We used the Randall dining hall for our reception (ceremony at the naval academy chapel) and it is such a hidden gem in downtown Annapolis. My husband and i knew we wanted a personal, intimate location for our reception and the moment we walked into St. John's we knew we had found our dream venue location! The architecture is truly stunning. The venue provides tables and chairs, and set them up for you. Only downside to this location is that because it is the students dining hall, they only rent it's out when the student are gone for break. We had our wedding the weekend after their winter finals. If you are flexible with working your wedding date around the schools calendar I would highly recommend this venue. So many of my guests told me that our wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings they'd ever been to. I worked with Diane with arrangements for the room and she was so helpful and responsive. If you'd like you see photos of the space, google " St. John's annapolis wedding" and prepare to fall in love!

Loved this venue! We had our ceremony in the Great Hall and the reception in the Hodson Boat House. Both were perfect, and the folks at St. John's were nice to work with.

We used the Randall Dining Hall (reception only) and loved it. St. John's is downtown (so close to our church, which was a must), historic, not a wedding factory, charming, beautiful, and was great to work with. We had a very easy time working with Christine Tolson, our contact, and she was extremely responsive and helpful. As this is a working college and there are not multiple weddings a day, not eveything is conducive to a reception, such as easy access for low mobility people- the closest drop off point was a couple hundred yards or so from the entrance (though it is handicapped accessible with ramps, etc). The closest reliable free parking is the Calvert St garage, about .2 miles away. You are also at the mercy of the academic calendar and cannot reseve the dining hall more than 1 year in advance. However, if you are looking for somewhere in downtown Annapolis that is beautiful, historic, and won't require a second mortgage, this is pretty much it. My husband and I loved it and would do it all again in a heartbeat.

We had our wedding ceremony at The Great Hall and our reception right next door in the Dining Hall at St. John's College in the beautiful historic Annapolis. So many of our guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever attended. From the first time I laid my eyes on these buildings, I knew I had to get married here. The spaces are the perfect size for an intimate and personal wedding and don't need much decoration; they themselves are the decor. Christine was very easy to work with and was very helpful and responsive.

Since they are historic buildings and a college campus, there are some strict rules to follow, so when booking keep this in mind.

Overall, we were overjoyed to have our wedding venue at St. John's. It was a stunning venue for our wedding that I will always remember fondly.
