The South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is a classic and romantic wedding venue in Temecula, California. Here you can soak in the sun while saying “I do” amidst 63 acres of grapevines and Tuscan-influenced architecture. Nestled in the wine country of Southern California, this location is ideal for a cultivated and comfortable wedding.
Facilities and Capacity
Including space for a dance floor, the venue’s largest outdoor space in the courtyard can accommodate up to 300 guests. Inside in the ballroom, up to 400 individuals can sip wine and dance as they celebrate your and your partner’s commitment. The South Coast Winery Resort & Spa contains a multitude of spaces for both ceremonies and receptions, catering to different sized nuptials and preferences. Vow exchanges can be set at the Rose Arbor or the Bell Tower, while there are four reception areas throughout the property.
Services Offered
To prepare for your nuptials or simply for a place to unwind, enjoy a massage or skin treatment in the winery’s GrapeSeed Spa. Then spend the night dozing peacefully in the resort’s accommodation. When preparing the venue for your wedding, take advantage of the winery’s mirrors or votives to add a dose of elegance to your own centerpieces. In addition, table numbers can be provided to aid you in organizing the reception layout. Professional wait staff provide exceptional dinner service to you and your guests. The resort’s expert staff facilitate the cuisine and bar services for a wedding full of delectable dishes to satisfy your loved ones’ appetites.
Cuisine
Fine food is a hallmark of a sophisticated wedding. At this winery, you can choose either a seated or buffet-style meal with a selection of sumptuous vegetable and meat dishes. For drinks, you can avail of the winery’s own selection in addition to a range of beers. Both a champagne toast and wine at dinner can be served to your guests for a feeling of refinement.

South Coast Winery Resort & Spa boasts both comfortable villas and suites for you and your guests. Villas include secluded patios and luxurious tubs to soak and relax in before or after your wedding. Best venue and coordinators ever
First, Katlin Holland at Everly & Co. was amazing to work with. Not only is she a joy to be around, but she handles everything with such grace and ease. She always makes you feel calm and made everything go seamlessly! I threw so many things at Katlin last minute, and she never complained or told me that something wasn't possible. On the day of, everything went without a hitch and we could not be more thankful for everything Katlin did for us. If you are looking for a wedding planner in the Temecula area, she is your girl.
Next, Claudia Perez at South Coast was one of the reasons we chose the venue in the first place. She gave us a tour within an hour's notice, and answered every single question and then some. She is so sweet and made us feel so comfortable. Her communication was always quick and she was able to work with us on everything. On the day of, she went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was everything we wanted it to be. We had so so many compliments on our wedding and the food is INCREDIBLE. Also, should out to Alex at South Coast for being amazing!!

Gorgeous Venue!
Our main coordinator was Leann Casey, and we ADORE her! From the moment we met, we knew that we were in the best hands and that she would make sure our wedding was perfect from start to finish. She was there with us every step of the way, even after an exciting promotion meant that she wasn't as involved with weddings any longer! We are so lucky that we got the chance to meet her when we did and grateful that she stayed with us through the wedding!
Overall, all of the South Coast staff are incredibly accommodating, friendly and wonderful to have around on your special day. If you want to get hitched somewhere that is stunningly gorgeous and that will make you feel so special, look no further!
Best decision ever!
Four months before the wedding, we had the chance to do a tasting and select the menu and wines for our guests, and we truly felt like VIPs. The food was incredible! It was a huge plus that there’s a restaurant on-site, which meant no need for a ghost kitchen or pre-cooked catering. Compared to other venues, South Coast Winery also has a reasonable food and beverage minimum (including rentals), and they even provide two suites for two nights as part of the wedding package. On the big day, everything went off without a hitch. Our South Coast coordinator, Alejandra, was fantastic and made sure everything ran smoothly. She even whisked us around in a golf cart, which saved us so much time during cocktail hour and sunset photos!
The venue itself is breathtaking at any time of day—whether it’s during the day, at golden hour, or at night with the string lights. The way the sun filters through to the courtyard is just perfect. The food tasted just as amazing as it did during the tasting, and many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! Our buffet featured chicken, salmon, steak, and a prime rib upgrade. And then there were the drinks! We had an open bar, and the bartenders were fantastic. Our signature drink was a blueberry margarita, and one friend joked, “The signature drink had no business being that strong!” Let’s just say everyone had a blast—maybe a little too much!
Overall, I can’t recommend South Coast Winery enough. The venue is stunning, the staff is exceptional, the value is unbeatable, and the food is delicious. It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

The BEST venue for a simple Indian Wedding
Our wedding was the first large Indian wedding the venue had done, and they did a phenomenal job. Everything went so perfectly and the venue is so beautiful on its own that we didn't have to try hard at all to make our photos come out the way we wanted.
The best experience
**also, i never looked at south coast the first time around venue hunting due to the $$$ (higher than most venues I was looking at) and had seen that the $$ went as high as $50,000, so didnt want to look and fall in love with something that much. But we found that once we looked at it, the price was right on par and even less than the other wineries we were looking at
