We would recommend Sweet Relief to family, friends and strangers. Eric and his team were fast, affordable, attentive and incredibly accommodating. The delicious grilled buffet, awesome open bar, linens, appetizers and dessert were more than we could have imagined. Eric listened to every one of our 1000 requests and has a great laid back but knowledgeable style. He was helpful, honest and kind and his team was professional, and we had the best day of our lives at our wedding last week!

Sweet Relief was wonderful to work with....the food....presentation ....set-up and tear down was very professional...the ONLY thing we would have changed is having a TWO SIDED BUFFET LINE as some people took too long making their decisions and that was our fault !!! Mike & Betsy Damitx

Sweet Relief did a fabulous job catering my daughter's wedding. Eric was flexible, accessible, and extremely easy to work with. He and his staff were great - passing appetizers, cleaning up, cutting the cake, putting together plates for the bride and groom. The food was excellent - many compliments on the grilled salmon and the scallop ceviche in particular. We had a Tuscan Table which looked beautifully abundant with veggies, breads, cheeses, etc. All for an excellent price! We are so glad that we found Sweet Relief and highly recommend them!

Sweet Relief Catering went above and beyond our expectations for the food and service at our wedding. Having an outdoor wedding, so I googled outdoor caterers and came across Sweet Relief. The prices seemed too good to be true, especially after meeting with other caterers in Southeastern CT. When we met with Eric at his store front in West Haven for a tasting we were blown away completely. Eric was such a great host. We did not have to make any changes because the menu he prepared was absolutely perfect. The price was amazing for the extraordinary food that Eric serves. He always responded to us promptly and even when we upped our guest count by 50 people, it was not an issue. It was so nice to have a vendor so accommodating during the crazy wedding planning. On the day of the wedding, even though they had never been to the venue before, everything went seamlessly. They adapted perfectly with the setting. Not only this, but on our wedding day, August 15th, 2015 there was an 8 car pile-up on I-95 which was the main route from West Haven to our wedding almost 50 miles away. Other vendors and guests that were driving an eighth of that distance had a hard time. His staff even came up to my husband and asked if they could help with anything else which was great because our venue was lacking tremendously. This was above and beyond what we expected. We had plenty. Every single person at the wedding loved the food and I have had many ask about Sweet Relief because they were so impressed. The sesame crusted cedar plank salmon was most popular; and I have had at least 10 people tell me it was the best salmon they have ever had. And one person who hated salmon before this loved this dish; and went back for seconds. If you are planning an event, hire Sweet Relief Catering and you can rest easy that everything will go smooth.

We were married September 5th at Hammonnasset State Park and Sweet Relief catered. They were amazing! Eric the owner met with us prior to the wedding for a food tasting; he really took the time to listen to our menu ideas and put together a great menu for us! The food and service was perfect and our guests loved the food! We have had friends ask us who catered our wedding so that they may use them in the future. Thank you Eric and his team for making our wedding so memorable with the great service and food!

We recently used Sweet Relief for my sister's August 1, 2015 wedding for 75 guests - they were fantastic! Eric was easy to work with and very accommodating to our needs and the venue's unique layout. On the day of the event the staff was organized and professional, everything was awesome. The food was delicious and many of the guests raved about it. Eric went out of his way to make everything great, we can't thank him and his team enough for helping make my sister's wedding a success.

We strongly recommend Sweet Relief. Eric and his team did great work. We had several meetings with Eric, and he was responsive to our concerns and gave us some ideas for how to fix problems. He was also flexible in terms of accommodating changes to our plan and number of guests. The food was good. The bar service was very good according to our guests: we had some fairly late changes to the drink menu, but these were taken care of with not much trouble. Over the course of planning the wedding, we realized the caterer is really the vendor at the heart of the whole thing, and so it’s important to find one that isn’t going to drive you crazy and will get everything done in a low-key way. We definitely felt like Sweet Relief accomplished all of that, and we’re thankful we found them.

The people of Sweet Relief were so nice and easy to work with. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. They made the day special for us abs the best part was they came in, did their job, and didn't need much attention from us that day!
