The Guntry Club of Maryland is an exciting new Wedding / Event venue located in Owings Mills Maryland. GUNTRY’S unique industrial warm setting provides memories all by itself. Add your own personal touches to make your special day even more extraordinary.
The Guntry Club’s private VIP area can host up to 120 people for a cocktail style reception. Guest numbers vary depending on floor plan and style of service. Outdoor seating is also available on the patio. GUNTRY has several rooms available for the bridal party or hosts to prepare and get ready, as well as several pre- wedding activities within feet from the venue.
GUNTRY Club is proud to have an Executive Chef ready to prepare a wide variety of cuisine for you and your guests. You can meet with the Chef and management team to design your menu together and ensure you are offering everything you want to your guests. Authorized caterers are also allowed per approval from GUNTRY.
GUNTRY is a five-year long project which has just come to reality in January of 2020! Guntry is a family owned business and the vision of a retired police Lieutenant and his partner, a fellow police officer and detective. The full-service indoor range and education center in one of a kind in the country and offers 29 climate-controlled lanes at 25 yards and 5 lanes at 100 yards. The GUNTRY Club provides an on-site gunsmith, and cafe. GUNTRY also feature a 75-person classroom for HQL and safety training, as well as an upscale V.I.P. Club and private lanes for members only.
GUNTRY Club is approximately 17 miles from BWI Thurgood Marshal Airport and only minutes off interstate 795. GUNTRY has several Hotels within 2 miles; Residence Inn By Marriot, Hilton Inn and Hampton Inn, and backs up to Red Run Valley trail, a local wilderness trail for hiking, running and outdoor recreation.

Paul V. Glomp III
General Manager
As graduate from Baltimore’s International Culinary College and the European Education Center in the Republic of Ireland; Paul has spent nearly two decades working as the Executive Chef and General Manager at some of the areas most prestigious Country Clubs before assuming the position of General Manager at GUNTRY.
Prior to Paul’s “career change” from Executive Chef to General Manager, Paul held the position of Executive Chef at the Johns Hopkins Club; a Club which is home to over 4,000 members comprised of faculty, alumni and associate members which was founded in 1899. For eight years prior, Paul was the Executive Chef at the Elkridge Club, a Club rich in tradition and filled with Baltimore history, much like the Hopkins Club. Chef Glomp’s previous culinary experience includes the Suburban Club of Baltimore County.
Paul has been very active with several community involvement groups. Donating time and culinary talents to Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
Paul was an active member of the American Culinary Federation 1996 to 2010 and served as President of the Central Maryland Chefs and Cooks Association from 2002 - 2006, and was elected by his colleges to serve a second term as President for the 2009 – 2011 term.
In 2004 Chef Paul Glomp was recognized by The Restaurant Association of Maryland and the Central Maryland Chapter of the American Culinary Federation as their Chef of the Year. Paul was on the Board of Directors for the Greater Baltimore Club Managers Association as President in 2015.
Paul’s passion for cooking and love of hospitality always shines through with his personal touch to every event. Pauls’ current professional commitment has him using his back of the house “attention to detail” to make sure all his members and guests fully enjoy their experience at GUNTRY.
