Charlie's Bridal made finding my dream dress so easy!

Now called Charlie's Bridal, this little shop in Kernersville was so welcoming and made it so easy to find my beautiful dress! Courtney and Lara welcomed us in with hot chocolate and coffee, and we had the whole store to ourselves for the appointment! Courtney and I walked the shop picking out each dress that I thought I might like. After I choose some, my mom, MIL and MOH got to walk the store and choose any they wanted me to try on as well. I did have doubts about how many dresses we would find because the store was not huge, but we found so many great options! None of us even chose the dress I ended up falling in love with ..... Courtney made a recommendation of a dress I didn't originally choose based on what I did like on other dresses, and it was perfect! I felt like such a princess standing in front of the big mirrors with my dress, veil and jewelry! The week of the wedding, Charlie's took care of steaming my dress for me. I went back to Charlie's for an accessories appointment to pick out jewelry and a beautiful hair piece. We also ordered my husband's and our groomsmen's tuxes here. They did not have the men's outfits in the store to try on, but they took very thorough measurements and the guys all looked great. Tuxes came in the week of, the guys got to go try them on, and if needed, last minute changes could be made. This was very convenient because we had 2 out of state groomsmen who would not have been able to come into the store for measurements. They were able to text their measurements in. Charlie's also did a great job of texting every so often to check in and see if there was anything they could help us with. Such a welcoming and helpful group of women! Courtney was amazing to work with!

Amazing Experience

It was an amazing experience from start to finish at Southern Bride! To start with, they help prepare a couple of dresses before my appointment that were ready when I arrived. They truly listened to what I liked and disliked to help find the perfect dress for my special day. Lara helped make a wonderful experience to find the dress for me! Then we had time with my guests to celebrate, enjoy some champagne, and relax. Couldn’t recommend Southern Bride more!

Exceeded my expectations!

I came in looking for a wedding dress and I was blown away by the customer service. They were all so sweet and helpful. They answered all our questions and made sure I was taken care of. Courtney was like the friend you didn’t know you had. I say that because she’s so nice that I felt like I’ve known her for a while. Their dresses are beautiful and affordable. The dress I choose is so beautiful. I didn’t pick my dress, Courtney did! When she first brought it to me, it wasn’t the style I had been looking for, so I didn’t think I would like it. I really only tried to to be nice lol. I was seriously mistaken!!!! Courtney has an eye for what she does. The moment I put the dress on I was in love. The way it moved and the way it fit was perfect. I’m so glad we decided to go to Southern Bride!

The BEST experience!

The best bridal shop with the best people! Courtney was such a huge help in helping me find my dream dress! She has outstanding customer service and knowledge of all the gowns they carry to know exactly what to pull! I had the best experience and loved every second!

Simply Magical!

My girls and I had such a lovely experience. It was very private and intimate and they gave us champagne and a nice gift! Courtney worked with me on the price of my dress so that I could have the dream dress I wanted, and they had a smaller but unique selection! Alterations are done in house and it was easy to set up time for that as well! Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I would recommend to anyone!

I loved Southern Bride!

I thought I knew what I wanted in a dress until I put it on my body. I was so unsure after I tried on what I considered to be my “dream dress”. Courtney helped me to branch out and eventually find the perfect dress! She was so attentive and patient. I’m so glad I got to work with her.

The BEST time!

The perfect experience

Emma made my wedding dress shopping experience so special & one to remember. She immediately calmed my nerves by explaining the process & made me feel like I had another friend shopping with me! Loved every minute

I booked the private room so my ladies could relax while we shopped. They sipped on mimosas and nibbled on fruits and chocolates. Courtney took her time and really listened to what I had to say. I struggled to put my thoughts into words, but she helped me find the perfect dress for me.

Do yourself a favor and go here first!

Southern Bride was my first shop that I made an appointment with to look for my wedding dress. I had other appointments with other bridal shops thinking it would take me some time to fine “the one”. As soon as I walked through the door I saw my dress and knew that was the one! I am head over heels in love and I cannot wait for my fiancé to see me in this dress on our wedding day. Maddie, Katie, and the other staff at this shop were fabulous. I have already recommended them to two other friends who are newly engaged! Thank you so much for everything ❤️

I had a great time picking out my dress. The communication before my appointment was amazing, and Cassidy really took the time to give me a personalized experience. I am typically uncomfortable when shopping, but she put me at ease and ultimately helped me say “yes” to my dress.

Best bridal experience ever!! I’ve been to other places, but I’ve never felt so welcomed, valued, and secure in myself than this location!

I booked my appointment the same day! Courtney is the BEST consultant! She texted me and asked for inspiration, ideas, what I liked, ideas, etc. when I arrived, Courtney helped me pick out some dresses and pushed me out of my comfort zone and I’m so glad she did! She picked out my DREAM DRESS!! I’m picky!!! It was in my budget after she pulled some strings and helped everything work out! I couldn’t be more happy.

What a fun experience! Southern Bride has thought of everything! From a welcoming environment, great air conditioning, a great and size inclusive selection, cute photo ops, and a wide variety of price points, I truly cannot imagine anyone not being able to find a pleasant experience here. Laysha, the consultant who helped me was knowledgeable, empathetic, warm, funny, and all around made me and my mother and sister feel excited and comfortable. So thankful for this memory to add to my cherished wedding planning moments! And on top of it all, I found the perfect dress!

Unparalleled experience

Highly recommend Southern Bride! The space is beautiful and inviting, they have a fantastic selection of gowns, and ALL the staff is friendly and helpful.

Kati especially, worked closely with me to help me find the perfect dress! She is knowledgeable and patient and so encouraging!

Their sale prices are also phenomenal. I got my perfect dress for 51% off the original sticker price!!

Emily is the best

I cannot say enough amazing things about Emily at Southern Bride. I came here on the first day of their National Sale (which you cannot beat the sale prices they had). I came here after another dress appointment and I thought I already had my dress picked out at the other place, and I picked out a few mermaid/trumpet dresses. I felt like nothing was looking right on me and Emily kept asking me what did I like or dislike about each dress. Her and my maid of honor were just feeding off of what I gave them and went back and forth finding dresses that kept adding what I liked. We found a dress that had everything, but it was white. So she finds it in a champagne color and I cried. I thought the crying part of dress shopping was so dramatic, but GIRLS, DON'T SETTLE UNTIL YOU FIND THE DRESS THAT ILLICITS EMOTION.

Emily was so patient with me, really listened to what I was looking for, and found me a perfect fit and flare dress which wasn't what I thought I wanted, until it was. She also gave me options for headpieces and advice on alterations and was on it from the time I walked into the store until I left with a stupid smile on my face. I can't wait to see the stupid smile he'll have when I walk down the aisle with it.

Amazing from start to finish!

I am still in shock from yesterday’s appointment. I came in for my first ever try-on with my only intention being to get an idea of what I liked and how much my dream dress would be. From the minute I walked in, my consultant Cassidy, was so sweet and bubbly; taking the time to listen to what I liked and helping me in and out of dresses. I tried on several that I thought were the look I was going for, until I took my MIL’s advice and tried on something out of my comfort zone. IT WAS THE ONE. Cassidy got accessories for me to tie it all together and worked up an amazing deal that I couldn’t pass up, and just like that, I walked out of my first ever appointment with my wedding dress!!! I can’t wait to come back and get my alterations done and continue working with Southern Bride to get me ready to walk down the isle!!!

Speechless and the best ever

The most friendly staff and a wide variety of dresses! I was so torn about finding a dress and Courtney was so patient with me and truly helped talk me through a lot. Once in a lifetime experience

Jamie and Katie made my appointment so amazing! From the minute me and my party arrived we were taken care of. I was able to take my time picking out what dresses I wanted to try on and Jamie even convinced me to try on some I didn’t think I would like but actually became one of my favorites! dress shopping here was A DREAM!

I had an AMAZING experience at Southern Bride. Gabrielle made my time dress shopping so easy and fun. I loved that the space was open, but was also private with each bride and her party getting their own little seating and try on area. They even provided sparkling cider and a sweet gift bag for me. Cassidy at SOUTHERN BRIDE was a great help! I had a wonderful experience and found my wedding dress because with all my bridesmaids and mom helping to come up with the one, Cassidy saw what I wanted in a dress with the others and found the one. This place has so many gorgeous dresses to choose from. I personally hate trying on clothes, but Lily was so sweet and made the process super fun! She asked me exactly what I wanted, made me feel beautiful in every dress I tried on, and shared my excitement when I found the one. All the ladies there are exceptional. Amazing Experience

I had been to a few other bridal shops before we finally found this wonderful place. First of all, the staff was amazing. As soon as we walked in the door we felt at home & taken care of. Courtney was so thorough, patient & helpful. She truly listened to my idea of what I liked and didn't like. But was also great about getting me to try new things I didn't think I would like. The dress I finally picked was one that she picked for me after seeing what I did & didn't like. I brought my mom, 2 sisters & niece with me, we all had the best experience at Southern Bride. They also have in house alterations, MOB & MOG dresses, bridesmaids dresses, tuxes & prom dresses!! So it's a one stop shop! The cherry on top was popping champagne with my girls & finally saying 'yes to the dress'. If you are looking for a dress for any occasion this is your place!

Jamie was my dress consultant at Southern Bride and she did fabulous!!! I felt so comfortable asking her questions and getting solid advice from Jamie. She helped me diligently for almost three hours and had the best attitude! Jamie’s advice helped me “say yes to the dress”

Gabrielle was AMAZING and helped me find the PERFECT dress for my big day! Before my appointment she had me send her ideas of what I wanted. She listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure I was completely happy with my choices. She went over every detail and even checked in with me afterward to see if I had any questions. Kati has gone above and beyond in helping me find the perfect dress and in helping my bridesmaids pay for their dresses and get sized. I can’t say enough good things about Southern Bride! We were assisted mainly by Sara, and she was phenomenal!! I told her my budget and she honored it. She never once tried to be pushy, and only showed me dresses that were in my budget. She contacted me before my bridal dress appointment to get ideas and pictures of what I liked before I came in. They were all very accommodating to my guests as well. And after we got my dress she was in contact with me about my bridesmaids dresses and flower girl dresses. All of her co-workers were also very attentive and helpful as well! Sara and her entire team made the process so easy. I would highly recommend them for all of your wedding attire needs!

Best customer service I have ever experienced. I was nervous going in so I was sweating bullets literally. Maribeth did not judge me for my sweatiness lol. She just continued to help me find the dress of my dreams. Everyone there was beyond awesome and wasn’t pushy or try to sale me something “ just because”. Mary Beth at Southern Bride is amazing! A couple days before my appointment she asked me a few questions about what I was looking for and what my size was so she could have some dresses already pulled for me. Once I got to my appointment I was able to try on a handful of dresses right away. She picked the perfect dresses and I ended up not even needing to look on my own. She also showed me some beautiful earrings that I bought to go with the dress. I’m a very happy Mother of the Bride.

I first went to David's Bridal knowing it's a big box stores if I dont find something anywhere else I could come back right? Well horrible experience in what to pick from, and service was not the best......next day was my appointment with Southern Bride!...and let me tell you how amazing it was!
From the point I walked in it was an AMAZING experience. I was asked about my appointment I had arranged prior, went through a couple of questions as to what I'm looking for and then it was off to looking around. The selection is amazing, it's like walking into a wonderland, I was walking on cloud 9.
I tried on my first dress and knew it was the one! To satisfy my mother I tried on a couple more but always came back to "THE ONE" much better pricing than the box stores.
Better people to work with, the day flew by because she made it so easy for me. Best place hands down for anyone looking for a stunning dress...I can't wait till my wedding day! My dress is drop dead gorgeous!!

Stopped in today and they were very busy and ran about 5 minutes behind for my appointment. Once we got started trying on I found 2 dresses that would have worked. I had a budget of $2000 and I ended up getting my dress + a sparkle belt for less than $500! Was fantastic to find an awesome dress and for a fantastic price too. Really enjoyed working with Southern Bride. They had a nice selection, were professional and I appreciated the budget friendly prices! We also used their in-house tailor for alterations and they were quick, professional and extremely budget friendly. She is a retired home economics teacher. Highly recommend.

I loved this dress venue and loved the small town charm that I am used to. I was helped by a few women with my dress and was able to make payments on it and even received a military discount due to my husband being active military. I would recommend this to anyone.

Wow! My appointment was everything I expected it to be and more! I live about 45 minutes away but it was TOTALLY worth the drive. The staff was wonderful and kept my ideas and view in mind while they were picking dresses but they also pulled a few that they thought would work with my personality and style. I am actually leaning toward the one they picked for me! I have already made my second appointment to hopefully make the final decision! I can't tell you how great it felt to be doing something so important and somewhat personal and having people welcome you in and make you comfortable as if you were family. Southern Bride was suggested to me through my wedding vendor, Bella Collina. I had looked several places for my wedding dress and there was nothing that said "this is the one". I scheduled an appointment with Southern Bride and went to find the perfect dress. I tried on many dresses there, which were absolutely stunning but nothing still wasnt "popping" out at me. I was getting to the end of my appointment and my sister said "there's a dress in the window, lets try it". I went in the fitting room, placed the gown on and I knew immediately that this was the dress for me. I hadn't even seen it on in the mirror but I knew it was the ONE. Vicky and all the staff at Southern Bride did an amazing job. There few a few hiccups in my dress and some things to be fixed but I have to say they did everything they could and in a appropriate time to fix everything and make it perfect. I thank them so much for helping me pick the most stunning wedding gown. It was not only perfect but it wasn't something I saw on other brides, it was one of a kind in my eyes.

The ladies at Southern Bride were so helpful in assisting me with picking out my dream gown. I was put in a dress that I NEVER would've picked on my own and as soon as I stepped into it I knew it was meant just for me. They did a great job listening to my vision, my preferences, and my feedback as I tried on different dresses and I could've never found my perfect gown without their help. Their alterations lady is also WONDERFUL and made my dress fit like a glove. She also added a beautiful three point bustle in the back. I absolutely loved working with these ladies. Everyone of the ladies working in the store made you feel like family. Vicki Hendrix is AMAZING! She took so much time getting to know me and know about my wedding in order to find a dress that matched every single element. These ladies were so wonderful! They helped me find the perfect dress that both looks amazing and made my mom and I happy (which wasn't any easy feat since we have different styles)! They were kind and treated us like family! I highly recommend them!

These ladies at southern bride are amazing! Not only do they find the style you want but they get you to try on other styles to make sure you find the perfect one! I was in there for two hours and not once did I feel rushed. They are all about the bride! I would definitely choose southern bride again and recommend it to anyone!

Southern Bride and Vicki were amazing. Went in thinking I wanted one type of dress and walked out with something opposite and more amazing than I could have dreamed about! Thank you for all your help and the amazing experience we had finding my dream dress!!

Southern Bride did an amazing job! They gave honest feedback and worked to find a dress that made me happy and looked beautiful. They knew what styles would be flattering to my body type and helped find a gorgeous dress in our price range. The staff is so sweet and were all very professional. We ordered my wedding gown and suits for the men. They worked with the guys who were all shapes and sizes and made sure everything fit well before the big day. My sister got married 14 years ago and got her dress from Southern Bride. I am so glad I did too!

Southern Bride was the best place for me to find a dress! They are so friendly and willing to help. Finding a wedding dress was one of the most important things- and SB allowed me to take my time to try different styles on! They also allowed me to stay in the dress I chose for quite a while so I could make sure I made the right decision. The staff is wonderful and I absolutely LOVE this place. Highly recommend!!!

I found my dream wedding gown this past weekend at Southern Brides. The ladies there were excellent and so much fun to work with. They truly made me feel special and I high recommend Southern Brides to anyone! They have a great selection of bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, flower girls, tuxedo's etc. :)

I am the mother of the bride and from the moment we walked through the door of Southern Bride I knew we had made the right decision. The staff are gracious, knowledgable, and professional. Vicki Hendrix sat with my daughter to find out exactly what she was looking for and to also understand the tone set for the upcoming wedding. Several dresses were selected and yes we found the perfect dress! An appointment is needed but this gem of a store is worth the visit.

Looked for this dress all over the country and finally found it hiding in Yadkinville at Southern Bride! The staff were amazing and really worked hard to help schedule my fittings in my hectic work schedule. Patsy does amazing alterations and her prices are so inexpensive for the work that she does that I thought she had miscalculated my bill.

Everyone there extremely helpful and makes it fun and easy. Beautiful selection no matter what your taste. Worked with alterations and got my dress ready with short notice. Small town service is here and just what you need for any formal attire.

I really liked shopping at this cute bridal boutique. Deanne is the manager and very professional. She was very responsive to my questions and very flexible with schedule. I have recommended this vendor to all of my friends getting married.

I loved loved loved this place! All workers are friendly and very helpful! They always make you feel beautiful and special! I miss seeing all the ladies, I just can't wait to have another reason to go back! I love how it's a small business ran by locals and not some huge company!
