thalia’s work at our wedding and it’s like I get to re-live our day all over again. She was hands-down, one of THE BEST decisions we made for our wedding. She would be an amazing photographer for any and all of your needs, and has our highest recommendation!
