I have known for years that I wanted to get married on Maui when the time came, but I knew I needed a team of experts to make it a reality. Platinum, specifically Amber, was the team that made it happen and we couldn't be happier with our experience working with them. I looked at several wedding planners on the island, but I was sold on Platinum from my first call with Taryn. I worked with Amber throughout the planning process and through our wedding day. She made the planning process so simple and recommend amazing vendors. I had several more difficult or even picky requests about various aspects of the wedding and Amber did an amazing job executing each one. I along with my husband and family were especially impressed with Amber on our wedding day. Every part our wedding ran smoothly, even with some rain. She remained very calm and professional when it rained before and after the ceremony which I was very grateful for as I was not calm about the rain situation. She especially went above and beyond to be there for us and make sure things went smoothly while we took couples pictures in the rain. In the end, our Merriman's wedding was more amazing than we could have imagined. We really couldn't be more impressed with our experience. Taryn was the most supportive and resourceful wedding planner I could have asked for! She stood by us when our florist bailed and even through a possible hurricane! It has been an absolute pleasure to work with her. What makes her exceptional is her responsiveness, undivided attention and care to detail, and her clear passion for weddings. She doesn't treat me like I'm just another person getting married on Maui, which was the vibe I got from a few planners I interviewed. Even when I did not go with some of her recommended vendors, Taryn was very supportive. Regrettably, my first choice florist flaked out last minute and Taryn was able to secure another one last minute! While some people do not think they need a wedding planner, peace of mind and support is priceless. Even the most organized human beings, like me, needs help in battling the beast that is a destination wedding! So many things can go wrong and it usually does. Mine was a small wedding (25 people) and I could not have pulled it off without Taryn. I highly recommend her.

We were lucky enough to find and work with Taryn who made our little wedding absolutely stress free and perfect. Taryn was professional from beginning to end and was always prompt in replying to our questions/needs. My wife and I are both amazed how stress free the wedding day was because of Taryn, even after the hotel had an issue with our location. We could have saved a little money by working directly with the hotel, but in the end, it was well worth it to work with Taryn.
