The Dennis Inn, located in Dennis, Massachusetts, welcomes private functions such as weddings in its banquet hall event space. The spectacular venue has been opening its doors for over 35 years to couples looking for a memorable Cap Cod celebration. Committing to only one wedding reception a day, the inn gives couples the freedom to plan their day as they wish with unlimited access to the inn and its grounds.
Facilities and Capacity
The inn is a fantastic place for a weekend wedding, offering a second floor of suites for wedding parties, and the ability to entertain before and after the wedding. Couples may invite up to 250 to celebrate their nuptials, and can have their ceremony poolside or on the outside patio. For indoor options, a main room can use used in case of inclement weather, or in a tented area outside for larger groups.
Services Offered
At the inn, couples can work with event staff to create their perfect wedding day itinerary with the classic Cape Cod feel. Staff strive to create exactly the vision couples want, from the ceremony to the menu to the layout and flow of the event. While cuisine and beverages are offered exclusively by the inn, they do allow outside vendors for other wedding necessities and will happily recommend quality vendors.
Cuisine
Our Exclusive Caterer is Treats Catering. Treats has been serving Cape Cod for over 35 years and is well know for its savory food, innovative offerings and impeccable service standards. Our staff is available to bartend and set up for buffet, family-style, French service, plated, or stationed serving styles. Catering will include barware, flatware, glassware, linens, linens, tables, chairs, and cake cutting.
Accommodations
On the second floor of the inn is a beautiful suite of rooms capable of hosting up to eight guests. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, an entertainment room, and a powder room. Pre- or post-wedding day celebrations can be held in the expansive backyard, which also features an in-ground pool. These suites may also be used as get-ready rooms on the wedding day.

A Remarkable Venue for a Remarkable Day!
My wife and I had our wedding reception at the Dennis Inn last year in July and it was absolutely remarkable! We spent the majority of the week at the inn with our maid of honor, her husband, and my sister and brother-in-law. The accommodations were perfect! The pool was the ultimate hang-out spot as our guests arrived on the cape.
The location is amazing as well! The majority of our guests were able to rent homes within walking distance, and all still had access to the local beaches nearby.
Working with the team at the Dennis Inn was flawless. Janene and Tom catered to our every need (even when we were being a little too high-maintenance lol).
On the day of our wedding, my wife and her bridesmaids used the inn to get ready. The photographer was in awe and was able to capture some beautiful moments pre-ceremony.
After our wedding, we arrived at the Inn via party bus and WOW it was like a movie! There were guests outside playing yard games, mingling, having a blast. The appetizers were PHENOMENAL! My favorite was the bacon-topped scallops. Seriously, incredible. (Also, the raw bar was a perfect touch for a Cape Cod wedding)
The flow of the event was amazing as well. We moved from outside into the side tent for appetizers, through the bar for cocktails, out to the main tent...there was no congestion and people loved it! After dinner we moved back inside for the cutting of the cake and dancing. The dance floor was hopping all night. The bar staff was attentive and friendly. Everything went off without a hitch.
I can't thank the Dennis Inn enough for the absolutely remarkable experience! Our guests all commented on how amazing the venue was. They loved every minute of it.
