Southmoreland on the Plaza is a unique venue for an intimate Kansas City wedding and/or reception. Our facility can accommodate 24 people with events held either indoors in our enclosed verandah and dining room or outdoors on the Southmoreland on the Plaza grounds. We pride ourselves on working with our customers to create a personalized event that will be pleasing to them and their guests. An innkeeper will happily assist you with final arrangements, including seating, setting, food and beverage choices, and all event details.
Facility tours and planning meetings require appointments which are taken seven days a week between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., subject to availability. Evening appointments may be accommodated in certain circumstances.
Facility Rental
Facility rental for wedding and/or reception events is $150 per hour (two-hour minimum), including any guest required set-up time. In order to reserve the facility, a non-refundable fee of 50% of the facility rental (by cash or check) is required.
