Now called Charlie's Bridal, this little shop in Kernersville was so welcoming and made it so easy to find my beautiful dress! Courtney and Lara welcomed us in with hot chocolate and coffee, and we had the whole store to ourselves for the appointment! Courtney and I walked the shop picking out each dress that I thought I might like. After I choose some, my mom, MIL and MOH got to walk the store and choose any they wanted me to try on as well. I did have doubts about how many dresses we would find because the store was not huge, but we found so many great options! None of us even chose the dress I ended up falling in love with ..... Courtney made a recommendation of a dress I didn't originally choose based on what I did like on other dresses, and it was perfect! I felt like such a princess standing in front of the big mirrors with my dress, veil and jewelry! The week of the wedding, Charlie's took care of steaming my dress for me. I went back to Charlie's for an accessories appointment to pick out jewelry and a beautiful hair piece. We also ordered my husband's and our groomsmen's tuxes here. They did not have the men's outfits in the store to try on, but they took very thorough measurements and the guys all looked great. Tuxes came in the week of, the guys got to go try them on, and if needed, last minute changes could be made. This was very convenient because we had 2 out of state groomsmen who would not have been able to come into the store for measurements. They were able to text their measurements in. Charlie's also did a great job of texting every so often to check in and see if there was anything they could help us with. Such a welcoming and helpful group of women! Courtney was amazing to work with!

It was an amazing experience from start to finish at Southern Bride! To start with, they help prepare a couple of dresses before my appointment that were ready when I arrived. They truly listened to what I liked and disliked to help find the perfect dress for my special day. Lara helped make a wonderful experience to find the dress for me! Then we had time with my guests to celebrate, enjoy some champagne, and relax. Couldn’t recommend Southern Bride more!

I came in looking for a wedding dress and I was blown away by the customer service. They were all so sweet and helpful. They answered all our questions and made sure I was taken care of. Courtney was like the friend you didn’t know you had. I say that because she’s so nice that I felt like I’ve known her for a while. Their dresses are beautiful and affordable. The dress I choose is so beautiful. I didn’t pick my dress, Courtney did! When she first brought it to me, it wasn’t the style I had been looking for, so I didn’t think I would like it. I really only tried to to be nice lol. I was seriously mistaken!!!! Courtney has an eye for what she does. The moment I put the dress on I was in love. The way it moved and the way it fit was perfect. I’m so glad we decided to go to Southern Bride!

The best bridal shop with the best people! Courtney was such a huge help in helping me find my dream dress! She has outstanding customer service and knowledge of all the gowns they carry to know exactly what to pull! I had the best experience and loved every second!

My girls and I had such a lovely experience. It was very private and intimate and they gave us champagne and a nice gift! Courtney worked with me on the price of my dress so that I could have the dream dress I wanted, and they had a smaller but unique selection! Alterations are done in house and it was easy to set up time for that as well! Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I would recommend to anyone!

I thought I knew what I wanted in a dress until I put it on my body. I was so unsure after I tried on what I considered to be my “dream dress”. Courtney helped me to branch out and eventually find the perfect dress! She was so attentive and patient. I’m so glad I got to work with her.
