Susan was absolutely wonderful. We did our engagement session with her (awesome - came with our wedding package) and from the beginning, we could tell that we made the right choice in a photographer. She was super friendly, professional, and was constantly asking for input from me as well as suggesting her own ideas that came out wonderfully. Throughtout the wedding planning, I would send her my own ideas, and she remembered them months later at our wedding. I have only seen a couple teasers, but I know that the end results are going be absolutely beautiful. I am so happy with our choice and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a fun, easy-going, friendly and hard working photographer who is a great deal for how much energy she puts into her work!

Susan was incredible! Everyone has commented on what a wonderful job she did. I barely saw her during the wedding...she got incredible shots while staying out of the spotlight. She was very careful to stay out of view while also compiling a collection of incredible candids and professional posed shots. We are so happy with her work, and her personality is a bonus! So similey and nice, and get any shot that we asked for! She also remembered from our first visit a couple of shots that I wanted to get but forgot about amid the chaos of the day, and made sure to get them. We highly recommend her!

If you need a photographer look no further. Susan Ruddy is all you need! Sue is so professional and personable, it felt like she was part of the family. Sue met with me on several occasions to talk about our game plan. Sue was always available to talk about my concerns and accommodated my wishes 100 percent. Sue also drove around Albany on her own time to pick out the best spots. Sues daughter Emily worked with her on my wedding and Emily was so professional and right on top of EVERYTHING. Look no further Sue and Emily capture every detail and moment of your day. The album says it all! The memories will last a lifetime.

Susan was great to work with and very accommodating. We opted for one of her higher end packages, and it was well worth it. We had an engagement session to see how we would work together, which was very very helpful as I heard wedding days can be a little stressful. It is good to know that you can communicate and work comfortably together. We worked one on one with Susan the entire time (unlike some larger studios), and were fully involved in the process from planning shots and locations, to timing. On the day of our wedding, she was available for photos at our house, the church, off site wedding party photos, and then the reception. Susan was always willing to go the extra mile to capture all of the moments of the day. After the wedding, we sat with her in the studio to build the album together. Some vendors pick the photos and create the album for you, but we had control of each photo and the layout. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it. We received our own copy of the photos two weeks after the wedding and the finished album a couple months after that. We enjoyed working with her, and have purchased additional photo sessions with her.

I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon Susan Ruddy at a wedding expo. After endless hours researching photographers on websites I was so happy to find Susan. She represented everything I was looking for in a photographer: someone who could take the standard posed shots with a flair, get the unforgettable candid moments, and take amazing artistic shots, and also someone I could feel at ease with taking my picture. She was flexible and worked around our budget. Not only does she take unbelievable pictures but she is such a friendly and genuine person it makes it easy to be in front of her camera. Susan took our engagement and wedding photos and we couldn't be more thrilled with them! Everyone loves them and comments on how great they came out. Susan takes the time to really listen to you and make sure she captures every detail you heart may desire.

She also did my boudoir session as a gift for my hubby on our big day and although I was a little nervous with the process Susan was a pro at getting me to feel relaxed and comfortable. I was so impressed with how amazing Susan was able to capture me and so was my husband! She took so many great pics, it was hard to choose the images to be included in the book I gave him.

I have been telling all my friends about her for their upcoming weddings. I'm even thinking of doing a trash the dress session with her because I know they would be amazing photos!

I can't wait until we start a family so Susan can take our baby's pictures!

Susan was a pleasure to work with and extremely professional. With the package that we chose we got an engagement session included, and she was willing to go with us into Boston to take the photos. We also had a meeting the week before the wedding to discuss important photos that we wanted taken at the wedding. After about 2 weeks the pictures were posted online and able to be viewed, and they came out better than I could have ever imagined.

We loved working with Susan. She was professional, easy going and totally made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was willing to roll with the punches and blended in seamlessly in the background but was able to get all of the key shots that we wanted.

I can't wait to contact her to take our baby's first pictures.....we're due in August.
