For my wedding, we got ready in the Presidential Suite and the Luxury King Suite--BEST ROOMS EVER! Working with Anna and Morgan for the block and the suites to get ready on my wedding day was amazing! The staff was great- they even brought up our Panera that we delivered that morning to both the suites! Anna and Morgan were available anytime I needed to see the suites or had a question I needed answered, they were on it! Also, the remodel of the hotel looks incredible! It is such a convenient hotel to any location on the plaza and nearby! You need to book with the Kansas City Marriott!

Absolutely Grade A customer service! Since day 1, Anna has been amazing. She was on it with details, request, questions, recommendations, etc. She made me feel like I was her top bride, and truly aided me through what could have been a stressful process, but with her help and the Marriott staff, it was great. Tanner (banquet captain), Ron (setup), Jon and Steve (bartenders) were exceptional. Every detail was made perfect because of this dynamic staff.

My guest were thoroughly impressed with the hotel. It has a modern look and feel. The rooms were really nice. Our bridal suite was AMAZING with great views of the plaza.

I highly recommend the Marriott for your wedding! The Anna and her staff will take great care of you!

Anna was the amazing angle of our reception! She and her whole staff went above and beyond for every request! She not only covered every detail, she provided us with valuable ideas to make our wedding special. Her staff called is by name and made us feel at home. We had requested a private area for my groom and I to dine alone during cocktail hour before we were announced. Not only did our private dining room include our meal of choice but a fully decorated table that matched our reception, staffed with 2 private servers, introduced us to all the managers that evening in case we needed anything and she was not available. Unbelievable! Also noteworthy, the entire hotel has been updated/remodeled in the last year and gorgeous! I would highly recommend the Marriott Country Club Plaza if you're looking for an amazingly phonemonally memorable turn-key event with no worry or stress! I would trust Anna and her entire staff with any large event, truly an amazing experience!

Anna was an absolute dream to work with! Needless to say, our situation was different from most on how we came about our wedding at The Marriott, but from beginning to end Anna worked with us to make sure everything was how we wanted it. She was very easy to get ahold of when we needed her and was there the night of our rehearsal as well as the night of our wedding. We even had a gift in our room when we arrived after words. The Marriott was a beautiful venue and we were lucky to have both our ceremony and our reception in the Grand Ballroom! Thank you to all the workers who were so kind to both us and our guests. I would recommend the Marriott to anyone!

Wow! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Anna and the wedding team at the Marriott on the Country Club Plaza! THIS TEAM KNOWS HOW TO DO WEDDINGS WITH EXCELLENCE! We had our reception in the grand ballroom with cocktail hour beforehand in the foyer (ceremony was at a church). The planning was super easy because Anna had everything organized for me. I had ZERO worries that something would go haywire. They have set menus and bar packages which makes it easy to choose, but they will do something special or different if you need. You know EXACTLY what you are spending. No surprises on my final bill.

The food was great. I had many many comments about how wonderful the meal was. No coordinating multiple vendors for me as well. I LOVED that! There are LOTS of things that are just included with the services there which I really liked such as the room itself, dance floor, candle centerpieces (you can use your own if you want or they will add something you provide to make it match your colors, etc.), cake cutting & serving, all tableware, linens, ALL setup and tear down. Nice big restrooms. Never a line in the ladies room. The front desk handed out gift bags (that we put together) to guests when checking in. The bellman even transferred our gifts from the reception area to a designated guest room. The only thing I can think of that is NOT included is parking. We chose to pay for our guests' parking so the front desk handed out vouchers and we were billed later, BUT you can have your guests pay themselves if you want.

We had our wedding reception at the Marriott and found everyone on the staff to be wonderful to work with. Everything was perfectly planned and went as we expected -- we didn't have to worry about a thing all night. On top of that, everyone we and our guests encountered was so friendly and helpful. From the doormen and the front desk clerks to the waiters and bartenders at the reception, we heard wonderful stories from our guests about the excellent customer service at the Marriott.

They gave me rooms close to each other and accommodated a little later check out time.

Overall, we really enjoyed this vendor. The issue we had was that we signed a contract with the impression that the hotel we were getting was going to be the one we agreed upon. The hotel was still under massive amounts of construction (i.e. the hotel lobby was a side ballroom instead of the beautiful one that we agreed upon), amongst other areas. It really limited the picture opportunities on site, and really diminished the quality of our wedding. We understand that renovations occur, but we believe we should have been told that that was a possibility when signing our contract.

That being said, Anna was a wonderful individual to work with. We had plenty of help, and ease of mind going through the process. She truly thought of everything. I would take her any and everywhere I would host a wedding.
