Kim and her team at Sweet Althea's were great! We had sampled some cupcakes for Christmas an knew right away we wanted them at or wedding. We met with Kim and went over our overall theme and flavors we liked, and she whipped some up for us to taste. We ended up with a Kahlua Cappuccino, pumpkin with cinnamon buttercream frosting, and a chocolate peanutbutter. They were so good!!! Everyone enjoyed them, I wish we had some left overs! Communication and delivery were great. Highly recommend!

Kim, the owner, is so fantastic. She's very easy to talk to and so accommodating! She made cupcakes for my wedding along with a 6 inch cake for the cutting. We got the cupcakes in oreo and salted caramel and the cake was pumpkin spice with cinnamon frosting- they were all to die for. She set it up beautifully creating an awesome beach theme with brown sugar and sea shells. I loved working with Kim and would definitely use Sweet Althea's again!

Kim a Sweet Althea's made beautiful seaside themed cake, with cupcakes and a special Angel Food cake for the bride as a special request! On time, perfect favors, great service! Couldn't have been happier!

Kim was awesome and easy to communicate with. She was flexible when the rain delayed our arrival by half an hour, coming from NYC. Cake tasting and actual cake were both delicious - vanilla icing with chocolate butter scotch flavor cake! It was delivered on time. We & all the guests loved the presentation & flavor of the cake!

For our wedding, we had Sweet Althea's make cakes as the centerpieces for the reception tables. We also had them make our wedding cake. They made the most delicious cakes and worked with the dietary restrictions that we had (We had to have one cake that was vegan and nut free and also our wedding cake needed to be dairy free.) Our guests raved about the cake and are actually still raving about it. Both of our families made special requests for us to get Sweet Althea's cakes for our Christmas celebrations too!
We planned the wedding from Seattle and held it in Narragansett and corresponding with them could not have been easier. They were very prompt in responding to emails and also took the long distance planning in stride. They were able to set up a morning tasting with our parents and kept us involved throughout the process.
