Our cake ended up being one of our favorite parts of our wedding! Andi was so great to work with; affordable, responsive, and gave us lots of options. We LOVED everything at the tasting, and had trouble picking a flavor for the cake because they were all so good. We added macarons for some of our gluten free family members, and hadn't actually tasted any, but when we tried them at the wedding they are just as fantastic as her cake. Highly recommend!

We tasted a cakes from a few different bakeries and we chose Andi because her flavors and buttercream were better. Andi was great to work with and was always available when we had questions. Andi was very accommodating, we ended up having fewer guests than we initially planned for, and we were able to change the size of our cake a few weeks before our wedding. In the end our cake was beautiful and tasted great. We would gladly recommend Tart and Craft!

From first contact to final pick up, working with Tart & Craft was a fantastic experience. I wasn’t really sure about cake design when I first contacted Tart & Craft, so Andi created a few options that fit my general (vague) concept. The final product was beyond anything I could have envisioned—it was quite the conversation piece at our reception! Most importantly, though, our cake was delicious (or as Mary Berry from Great British Bake Off would say “absolutely scrummy!”). The cake was a perfect texture and the frosting was silky smooth and not too sweet. You can definitely tell that Tart & Craft uses high-quality ingredients in their creations. I can’t recommend Tart & Craft enough—and now after writing this post I’m seriously craving a slice of their cake!

Andi with Tart and Craft is just as sweet as the beautiful creations that she makes. Her desserts are so delicious that my stepson, who doesn't like cake, loves the ones that Andi makes and is obsessed with her macarons. He actually asked for a macaron cake for his birthday.

We hired Andi to do our wedding favors which were a pair of salted caramel and pistachio macarons. The salted caramel macarons aren't on her original menu but she worked with us to create a special one for our wedding. True to her "craft" name, Andi also helped us create the artwork for the favor stickers since the favors are a play on our names, Carmela & Patrick. She helped us create stickers that said "With Love, Salted Caramela & Patstachio". Our guests loved the cleverness of the favors and loved the delicious macarons even more! Our older family members actually complimented us on the wedding favors and our younger guests were Instragramming them during the reception. We actually ordered 50 more than we needed but they were so popular, the favors were all gobbled away by the next day. My wedding coordinator also asked me for her information so she could recommend Andi to her future clients. We were absolutely thrilled with our desserts and we will definitely hire Andi again to make cakes for our future milestones.

A side note: Our reception venue is strict with catering and only allowed us to choose 1 of 3 caterers. Our cake was made by our caterer for the wedding. Andi did our wedding favors but also did our wedding shower cake, cookies, cake pops, and macarons. The wedding shower cake was mango flavored with buttercream and the macarons were blackberry flavored. All were gone by the end of the shower. Some of my wedding shower guests loved her mango cake so much, they hired Andi to make cakes for their upcoming baby showers and sprinkles. We absolutely love Tart and Craft and her delicious desserts.

Andi is awesome to work with! I contacted her less than a month before our wedding and she is incredibly flexible! We had a tasting at her lovely house and nailed down the details of the cake fairly quickly. She is very accommodating and listens to and understands all my requirements, the cake ended up being very beautiful and a highlight of the whole wedding. In addition to that, the wedding tastes far more delicious than you normally would expect from a wedding cake, and our caterer even asked for her contact. Thank you so much for making this wonderful cake for my wedding!

Andi is so talented!! I loved the taste and look of all the desserts I ordered from her. She made my wedding cake as well as other desserts (macarons, cupcakes, cake pops) for my wedding. She was so easy to work with, responsive, flexible, and very well priced. I myself am a home baker and very particular about the looks of the dessert. Andi is extremely detail oriented and all her baked goods looked perfect and of course, were delicious. I am planning on using her talent again for my daughter’s 1st birthday and a lot of other events in the future!!

Andi was recommended to me by one of my best friend's since she's used her in the past. She made our wedding cake and it was absolutely gorgeous and delicious! She's so easy to work with and caters to all of her clients. I couldn't have imagined my wedding cake to be any different. Not only is the work great, but her red velvet and strawberry flavors are to die for! Tart & Craft - Andi is amazing!!! She knew exactly what I wanted and made my wedding cake come to real life! I got married almost three years ago and yet til this day I still brag about how beautiful and yummy my cake was! She has several different flavors and her designs are just amazing. I had previous encounters with Andi's cakes and pastries from different occasions. After having tasted her creations, I knew right away that I wanted her to make my wedding cake. We had a fall wedding and I wanted the cake to represent that time of the year. We met a few times to discuss my vision of how I wanted the cake to look, and she was very helpful in giving ideas and turning my vision into reality. She did not disappoint! The cake turned out more perfect than I could have imagined. It helped a lot that we worked with Andi very closely throughout the process. She was available to chat anytime any day. Her professionalism made it a stress-free wedding. We actually ended up adding a 14 inch croquembouche to our order, in addition to the 2 tiered wedding cake. The croquembouche was delicious too. Everybody at the wedding was impressed with Andi's cakes and pastries!

I have worked with Tart & Craft for a few years now and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Her work is truly amazing and tasty! I am so blessed to have found her. She’s done baby showers, Birthdays, Christening, and recently my sister’s wedding cake. If you are in the DMV, I highly recommend her services. You won’t regret it!
