In 1946, Harold and Theresa Steffan opened Steffan's Jewelers on Main Street in McHenry. They retired in 1975 and turned the family business over to their daughter, Marie. During that time, Marie's daughter, twelve year old Suzanne, began working in the store and the business has been her passion ever since.

Today, her son Max works beside her making him the 4th generation in this family business that remains in McHenry serving McHenry, Lake County, southern Wisconsin and hundreds of clients who reside out of state.

Steffan’s carries brands such as Hearts on Fire, Mark Schneider, Pandora, and Bulova. Customer’s can also custom design their pieces through Steffan’s, have appraisals, or have pieces repaired.
