About
Nestled in the heart of California's Gold Country, Stone House is a premier historic venue in Nevada City. The mid-19th century stone walls combined with its stylish contemporary interior remodel provide a truly unique setting for celebrations of all kinds.
Stone House Nevada City — The Spaces
The Courtyard — up to 130 for a ceremony / 100 seated dinner. Say your vows under open California sky, framed by 1850s stonework and a century and a half of ivy. The building itself is the backdrop — no décor required.
The Showroom — up to 300 for cocktails & dancing / 50 seated dinner stage-side. The music room. Full production lighting and a sound system built for live bands, headliner DJs, and dance floors that don't quit until last call.
The Great Hall — up to 100 seated dinner (150 cocktails). The main dining room — Gold Rush bones, modern refinement. Stone walls, timber beams, and long tables set for the kind of dinner guests remember.
The Lounge — up to 50 seated (150 combined with the Great Hall). Easy flow, room to breathe, and an upstairs bar. Where cocktail hour lands, conversations linger, and guests peel off from the bigger rooms.
The Cavern — fits up to 30. Stone-walled, candle-lit, cool in every sense. Built for wine tastings, whiskey pours, and the hour before everything begins.
The Parlour — up to 100 cocktails (200 combined with the Showroom). A private room with a full bar and a door that closes. Getting ready, close-family toasts, or the quiet after the crowd clears out.
The Suite — 3-bedroom penthouse bridal suite. A private apartment upstairs for the couple and closest family. The night before, the night of, and the soft landing the morning after.
