Hi my name is Casey Matthews, a.k.a. DJ Special K owner if Systems DJ services. I started my DJ career in the nightclubs when was a student at Worcester State University in my early 20's. I had no idea i would be providing quality DJ services to the New England area. In that time, I learning some valuable skills. One is, crowd reading and knowing what my clients are vibing to. I pay attention to music trends and learn what my audience is really listening to. Two is, kowing when to transtion to different genres of music. During all of our consultation, we talk about custmizing our clients playlists. Everything from the cocktail hour, to the introduction, to the dance floor this, In my experience this keeps the energy level high and the dance floor moving.

This allows, my daughter and I to create a stress free plan before the wedding day. We meet with you and your coordinator to do a walk-throught in the venue and talk about the timeline and the setup. We provide state-of-art audio equipment from QSC, Shure microphones, and Pioneer DJ mixers. Our main sound system is clear, crisp, and can handle a big crowd. We also provide a ceremony set-up that's perfect for outdoor ceremonies. Our Mickie ThumpGo set-up is fully battery powered and allows us to set-up anywhere to provide sound support. Lastly, we feature a photo booth, Uplighting, dance floor light, and moving lights.
