We hosted our wedding welcome luncheon in the Harbor View Room at Chatham Bars Inn, and it could not have been a more wonderful experience. The space was elegant and light-filled, with the most beautiful view of the water — the perfect way to kick off our wedding weekend. A very special thank you to Amanda Adley, the Catering Sales Manager, who was incredibly communicative, organized, and kind throughout the entire process. She and her team made the setup seamless — from arranging the florals to ensuring our guest gift bags were perfectly placed. The food was outstanding — beautifully prepared and thoughtfully designed to incorporate both Asian and Cape Cod elements, which made it feel deeply personal and memorable. Our guests loved every bite and commented on the service and setting all afternoon. We are so grateful to the Chatham Bars Inn team for making our event feel effortless and so full of joy. It was the perfect start to an unforgettable weekend.

I can't rave enough about the level of service and overall experience that my husband and I received at the Harbor View! As a luxury wedding photographer who has worked with top-tier venues across New England, I had extremely high expectations for our own wedding vendors. Needless to say, the team at the Harbor View did not disappoint! We knew we wanted a full weekend experience for our guests, at a location on the water where everyone could stay and gather throughout the weekend. It was clear from the very beginning that Makenzie and her team were there to help us not only make that happen, but to help create a unique experience that didn't feel like "just another wedding". As our planning evolved over the months leading up, the team was always responsive and helpful with those developments. We had a wonderful experience with the Harbor View leading up to the wedding, but still couldn't have anticipated JUST how incredible the weekend turned out to be. We truly felt like VIP's. The food was incredible, many of our guests extended their stays because they loved it that much, and the hotel truly feels like our little home away from home getaway now. If we could do it all again, we would without a doubt have our wedding at the Harbor View Hotel again! The hotel and team were a highlight of our wedding experience, and we already can't wait to spend many, many anniversaries (and any other excuse we can find) back at the hotel!

I had my wedding at the Seacrest on Friday, September 6th, 2024, and I can’t express how incredibly grateful I am for the experience. Leading up to the big day, I was filled with so much stress and anxiety, hoping for the wedding of my dreams. Thanks to six incredible angels—Erica, Megan, Anna, Derrick, Samira, and Michelle—my wedding surpassed anything I could have imagined. From the moment I arrived, these amazing individuals were there, quietly ensuring that everything ran smoothly in the background. Their dedication and attention to detail were simply extraordinary. They went above and beyond in every way, and I will never forget how they made our day perfect. The venue itself was stunning, with a breathtaking view of the sunset on the beach that provided the most magical backdrop. The food was an absolute 10 out of 10, and the entire staff was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely caring. There isn’t a single thing I would change about our day. It was everything I had ever hoped for and more. To Erica, Megan, Anna, Derrick, Samira, and Michelle—thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our wedding day truly unforgettable. You all are the reason our day was so perfect, and I will cherish these memories forever.

We had a small 20 person summer wedding in the Nickerson mansion. All catering and banquet staff were amazing to work with. Special thanks to Rita K and Gillian Richmond from catering and Fay & M from banquets. These ladies went above and beyond. From Rita’s quick help with booking, Gillian’s patience with all our planning questions and Fay & M offering to literally crawl the front lawn on their hands and knees with a flash light to help find a pair of lost keys after the wedding; we could not be more grateful for their kindness and professionalism. People are still raving about the food and the ceremony on the Lawrence terrace looked better than I could have ever imagined. Thank you all at Ocean Edge for making our day so special.

We just had the most magical wedding at the Lighthouse Inn in West Dennis this September. Kelly, Daniel, and the staff were all fantastic! Our guests loved that the venue felt like authentic, traditional Cape Cod with great food and generous drinks, and we loved being able to get married right in the sand by the ocean. The team was extremely flexible in terms of menu (we had a lot of vegetarian guests), décor, and timeline, and definitely made sure we were fed on the day! We stayed in one of the one-bedroom cottages (plenty of room for me and my three bridesmaids to get ready!) and loved that many of our guests could also stay onsite if they wished to.

The Coonamessett is a great option for dog-friendly hotel rooms or medium-to-large event spaces. We rented the Double Queen Suite for a weekend for our bride and groom’s suite, as it was extremely well-lit and spacious enough for my eight groomsmen to get ready with me. It was a little surprising that a room with such a large common space would have two queen beds instead of a king bed, though. The staff, including housekeeping, did a great job making us feel like guests of honor all weekend long, with a bride and groom welcome setup and several refreshes of the room while we were away. We were also able to book one of the dog-friendly rooms at the last minute, in which my mom stayed with our dog. There was lots of green space on and off the property for our dog to explore on walks. The Coonamessett also hosted our morning-after-the-wedding buffet breakfast, which we coordinated through their special events team five months before the wedding. The food was pretty good, nothing special, but was a little on the pricier side (to be expected for a wedding-related event). Since they weren’t hosting a wedding on-site that weekend, we were able to use the entire ballroom space. A couple hotel guests wandered in and grabbed a plate before we informed them it was a private event. The Coonamessett even opened the bar for our guests (my niece and nephew said the espresso martinis were good!).

Our wedding weekend at Wequassett Resort and Golf Club was absolutely unforgettable. From beginning to end, the entire team was a dream to work with — organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our celebration perfect. The communication throughout the planning process was seamless, and they answered every question, big and small, with patience and care. They made planning feel effortless, helping us customize our catering selections and even accommodating thoughtful substitutions that reflected our tastes and preferences. A heartfelt thank you to Maura Daley, Amy Farrell, and Megan Sugg, who went above and beyond to make our weekend seamless and extraordinary. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail ensured that everything came together beautifully. The wedding day itself was flawlessly orchestrated, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. We also want to extend our gratitude to the entire resort staff for making our stay — and our guests’ stay — so memorable. Every person we interacted with was kind, attentive, and seemed to know our families by name. Our friends and relatives are still talking about how exceptional the service was. The property is truly five-star in every sense. During our wedding weekend, the flowers were in full bloom and the landscaping was immaculate, creating a naturally stunning backdrop that made even our minimal décor feel elegant and complete. Every inch of the resort exudes care, beauty, and refinement. Wequassett exceeded every expectation — not only as a venue, but as a partner in creating a joyful, unforgettable celebration. We will always be grateful to the entire team for bringing our vision to life with such grace and heart.

My quest to find the perfect wedding venue was akin to prince charming's quest to find Cinderella; it took a lot of tries to find just the perfect fit. In my case, I interviewed over 30 venues before I found the most spectacular destination to begin my happily ever after. Nestled in the Pinehills lies new england’s best kept secret; Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth. Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth offers the charm, warmth, and elegance of a boutique french estate as well as world class hospitality and wellness retreat capabilities that rival much larger and well known brands. In 2023 Forbes awarded Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth four stars. I whole heartedly agree with their assessment of this unique property as my experience as both a resort guest and bride-to-be has been nothing short of exemplary. The facilities are immaculate, the grounds picturesque, and the dining best classified as fine dining without a gourmet price tag. When thinking of Mirbeau, two words that come to mind are “delightful” and “seasonal”.The menu in both the dining room and spa are carefully crafted with seasonality in mind. For your first trip to Mirbeau, I highly recommend splurging in the full experience. Treat yourself to a long weekend away with your honey or gal pals. Indulge in more than one treatment in the spa, wear your bathrobe to the dining room and ask for a popover even at lunch. Dessert is a must; you must partake in any of the magical confections prepared by the on-site pastry chef. Plan to sleep in as you are assured a rejuvenating night’s rest in the most comfortable of hotel beds. You won’t be disappointed! When it comes to planning your wedding, know that Suzanne and team are truly invested in your success. Expect generosity, accommodation, and attention to detail throughout the process. They will help you fulfill everything you never knew you always wanted in a wedding and then some. They will pay attention to the details so you don’t have to and execute your big day flawlessly. From the moment I arrived on my wedding weekend to my departure, my family and I were treated like VIPs. I absolutely adored the mimosa at check in and breakfast as well as the thoughtful card and gift basket in my suite. Additionally, I received outstanding feedback from the most difficult of critics; my mother, on her experience working with Suzanne and Taylor in sales and Jim at the front desk. The team did an amazing job accommodating both my mother’s dietary needs and physical restrictions. Some highlights of her stay were her meals, including salmon and lobster salad, as well as her time spent with Taylor on my wedding day. Additionally, I’d like to give mention to the groundskeeping team and service provided by the waitstaff. After a week of non-stop rain and incredible humidity, I was highly impressed with the event execution. The gardens were dry and luscious, the food hot, seasoned to perfection, and thoughtfully garnished. I loved hearing from folks that ordered the vegetarian option that it was “the best we have ever had at a wedding” and from my family friends (also restauranteurs) that they would be “proud to have our daughter married at Mirbeau”. Special thanks to our bridal attendant and server, for taking care of me when I was under the weather and for keeping everyone hydrated!! I was pleased to learn one of my groomsmen thought she deserved "a raise and promotion, immediately". I look forward to celebrating many more of life’s most precious moments at Mirbeau and visiting in the years to come.

I wish I could rate Red Jacket even higher than a 5/5. Everything magical about our wedding weekend was thanks to the unforgettable care, trust, professionalism, and creativity that came from the Red Jacket team. In every instance that we had a vision for our wedding, Red Jacket accommodated exactly what we asked for – and in every case that we hadn't thought of the specifics or were underprepared, Red Jacket came to the rescue with a thoughtful plan to cover the finest of details. The facilities were stunning – as long as you're okay sharing the resort with other visitors – and offered a great getaway treat for our guests on top of the party we had planned. And the food was spectacular too. Most importantly, though, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. Communication was clear, honest, and supportive at every step. Our point of contact Karen Rood was our wedding guardian angel. We owe it all to her.

We booked our July 2025 wedding in June 2024, we toured the hotel in hard hats and took a leap of faith that the resort would fit the needs of our 210 guest wedding. It over delivered!! We were given a night in their HUGE jimmy buffet suite for free and the other night 1/2 off. I used this space as the getting ready room for the bridesmaids/moms/grandmothers. There was PLENTY of space for two hair stylists and two make up artists to work and for those waiting to be seen to sit and enjoy the morning. They gave us a lofted suite for two nights at 1/2 price for the groomsmen/dads/grandpas to get ready and it was fabulous! The guys loved it and said it was perfect. They gave us a discounted room rate for our guests which was great. We did not allow kids at the wedding but many made a family vacation out of the weekend and the kinds enjoyed the insane water park! Our cocktail hour was outside on the patio. We had our band play some acoustic music in the background which Margaritaville had a stage for. The passed apps were delicious and they made my dream of a chicken finger station a reality. The bartenders were great too!! Our reception was amazing!! The 400+ person ballroom gave us plenty of space for a band, a huge dance floor, 28 (yes, TWENTY EIGHT) tables, two bars, and a coffee bar. Everyone had plenty of room, this is so hard to find anywhere in New England, let alone Cape Cod!!! THE FOOOOOOOOD was SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD. Our guests were raving about it and we were too!! We did our tasting in February and chose the cranberry sage stuffed chicken and filet with stuffed shrimp. We did not choose our vegetarian option, but the chef created an incredible cauliflower steak with chimichuri sauce that all people who had it said it was delicious. The food was well beyond anyones expectations. Lastly, we were able to have our guests gather at the end of the night at Landshark Bar and Grill. We had some quesadillas and sliders for our guests and the bar was open. It was a great way to wind down the night!! Overall, Jamie Leydon, is a GEM. She was super responsive and made our dreams come true. I highly recommend working with her! Flowers were Mary Ellen Garnett in Chatham and Photos were Shore Shotz Photography!
