Working with Katie as our wedding photographer was an amazing experience. From our very first phone call we felt comfortable and confident we'd be in great hands. The engagement shoot was a perfect chance to get to know her and feel relaxed in front of the camera. Katie offered helpful coaching that made us feel like ourselves. Her suggested timeline kept our wedding day running smoothly and in sync with our venue. We received both engagement and wedding photos quickly, and I am absolutely obsessed with how the wedding images turned out. I'm so glad we chose Sweet Lady Jane!

Katie is amazing! She makes you feel so comfortable and is very organized. She helped create our wedding day timeline and helped up stay on track with it that day. She has great ideas about photography locations, which was so helpful to us as we were not familiar with Gloucester, and most importantly, her photos are stunning!! We are in love with our wedding gallery.

Katie was the best photographer we could've asked for on our wedding day! From the second we looked at her website and talked to her over the phone, we knew she was the right person to photograph our wedding! Katie is so sweet and genuine and truly cares about the couples she photographs! She was so responsive to emails during the entire planning process and brought such a calming presence on the wedding day! I was so nervous about pictures the day of the wedding because it was supposed to rain all day, but Katie assured us that we would make it work and she was absolutely right! From the second she arrived on the morning of the wedding, she brought positive energy. She even wore a light purple jacket to match the colors of my bridesmaids dresses and floral theme which made me SO happy. Her photography style was perfect for us because it's genuine and authentic so we could just be ourselves and she captured so many wonderful, little moments throughout the day. We received all of the photos less than a month after the wedding and they are all so amazing! We're having such a hard time choosing photos to use around the house because there are so many beautiful ones! My husband keeps saying that we have a photographer for life and I couldn't agree more! We plan to hire her for any future family portraits because she is so incredible! We highly recommend booking Katie for your wedding photos!

I feel so thankful that we found Katie to photograph our wedding. She was so much fun to work with - and the perfect balance of helping us pose and get the right photos while still just documenting our day as it happened. Couldn't have asked for a better mix. She was also an amazing advocate for me when she could tell I needed a minute to breathe because of nerves - we got to every picture we wanted and she was able to adapt the schedule based on the (few) hiccups so easily! This hasn't even begun to touch on how perfect and beautiful the photos turned out. She knew the best places in town and in our venue to take photos and it really shows in how gorgeous the pictures are. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Katie and her photography skills. Katie is so much fun to work with to the point my husband asked if we could do a second engagement shoot. She has a special way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera without putting you in strange or awkward poses. The photos she produces are some of the most beautiful. They are authentic (not over-edited), candid and really capture my husband and I's relationship. By the time we got to the wedding, I was excited to have Katie there as a friend in addition to photographer!

Hiring Katie from Sweet Lady Jane Photography was one of the easiest and best decisions we made throughout our whole wedding planning process! Katie is so incredibly kindhearted, professional, accommodating, and talented and she made us feel at ease as soon as we met her! Katie’s work speaks for itself, but we can truly say that she is the best! Katie took our engagement pictures and they all came out so beautiful! She was so patient and accommodating, and we left our shoot knowing that we made the right decision having her as our wedding photographer. She sent us our pictures within two weeks and we were in shock with how beautiful they all came out! She captured so many incredible moments between my fiancé and I and she somehow captured the few moments that our dog was cooperative! Our wedding day was everything we ever wanted and Katie did such an incredible job capturing every detail and every moment from our day—she has such a good eye for those picture perfect moments! She put in so much effort before our wedding to make sure she photographed everything we wanted and she went out of her way a few days before to check out different locations near our venue where we could take our pictures. Katie really went above and beyond to make sure our pictures were perfect (and they were)! She was so efficient, patient, and easy to work with on our wedding day and there was not a minute that was wasted when she was with us! Katie posted a few sneak peaks the day after our wedding and we got our full gallery less than a month after our wedding—I’m telling you, she really is efficient! If you want to spend money on any part of your wedding, this is the part to spend it on—you’ll have so many incredibly beautiful pictures to look back on. Katie is a dream wedding vendor and she is worth every penny!

We were quite overwhelmed when we first started looking for a wedding photographer. We searched all over Wedding Wire, The Knot, followed some on facebook, etc. and then began checking out different prices to narrow down the photographers in our price range. We then asked for samples of their work, and set up a meeting in person to see if we connected with the photographer. It was a bit of work, but after meeting with different people in person we knew that Katie was the one for us!

Katie left corporate america to start her photography business, and she's darn good at it!! She has a special eye for capturing moods, details, love, laughs, etc. She has a streamline process for when you receive your photos: you get a sneak peek, then you are posted on her blog, and then there is a website to download all of the high quality photos.

Our engagement session was a great opportunity to get to know her behind the lens, and she helps tell you what to do if you are feeling lost. We felt comfortable with her and trusted her to capture everything!

Our wedding was very relaxing knowing that Katie took care of all of our family "to do list" photos right after the ceremony, so she could then capture other details of our guests enjoying the big day as well. We also wanted to save our memories by purchasing a high quality photo album through her. We are currently in the process of narrowing down our favorite photos, and picking which cover to have! :)

We felt that we got a great deal on our package without breaking the bank, and got high quality service in return.

In fact, she was so great for us and my family loved her so much that my sister is now using her for her wedding next year! :)

Katie was actually the second photographer we hired for our wedding. I felt uneasy about the first company we chose to go with because it was too business oriented and we felt like we were just another number to them. Katie had done our friends' wedding so I had seen the amazing work she did for them. I reached out to her and after our first conversation on the phone I immediately knew we needed to hire her. Katie is so kind and friendly, her prices are reasonable and she is super easy to work with. She helped us find the perfect spots to take photos in the city for both the urban feel and a location with greenery. She captured 750+ of the important moments and memories of the day. I don't know how we'll decide on which ones to print out!

I would definitely recommend Katie to other brides and plan to use her for other family photos in the future.

I hired Sweet Lady Jane to photograph our engagement session and wedding. This was one of the best decisions ever! When I was searching for a wedding photographer I felt discouraged at first because most of my results populated photography that was overly edited with shots that were too posed/cliché. Sweet Lady Jane photography caught my eye with its focus on natural lighting, candid shots, and timeless style. After my initial meeting with Katie, I was reassured that I could trust her to document one of the most important days of my life. She is kind, professional, and organized. Leading up to the wedding we were in constant communication and she was always quick to reply. The day of the wedding she arrived on time and her sweet personality helped to calm my nerves. The photos she took are gorgeous and whenever I look at my wedding photos I feel like I’m reliving that day all over again. I highly recommend Sweet Lady Jane!

I don't even know where to begin this review. Katie from Sweet Lady Jane photography understood as right away. We met for the first time on a Saturday morning at Starbucks during a rainstorm. Katie had a wedding to go to that night and I remember feeling really bad for the bride because it was raining. We absolutely loved Katie during that meeting but needed a few days to meet with other photographers so we told her we'd be in touch. A week later on Katie's blog I saw the pictures from that rainy wedding she had done. They were so gorgeous that I thought anyone that could make a rainy day look so beautiful must be a great photographer! We booked her that night.

Months later, Katie made the tea up to Maine for our engagement pictures and followed us around to 3 locations! She was such a trooper and we had SO much fun with her. She made the whole experience so great.

Four months later, in August, she photographed our wedding day. She came to our hotel and then to the venue. She did her thing and walked all around taking pictures. I was so anxious and nervous all of a sudden that day. It was really hot and about to rain and my emotions got the best of me. One thing I will never forget is a sweet and funny story Katie told me about her sister's wedding. It really made me feel better and took the edge off!

Our pictures came out so beautiful! She is such a good photographer and knew just what kinds of pictures that I wanted just by chatting with us a few times. She was also so patient with my crazy parents who kept their cameras around their necks and snapped all the family pictures she was posing!

I cannot recommend Katie from Sweet Lady Jane enough. You will not be disappointed!
