Congratulations! Thank you for considering us for such an important celebration. We're thrilled to share our passion for good, wholesome food, with you and your loved ones. Our couples always come back to visit our food truck and tell us their guests are still raving about the food at their wedding reception. Wedding food doesn't have to be really expensive and/or bland.
Sweets & Meats BBQ is family owned and operated. We specialize in smoked meats, homemade sides and desserts using family recipes. Everything we serve is made from scratch daily, using quality ingredients. We are easy going and flexible to work with. We're able to customize a menu to meet your needs and always do our best to suggest items that will stay within your budget, providing multiple options. We offer buffet catering or service with our food truck or food trailer. We also launched a new catering division, All Occasions Catering, in 2023 and offer a more extensive menu with our sister company if you are looking for a variety of options.
In 2023, Sweets & Meats BBQ took home 1st Place Dessert at Taste of Cincinnati.
In 2022, Sweets & Meats BBQ took home the 2nd & 3rd Place Entree at Taste of Cincinnati.
In 2019, Sweets & Meats BBQ won the 1st place Entree at Taste of Cincinnati and Taste of West Chester.
We have also been recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration as the Ohio Small Business of the Year in Washington, D.C. We're very proud of our accomplishments, but nothing excites us more than being asked to cater weddings - we take great pride in what we do and it is an honor each time we get to do it.
We also offer drop off catering and catering service with our food truck, if you're seeking other options for an engagement party, bridal shower, or rehearsal dinner. Tastings are scheduled by appointment. We also invite you to check us out at one of our public events. So many compliments
THE FOOD!! One of our top necessities was good food! We did appetizers during cocktail hour and then a full buffet for dinner. We have been getting nothing but great feedback from our guest about how amazing the food was, especially the mac & cheese, brisket and pulled chicken.
The team was wonderful with helping us figure out the quantities needed and we still had some left over- which my husband and I are not mad about! And they even packaged it away for us so that we could take it home after the wedding.
I think for the service and quality of food provided that it is worth every penny and would recommend Sweets and Meats for your catering needs!

Kristen Bailey is a Cincinnati native and established Sweets and Meats BBQ in 2014. She's has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and left the financial industry after 15 years in retail banking to work full time in the restaurant.
Sweets & Meats BBQ has been a dream in the making for a long time. She and her partner Anton have grown the business from backyard cookouts to a mobile tent set up, food truck and catering operation, and now brick and mortar location in their neighborhood within the first 3 years.
Kristen is very active in her community. In 2020 she was appointed to the National Small Business Development Center Advisory Board by the U.S. Small Business Administration. She is the LSDMC Co-Chair at Mt. Washington Elementary School. She mentors other business owners through her business accelerator, MORTAR, and is a work site coordinator for culinary students at Cincinnati Job Corps, where her business has been a partner for 5 years. She is also a participating member of La Soupe's Community Kitchen Program.
She received the coveted Cincinnati Business Courier "Forty Under 40 Award," SCORE Client of the Year and SBDC Client of the Year in 2018. In 2019, Kristen was named the Ohio Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. In 2020, she was recognized for being resilient and being able to pivot amidst the pandemic, and honored as a Family Business Finalist by the UC Goering Center. In 2021, 2022, and 2023 Kristen was awarded Best Female Entrepreneur and Food Truck by Cincy Chic.
Jacoby has been with Sweets & Meats BBQ since we launched in 2016. Her passion is serving others and helping to make their wedding extra special with the addition of our BBQ.
Billie is our Office Operations Manager. She was recognized by the UC Goering Center as the 2023 Rising Leader Award Winner.
