If you're looking for the perfect wedding officiant, Steven is just the person you're looking for. The pre-marital counselling session with him and his wife Heather were amazing. At first, we were a bit hesitant to open up, but once we did we learned so much about ourselves, our relationship, and marriage in general!

We ended up moving out of state shortly after we started working with Steven, which changed up our schedule from what he usually recommends. Any time we came back into town, he was able to fit us into his busy schedule.

Finally, Steven did a wonderful job with the ceremony on our wedding day. He tailored it to our wants and needs, and it turned out amazing. We had many compliments on Steven's "performance" from our guests.

We met Steven when he married two of my friends. When we got engaged we contacted him immediately to book him as our officiate. Steven is very accommodating and professional. He welcomed us into his home for marriage counseling with him and his wife. Each session was very valuable and important to know when entering a marriage. I highly recommend the sessions. He customized a ceremony specific to what my husband and I wanted including mostly traditional vows, but flexible to customize to your liking. All of our guests thought the ceremony was amazing. We could not be any happier having worked with Steven.

Steven and his wife made our engagement process so much easier. During your 5 premarital sessions, they teach you the foundations of marriage and will give you the secrets on how to maintain a good and healthy relationship with your spouse. I feel so blessed that our paths crossed- we couldn't have tied the knot without them!

Steven requires 5 pre-marital classes with him and his wife which my husband and I thought helped us to build a relationship with them and enhanced our ceremony. We received several compliments from our guests on the wedding ceremony and message and were quite pleased ourselves!

After interviewing several officiants, we knew right away we wanted Steven! Prior to meeting him, we listened to some of his messages on his website. We loved how he spoke about his beliefs and God, in a clear, meaningful way. After our initial meeting, we decided to take the marriage classes with him and his wife, Heather. They are such a fun couple! They were so open and honest with us about marriage, which helped us to feel that we could be open and honest in return. Steven wrote a beautiful ceremony for us, and was completely open to adding some non-traditional aspects that I wanted to include (a tree-planting ceremony and a ring-warming ceremony). My uncle, who is a pastor, told me after the wedding how impressed he was with Steven's ceremony, and that he took the time to meet with us to counsel us. A friend of mine said it was the best ceremony she had ever seen - including her own. Working with Steven, and getting to know him and Heather, was a great experience - I highly recommend him!

We had Steven as our officiant for our wedding in August 2015. We booked services for Rehearsal, Ceremony, and 2 marriage prep classes.

He performed a beautiful ceremony and had very special elements and readings to make it special. The whole process was easy and enjoyable, from asking questions about his services before booking, to booking his services, and working together to organize the ceremony. I live in California and had my wedding in Michigan and he was great communicating via email and made the whole process very easy. Steven created special ceremony, and then sent me the outline to review and approve. He customized it based on what i had mentioned i wanted. It had some religious elements but was laid back at the same time. It was about 35 minutes long which is just what i wanted and we included a reading from a bridal party member, unity candle, and eucharist just for bride and groom. Besides the special readings/quotes, my favorite part was the hands ceremony he included - so special. He was very clear in his speaking. I would highly recommend booking some classes with him that he offers. It was so fun and great to spend the time with him and his lovely wife getting to know each other better and really developing a friendship. We could not take all 6 classes which was a bummer but took 2. Our schedules were tight from being out-of-towners and he was very flexible to make sure we could make something work. Very happy with his services :)

We had steven as our wedding officiant for our wedding, and are so happy we did! He was very perfessional, great to work with, and all around a great person. My new wife and I found him online. We were planning a wedding in Michigan, even though we live in Texas. Steven was outstanding! Since we could not travel to meet him in person, he offered to talk with us on the phone and e-mail us as often as we needed in order to feel comfortable with him. He was very open to particular ideas and phrasing that we wanted in the ceremony, and he always followed through on anything that he said he would do for us. He was punctual for rehearsal and the ceremony.

I would also like to stress how professional and friendly he was. We were very nervous about finding someone from far away, but we could not have found a better guy to do our wedding, even if we'd had 100 people here in our home town to interview in person. Steven is just a genuine, relaxed, and all-around awesome guy!
