    Gorgeous Venue!

    We got married at South Coast Winery on 11/02/24 and it was GORGEOUS! We had our ceremony at the Rose Arbor and our reception in the Courtyard. It was beautiful in every way, and we could not be happier. We had fallen in love with the Rose Arbor area during a Valentines Day getaway at the hotel and were beyond psyched to get married there!

    Our main coordinator was Leann Casey, and we ADORE her! From the moment we met, we knew that we were in the best hands and that she would make sure our wedding was perfect from start to finish. She was there with us every step of the way, even after an exciting promotion meant that she wasn't as involved with weddings any longer! We are so lucky that we got the chance to meet her when we did and grateful that she stayed with us through the wedding!

    Overall, all of the South Coast staff are incredibly accommodating, friendly and wonderful to have around on your special day. If you want to get hitched somewhere that is stunningly gorgeous and that will make you feel so special, look no further!

    Best decision ever!

    We had the most amazing wedding at South Coast Winery! After visiting over ten venues across Southern California, we ultimately chose South Coast Winery, which shows just how selective we were. We wanted a stunning venue that was dog-friendly, offered outdoor ceremony and reception spaces, had on-site accommodations, and featured plenty of greenery. South Coast Winery checked all these boxes and was the clear winner for us.

    Four months before the wedding, we had the chance to do a tasting and select the menu and wines for our guests, and we truly felt like VIPs. The food was incredible! It was a huge plus that there’s a restaurant on-site, which meant no need for a ghost kitchen or pre-cooked catering. Compared to other venues, South Coast Winery also has a reasonable food and beverage minimum (including rentals), and they even provide two suites for two nights as part of the wedding package. On the big day, everything went off without a hitch. Our South Coast coordinator, Alejandra, was fantastic and made sure everything ran smoothly. She even whisked us around in a golf cart, which saved us so much time during cocktail hour and sunset photos!

    The venue itself is breathtaking at any time of day—whether it’s during the day, at golden hour, or at night with the string lights. The way the sun filters through to the courtyard is just perfect. The food tasted just as amazing as it did during the tasting, and many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! Our buffet featured chicken, salmon, steak, and a prime rib upgrade. And then there were the drinks! We had an open bar, and the bartenders were fantastic. Our signature drink was a blueberry margarita, and one friend joked, “The signature drink had no business being that strong!” Let’s just say everyone had a blast—maybe a little too much!

    Overall, I can’t recommend South Coast Winery enough. The venue is stunning, the staff is exceptional, the value is unbeatable, and the food is delicious. It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

    10 stars for South Coast Winery!

    I got married in May 2024 at South Coast Winery in Temecula CA. I couldn't be more happy with how the day turned out! I chose this venue due to the European feel and beautiful greenery throughout, and the venue delivered my vision and more! The best part of the venue is everything is onsite- ceremony, reception, hotel for guest, overall spacious creating an experience for the guest. SCW includes a shuttle for the guest on the wedding day and that was extremely helpful.

    My Catering Sales Manager was Samantha Cordera-DeCaro who was my POC throughout the panning process. I cannot say enough good things about working with Samantha- Great communication, suggestions, organization, and very pleasant to work with. Seriously amazing at what she does and had my complete trust in her!

    The chef and catering team were also extremely accommodating to dietary restrictions. My husband can't eat any dairy or eggs and they were very considerate and even made dairy/egg free bread!

    Andrew from South Coast winery was such a delight to work with! He responded to all my emails promptly and was on top of every single detail. He always had a smile on, and I was always so excited to see him. He made this venue perfect!

    Dream Summer Wedding Reception!

    When it came to picking a venue for our local wedding reception, South Coast Winery was the perfect match for us as this is where we first met! They had multiple locations to choose from both for ceremony and reception. We loved the open space of the Bell Tower area and how there were so many different layouts you could design for your seating chart. One of the best things about South Coast was their wedding packages and how the tables, chairs, linens, food, bar, catering staff, and hotel stay were all part of the package. It really made the whole planning process easier for us to only worry about bringing in our additional vendors for specific details. The communication between Andrew, Dara, and their team was on-point throughout the planning process and with our wedding coordinator up to and especially on the day of our wedding reception. We appreciated their input, advice, and working with us to accommodate special requests we wanted to incorporate (THANK YOU!). Everything worked out seamlessly and we could not be more pleased, we are still getting compliments from our guests about how beautiful it was!

    An absolute dream come true venue!

    This review has been a long time coming. We were married at South Coast on 06/25/22 and there is not enough room on this review for me to truly convey how absolutely incredible this venue was to us. We had a rather large wedding with many moving parts and our venue coordinator, Claudia, made it all look easy. From our very first meeting, we knew that South Coast was our venue. We wanted to bring in a ton of vendors and had a lot of ideas, none of which made Claudia even think twice. She was so receptive, responsive and overall so good to us. Our wedding was an absolute dream and there was not one single thing that I would have changed. 6 months later and our guest still comment on what an amazing time they had at our wedding, mostly because of the venue and staff. I really could go on forever but if you are looking for a venue that is beautiful, flexible and an absolute dream from start to finish, this is it. CLAUDIA WE LOVE YOU!

    The BEST venue for a simple Indian Wedding

    Claudia and her team were so amazing to work with. We started planning in the midst of the pandemic, and despite all the complications from that, the venue was so accommodating to us and what we needed.

    Our wedding was the first large Indian wedding the venue had done, and they did a phenomenal job. Everything went so perfectly and the venue is so beautiful on its own that we didn't have to try hard at all to make our photos come out the way we wanted.

    The best experience

    You would not regret South Coast for your wedding!! We were originally at a different winery in Temecula (booked pre COVID for June 2021) and due to that venue cancelling on us, we had to find a new venue and South Coast was 10x better than our original venue! Andrew and Claudia are absolutely amazing and both so passionate about what they are doing. Claudia is so incredibly patient and so wonderful at everything she does! She answered every single one of my emails extremely fast and every "hiccup" that came up along the way in planning, her and her team were quick to correct it and make sure everything we had planned for went off perfectly. She was even able to deal with one of my hard-to-deal-with family members with so much patience. Everything was coordinated as well as it could have and the whole event went as smooth as possible. and THE FOOD. OMG we still have guests telling us that it was the best food theyve ever had at a wedding. We also had a lot of family stay the whole weekend and we all loved staying at the resort and not having to leave for the whole weekend! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND and wish we could do it all over again!

    **also, i never looked at south coast the first time around venue hunting due to the $$$ (higher than most venues I was looking at) and had seen that the $$ went as high as $50,000, so didnt want to look and fall in love with something that much. But we found that once we looked at it, the price was right on par and even less than the other wineries we were looking at

    Excellent!

    Claudia coordinated the most perfect and beautiful micro wedding for us. She listened to every detail that we wanted to make our day special. She made sure that the day flowed smoothly and worked directly with our other vendors. And the rose garden arbor was gorgeous!

    Beautiful venue for a winery wedding

    We recently got married at South Coast winery (8/1/2020) and everything went really well. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, we only had 30 guests and a very small ceremony. Claudia Perez (Catering manager), Christina Hodges (Event Service Specialist) and their staff were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. Our original wedding venue caught a fire so a month before our wedding date we had to find another venue (and we had already postponed it from March due to COVID). From the moment I contacted them, they were very helpful in helping us plan things there a month before the wedding. They also followed all COVID-19 guidelines and made sure it was a safe ceremony for everyone. They had hand sanitizer stations throughout the property and their staff wore masks and gloves at all times. We stayed at the Mountain Bridal Suite and it was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I can't wait to go back there again in a few years to renew our vows. Highly recommend this wedding venue to anyone who is looking for a beautiful SoCal Winery wedding.

    Love this place

    I am so happy we went with southcoast winery for our wedding venue. This place is absolutely beautiful and the staff is amazing . We worked with Christine, who is a sweetheart and really helped everything come together . She also had some great recommendations for the reception. Love her and the rest of the SCW staff

    Best winery venue ever!

    We had our wedding ceremony and reception at South Coast Winery in August 2019 and could not have asked for a better venue! We actually booked our wedding with the winery based purely on reviews and word of mouth; we did not even see the venue until two months before the wedding! Everything from the vineyard views, ceremony and reception sites (the rose arbor is gorgeous!) to the hotel rooms, event staff, food and WINE was amazing. The villa that is included with the wedding package is fantastic and HUGE – we had so much room for getting ready and the room was right next to the ceremony site which meant the wedding party did not have to travel far! Christine was our wedding coordinator and she was INCREDIBLE. She is so friendly, flexible, professional, knowledgeable and detail-oriented that I honestly don’t know how I would have pulled off our wedding without her. She is super responsive to questions and was so sweet when I would bombard her with emails on a near-daily basis! I was actually calm the morning of our wedding because I knew Christine and the South Coast team had everything under control. If you are looking for an unforgettable winery venue in SoCal with an A+ wedding team, look no further than South Coast Winery – you will not be disappointed!

    Family Private Wedding:Elopement

    Our wedding was held at the garden of this heaven on earth.
    Can’t be any other place but here.
    Booking overseas with great staff made everything perfect for our family of five especially we have our toddler with us. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean & comfortable. Excellent beddings and spa quality amenities.
    Concierge was enthusiastic giving us rides around the vineyard.
    Staff at the winery and restaurant were friendly and welcoming.
    Coach of the carriage was very accommodating and fun as well as the personnel who coordinated the arrangements.
    Beyond expectation and rewarding experience.
    We had a relax and fascinating venue.
    We opted for no guests, no decors, no cake, no chairs, just us, just LOVE.
    If its love, it must be at SCWR&S Temecula.

    Perfect venue - Beautiful, Flexible, and Affordable

    South Coast Winery was the perfect setting for our wedding! Not only is it majestic with the sprawling vineyard views, but the wedding planning team is amazing. I worked with Claudia and Christine and they were both so professional, yet flexible and kind.

    I honestly thought South Coast would be way out of our price range, but its actually extremely reasonable compared to other wineries in the area (or anywhere in Southern California).

    Claudia and Christine worked with us to customize our day to our exact vision. It came out better than either of us could have ever imagined. From the first day of touring the venue to support all night the day of the wedding- I can't recommend South Coast Winery more! its the perfect place to get married.

    Gorgeous Venue with Excellent Staff

    Within 5 minutes of walking onto South Coast Winery Resort and meeting Andrew, Kevin and I knew we had found the venue we were looking for. To begin, the venue itself is gorgeous. We had our ceremony overlook vineyards at the Rose Arbor followed by our reception in the Courtyard. Our coordinators Christine & Andrew were amazing and ensured our day was everything we hoped for it to be and more. Super friendly and quick to help, they made the whole planning experience perfect. I have heard countless times now after our wedding from our guests that our wedding was the most beautiful they have attended. If you are thinking of booking here, you will not regret it. The vendors listed by the venue are remarkable as well.

    All in one Wedding Venue.

    This venue is absolutely beautiful for a wedding or any event. There are multiple areas to have a ceremony and reception for different sizes and budgets. The wedding packages cover almost everything and always provide the top quality. Also the resort has accommodations for a whole wedding weekend. A restaurant for rehearsal dinner and hotel/villas for people to stay. Brides be sure to upgrade to the Mountain View suite it is worth the money.

    Me and my Husband worked with Andrew Vasquez from the very beginning and he held our hands through every step of the way. No detail was left undone and day of Andrew and his team helped out more than we could have ever imagined. There was constant communication with everyone and most importantly with me. I even had a personal escort walk me and my dad from my villa once all the guest were seated. The resort is rather big but Andrew helped cart me and the Groom around for photos. He kept us on schedule and made sure all vendors were on time as well. And may I also mention that they had another event going on at the same time of 300 people! And we would have never known everyone was on top of it and of course the food as well.

    We were catered to with dinner served to us and wine service. The food was delicious and the catering team was quick! Me and Bobby even got stuck saying hello to some guest and Andrew made sure we weren’t served until we sat down in order to make sure our meal was hot when we ate it. (It really is the small things like that makes a vendor stand out.)

    Our Wedding was March 23, 2019 it was a beautiful weekend. It did get very chilly when the sun went down but there were heaters and dancing kept a lot of the guest warm. Also with all the rain everything was just starting to bloom but there was not any vines bloomed just yet but that did not make the property any less beautiful. I still have guest telling me how beautiful everything was.

    Our wedding was stress free and I believe it was all because of Andrew and his amazing team. I would recommend this venue to anyone and I am excited for any future Brides or Grooms to host their wedding at South Coast Winery.

    Beautiful Venue and Wonderful Staff

    Planning our wedding for June and it has been an easy and fun process every step of the way. Andrew, our coordinator, is on top of everything and referred us to wonderful vendors to help make our day complete. Our whole wedding is planned and we still have 5 months to go— so no stress!! It’s been a great experience; one I was worried about as I’ve never planned a wedding before. I’m looking forward to the day! Highly recommend this venue. You’ll be treated like royalty.

    Absolutely amazing to work with!

    Oh my, where do I begin? South Coast Winery was actually the first venue my husband and I ever looked at and we just knew it was the one. Not only is this location so beautiful with so many gorgeous views, it was really the team of people we trusted with our special day! Christine Tortorici & Andrew Vasquez are hands down the best wedding planners and coordinators that ever existed! They have been with us every step of the way since the first day we walked into their office up until even after our wedding! They are very responsive and quick to get answers about any questions you may have, which makes your wedding planning process so much easier. They are also extremely helpful with every little wedding detail that you want and need, and they do their very best to make it happen for you! I mean, what kind of bride doesn't want that? They not only make things happen for you, they are super kind, caring, and friendly while doing it too. I honestly could not have had the most perfect wedding without them! They really put their heart and soul into your big day like it was their own! Let's just say, I was not stressed on my wedding day. I enjoyed every single moment of it! I am SO thankful for them and lucky to now have them as lifetime friends! Love them so much!

    We were blown away by the quality, professionalism and attention to detail provided by Andrew and his staff at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa. From the event planning to the final minutes of our extraordinary wedding, the South Coast staff was available to meet our needs. The food was excellent!!! It was like a fine dining experience at a top notch restaurant. Our wedding went off without a single issue. What was promised was definitely delivered. We couldn't be happier with our decision to get married at South Coast. We received many compliments from those in attendance.

    Andrew and his team went above and beyond what I expected. He was easy to talk to and get a hold of. He was very accommodating when there was a possibility of the weather not cooperating, and would possibly not allow us to have our event outside. The staff was amazing and very polite.     South Coast Winery is the perfect wedding venue - beautiful Rose Arbor ceremony site, indoor/outdoor reception space, option for late hours, convenient onsite lodging and the most distinguishing point is their customer service. Andrew is a personable and ever so organized coordinator that made us feel as if we were his only couple...he is responsive and will let you relax because you know he’s there for you. Loren, the Executive Chef, is skilled at creating delicious dishes and the entire catering staff makes sure that everyone is tended to. We highly recommend South Coast Winery for the wedding of your dreams!

    We LOVED having our wedding at South Coast Winery!!! We had our ceremony at the beautiful rose arbor and the reception in the open courtyard covered in string lights. We wanted everything outside and this was the perfect venue for just that. The wedding planning process started out a little rocky as our original coordinate left the company but it was a blessing in disguise as we were given a new coordinator Andrew who was unbelievable!!! He made Brad and I feel so at ease from the minute he took over. Andrew made sure the notes that were handed over to him were correct and wanted to go over every little detail to make sure he didn’t miss anything. He pays such good attention to detail and also has great suggestions and ideas. He was super responsive with his email replies, even if he didn’t know the answer right away he still acknowledged our email and found out the answer as soon as he could. The day of the wedding Andrew and the staff were super helpful in getting everything and everyone coordinated and in the right place. He was always there when we needed a simple last minute request. I would highly recommend this venue!!! Thank you to south Coast and especially Andrew!!!

    My wedding was more beautiful than I could even imagine! The food was amazing and my guests had a great time! I couldn't have chosen a better place for my wedding! Claudia the wedding coordinator was amazing, my flowers came in and needed some cutting and she took care of it immediately. She made the whole process from beginning to end very easy!     We stayed here the night after the wedding. They were so welcoming and gave us free wine tastings in the tasting room! The hotel room was spotless and elegant and the room service was amazing!

    If you are looking for a wedding venue in the wine country of Temecula, this is it! We had our daughter's wedding there on October 18, 2014, and could not have asked for a more perfect venue, not to mention the professionalism and helpfulness of the wedding event coordinator and staff! An added bonus was being able to stay at one of the villas at South Coast. We chose the King Deluxe villa which served as the location for hair and makeup the morning of the wedding -- plenty of room AND what a view of the wine country off our back patio! Simply magnificent! We were steps away, literally, from the wedding ceremony at the Rose Arbor, which made it particularly convenient. The reception in the courtyard off the barrel room was magical! I would HIGHLY recommend this venue as your wedding location!! From my experience, I can tell you, you won't be disappointed!

    We selected South Coast Resort as a venue after our original plans fell through... That being said, I couldn't be more happy with the service we received from Christina Hodges. We were short on time but she made everything work for us. The event site (Rose Arbor) was beautiful and Christina helped us prepare and coordinate all the way through the ceremony. To top everything off the accommodations were beyond my imagination, a tremendous bridal suite with gorgeous winery views. I would recommend Christina and her team at South Coast to everyone looking to host an event.

    I got married at South Coast Winery in September and have nothing but praise for everyone involved with the wedding. I lived bit far away so I mostly communicated via emails but never had any problems getting answers to my questions and/or concerns. On the day of the wedding, I was checked on several times by my coordinator to make sure that everything was okay. My coordinator worked great with my vendors and made sure the set up was done perfectly and the ceremony ran without a hitch! The weather was unbearably hot so she made sure there were plenty of cool shades and cold water for my outdoor ceremony. The wedding was beautiful and I have to thank my coordinator for running everything so smoothly!

    My husband and I had our very, very small intimate wedding at South Coast Winery and it was perfect! Christina Hodges was our coordinator and she was fantastic throughout the entire process. We opted to use SCW's Runaway Package, which was geared towards elopements. Christina helped us to modify and add on until our wedding was a perfect fit for us.     The entire SCW staff, was at the top of there game. The made sure every detail was executed. And helped us save money when they could and noticed errors on our side and helped fix them. I don't plan on getting married again but If do I would do it there. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

    Getting to California for our wedding was nothing short of a nightmare. We ran into vehicle problems and issues with the county clerks office. One problem after the other. Once we reached South Coast all our problems were over! The staff and the recommended sub contractors from photography, planners, and the DJ were absolutely fantastic. Every step of the process was carefree and 100% taken care of. We got to actually enjoy our wedding day and didn't worry about any of the minor details they were all taken care of!! Thanks again for everything and can't tell you how happy we are with how everything turned out! Great experience all around!!

    We just got married at South Coast Winery this past weekend and couldn't be happier with the venue. All of the SCW staff were super professional and responsive to all of our questions and needs. Specifically, the wedding coordinator was awesome and made the planning process easy.

    We were married in the Rose Arbor (amazing!) and the reception was in the Barrel Room and also in the courtyard. The Rose Arbor was gorgeous and the view breathtaking. The dancing outside underneath the bistro lights was perfect and our guests are still talking about it.

    We love the venue and we can't wait to come back for our anniversary.

    Everything was great! The food was very very good!!! Claudia was very helpful throughout the planning and helped answer our questions and in the end we needed flowers and she came through and arranged a contact which saved the day! The only thing was I wish we could have had some rooms at your hotel but you were sold out. I am looking forward to coming back to South Coast Winery!

    South Coast Winery was an amazing place for my wedding. Everyone was commenting that it was straight out of a fairy tale. The food was great and the customer service was amazing. One of my guests asked for the sauce to be taken off of her dinner they did it quickly and without question. My event planner Christina was amazing as well. She knew exactly what was going on and was incredibly organized, responsive and professional. I have to say that I could not be more thrilled with how everything turned out.

    South Coast is a beautiful venue for your wedding. So beautiful in fact, that though this was the very first venue we looked at, we knew it was the one and stopped looking completely. It was a gorgeous day for a ceremony at the rose arbor, and friends commented that it was the prettiest backdrop they'd ever seen for a wedding. Our pictures are stunning by the way. We used the gold barrel room for the reception which was perfect for our intimate 50 person party. The food was good not amazing, but who cares! The drinks were flowing because they are reasonably priced and there is a warm spirit in the room providing a fun-party atmosphere. My only tiny complaint is that we signed off on where the dining tables would be and on that day the table numbers were mixed up. However, we planned our wedding in 3 months and everyone on staff was extremely helpful & lovely. Also, and this is huge... our wedding ended up to be way less expensive than we ever expected which is VERY rare for a wedding. You will love it!!!

    Christina and her team at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa were fabulous! You don't even need to hire a Wedding Coordinator of your own because the on-site ones are fantastic. They were very responsive and accommodating to my every need (including a ton of changes at the hosted bar last minute). The venue is stunning and their wine is the best!     SCW was very responsive and very accommodating to our shortened time frame. We planned our wedding in two months and the venue was more than happy to help with anything we might have been stuck on.
    Claudia P offered to even order linens from the vendor for us, helped with some table décor, and offered the bride and bridesmaids a ride from the villa to the venue site.
    I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a winery type wedding

    We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to have our wedding. The setting was absolutely gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the staff and coordinators were wonderful! I tend to be very picky when it comes to customer service (as I am a business owner who deals with this on a daily basis) and my experience with South Coast was definitely pleasant. Everyone was very helpful...I had numerous questions and they were always so quick to respond and never made me feel like I was a bother.

    There simply are not enough kind words to express our gratitude to the staff and venue of South Coast Winery: They are true professionals and we could not have been in better hands for our daughter's wedding. Christina led us so confidently and kindly through the final week leading up to the big night; she made us all feel special and pampered. She was truly willing to "go the extra mile" for us on any detail. We could not have achieved such a perfect wedding without her help. Leading up to the wedding, for months, Amber Joy was equally as helpful and supportive to us as we made important decisions. We were planning our daughter's wedding from 1800 miles away, so this trust and confidence in them was well founded. In the final analysis, the beauty of the venue, the graciousness and attentiveness of the staff, the food and beverage quality, the ease of the logistics for our guests, could not have been more perfect and elegant. We loved our event immensely; we would have another wedding there in a heartbeat.

    South Coast Winery was the PERFECT place to have our wedding. Everyone there was so great to work with, from the first time we visited. The wedding coordinator we professional and knew exactly where to point us at every turn. I would highly recommend South Coast to anyone.

    South Coast was an amazing venue for a wedding reception! Everything was perfect and the staff was incredible to work with. Everything I asked for was accommodated to. I especially enjoyed working with Amber Joy Day. Amber and the entire staff in her office were great to work with, especially as a stressed out bride to be. Thank you to all of you!

    South Coast Winery Resort & Spa was the venue for our wedding on April 4, 2013. South Coast is a very beautiful, picturesque, colorful setting for a wedding! The event coordinators at South Coast give great customer service, they are prompt and detail-oriented. We had a small wedding with guests coming from the mid-west, southern California, northern California, Palm Desert, and England. South Coast was the perfect resort for all of our guests. Beautiful scenery, first class service, friendly spa, incredible food, and fantastic wine tasting created memories that will last forever!

    We chose this venue for the gorgeous setting, but got so much more. The staff were helpful and friendly, they were very flexible when rain interfered with our outdoor ceremony plans, and the all-inclusive package they offered was actually more affordable than the other wineries in the area that we looked at. Would highly recommend.

    South Coast was the perfect place to have our wedding. They went above and beyond on our actually wedding day.... i did not have to worry or do anything the day of. Everything was taken care of and we felt like royalty on our wedding day with the service we received. The value and price was worth every penny :) We had to pay for our wedding ourselves and had a budget and South Coast was able to work with us. Not only was the service amazing but the venue itself is breath taking. Several of my guests were could not stop talking about how beautiful it was on the property, many of which have never been to Temecula:)
    Hope to go back to Celebrate many anniversary's in the future:)

    When we were engaged, SCWRS was our first-choice event venue. Much of our guest list was out-of-state, and Temecula offered the perfect opportunity to both vacation and adventure around the wedding. South Coast Winery, Resort & Spa drew our favorite friends and family from around the US. The grounds are gorgeous, the casitas are quite comfortable, and the city suggests something for everyone. When we expressed our interest, the event staff encouraged us to attend a bridal show so that we could see all the available sites dressed their best, meet partner vendors, and take advantage of a show-booking special. Then, they held our date, secured our preferred sites, accommodated our special requests, allowed our creative substitutions, constantly communicated with us, and celebrated us along the way. The entire staff was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Our choices were clear, experienced suggestions were valuable, and costs were fair. They took great care of us and our guests the entire year we were planning. Every detail was attended to on our big day. The site was beautiful, food was delicious, and service was extremely gracious. Our entire experience was wonderful. We'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. I never doubted that we were in the best of hands, and we got exactly what we dreamed of. Isn't that as it should be? Perfect 5.0 THANK YOU!

    The staff at South Coast Winery did a wonderful job on our wedding day! They were extremely friendly and were very responsive to any requests that we had.     We held our wedding ceremony (reception was elsewhere) at South Coast Winery on a Wednesday in June and everything was absolutely perfect. We booked the Rose Arbor over the phone because we live in WI and did not see it in person until a few weeks later. The pictures definitely do the venue justice. Amber Joy Day was always accessible to ask questions and calm my nerves. If she was not around at that moment, there was always someone to help me with my needs. One of the reasons we chose this venue was due to everything that was included (chairs, tables w/linens, sound system w/an AV guy, water station, large umbrellas and day of coordinator). I was running late to the rehearsal and they assured me that it was not a big deal and take my time. My day of coordinator was Vanessa and she was on every little detail. She kept us organized and made it look easy. Overall, the location, service and value were all top notch and made our day spectacular. Thank you South Coast!

    The cook for this restaurant is top notch. You will not order a dish that you won't absolutely love! We had a morning wedding and had the option of breakfast brunch or lunch. Many chose the breakfast items and loved them, but the mostly commented on was the bistro steak that was so melt in your mouth delicious as were the vegetables served with it. Just go there any time!!

    My husband and I stumbled upon South Coast Winery after we were engaged in August, 2010 and began looking at local venues. After looking at many options close to our home, and feeling discouraged at the lack of flexibility in pricing and accommodations, we found South Coast Winery online. We made an appointment to meet with Amber Joy Day, one of their wedding consultants. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty of the location, and how kind and comfortable everyone seemed. We weren't big wine enthusiasts before that day, but we became so that day!

    This winery & our consultant were so flexible and respectful of our budget! We never felt pushed to upgrade beyond our initial choices. We had an intimate wedding of 40 guests, and continue to receive compliments on our wedding. The food, the setting and the incredible staff really went above and beyond to make sure our day was as wonderful for our guests as it was for my husband and I.

    We became wine club members as well... and continue to pick our our wine in person, so that we can enjoy to beautiful atmosphere and reminisce about our happy day! Thank you to all who made it so remarkable!

    Just beautiful! From the room, to the spa, i got married in the rose arbor and the view was perfect. The service is fast and kind to help in anything we needed. Cocktail in the courtyard and reception in the barrel room couldn't ask for better venue thank you southcoast! Oh also Veronica helped in the reception and was awesome! She was the best!

    Everything was great! Only issue was our cake topper was broken at some point after the reception and part of the cake supports were lost by the kitchen staff. Otherwise everything was wonderful. I only wish the reception could go for longer because it was so amazing and went by so fast!! Claudia was wonderful. Helped us every step of the way and answered our dozens of questions happily. I would definitely recommend to friends!

The site coordinator helped us so much through the wedding planning process and especially on the day of our wedding.     Wonderful Wedding Weekend

    We got married at South Coast Winery on 4/30/21. Although planning a wedding through the uncertainty of the pandemic was stressful, SCW made it as seamless as possible. Our banquet manager, Claudia, was amazing. She was very responsive and very thorough and very understanding. She upgraded so many things for us – our wedding suite, our reception napkins, our parents’ suites. They were also very lenient with our Room Block, since many of our guests were unsure about staying in a hotel.

    Needless to say, the venue was absolutely beautiful and we were so excited to find a winery that also served cocktails, and had everything onsite for our guests. One of our favorite things about our experience at SCW though was our suite. The Mountain King Suite was gorgeous and had more than enough room for my bridal party to get ready on the big day. It had a full bedroom, as well as a separate dining and living room area, 2 bathrooms, 2 walk in closets and 2 mini fridges. It also had a beautiful entryway that was perfect for photos and a large patio on the vineyard. I would highly recommend this suite for your wedding. My husband and I were both blown away by it from the start. The staff even left a very nice welcome gift in our suite with a couple bottles of wine and a sweet little note.

    We were very happy with our decision to get married at South Coast Winery. Everything we needed and wanted was onsite at SCW. The day after our wedding, we had a group breakfast at the restaurant on site and spent the day at the pool, and in the courtyard where they had live music and a food truck.

    The only complaint I had about our wedding day was that our bartender did not know how to make our Signature Cocktails. It sounds like a small thing, but in the moment we were SO frustrated by this. When my husband and I expressed our concern, Claudia suggested that the restaurant bartender upstairs make our drinks all night. It was very inconvenient hunting her down all night to ask for drinks from upstairs.

    Nobody ever discloses what they spend on these reviews but I think it would be helpful to note that we spent about $13k on the venue, with food (plated filet or salmon), service, tables/linens etc. and open bar for 65 people. It also included our 3-night stay in the suite. Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious their meals were and what a great time they had at our wedding.

    Tips: It gets windy, make sure your placecards are heavy enough and your hair is done accordingly. The entry stairs are hard for bridal party and bride and groom to dance down, choose a slow beat song. Make sure your coordinator and photographer are familiar with the property, its very large so can create some confusion. Wear comfortable shoes for taking photos in the grass and the vineyard.

    Perfect for our Wedding

    We loved having our wedding at South Coast Winery! We had our large wedding there in February 2019 and had the most wonderful experience.

    First and foremost, working with Andrew, the in-house catering manager and wedding coordinator, was nothing short of phenomenal. He was always immediately responsive and always came up with solutions for what we needed (and we needed a lot give the size of the wedding and the fact that it was a wedding weekend rather than a single day event). He doesn’t forget small details of what was discussed and executes the wedding perfectly. On top of being great at the mechanics of his job, he is always pleasant and relaxed while going about it. We loved working with him and in addition to the beautiful location, Andrew and his team were the best thing about the South Coast.

    Further, the food tastes great. We were worried about it being standard (mediocre) wedding food, but selected the South Coast based on the beautiful location anyway. Boy were we wrong about the food. The food is delicious and the portions were enormous - we felt great about the meal we provided to our guests.

    The location is also absolutely stunning. Even in winter there were colorful flowers and greenery everywhere, and the grape vines were also so beautiful without leaves.

    We really had the perfect wedding at South Coast and can’t recommend it highly enough. The only thing we would have changed was to be able to get a block of rooms at a set rate for our wedding guests since it was a destination wedding for us. There seems to be a disconnect between the hotel reservations side and the event side, and that made it a little more difficultRe. Regardless, we had the most wonderful wedding and highly recommend South Coast Winery.

    I just had my wedding ceremony at the Rose Arbor and reception at the Bell Tower Courtyard/Barrel Room and it was completely magical! The property was gorgeous, blooming with flowers in May, and everything ran smoothly with the South Coast team. Andrew, our catering manager, was wonderful to work with - very accommodating, friendly, and responsive, especially close to the date. No question was too minute or task too small for him. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and wish we could do it all over again.

    My husband and I recently got married at South Coast and I couldn't be happier. We booked the venue sight unseen before making a trip out there 6 months prior to the event to meet with the staff and tour. They were so accommodating - I had some requests like changing the time of the ceremony, doing a brunch reception instead of traditional lunch/dinner, and adding some vendors last-minute. I cannot describe how pleased we were for the value as well - we got married on a Sunday morning so an off day/time and the price they quoted me was unbelievable. At our sight tour, Claudia (Catering & Event Manager) took us around so we could settle on all the things we wanted and she attended to our every need and want. She also took care of us during our stays from room cleanliness to a surprise bottle of wine and dessert after our wedding. We couldn't be happier and can't wait to come back. (As far as accommodations, the rooms are beautiful and the views, incredible. The only issue we had was with the front desk/housekeeping staff not responding quickly and having some issues with broken things that weren't handled. However, that wouldn't change my mind about having my wedding there again - just an inconvenience for us and our guests).

    We had our Ceremony in the Rose Arbor and Reception out doors just below the Bell Tower and could not have asked for a better venue and team. To be honest, it started out a little shaky with our first Coordinator but South Coast let her go and replaced her with Andrew Vasquez. From day 1 Andrew was on point and stepped up the service 10 fold from what we were receiving prior to. He took great notes, made recommendations and made sure things went smoothly through and through. I would recommend if you could lock down this venue, especially having the Ceremony at the Rose Arbor and Reception just below the Bell Tower to have an outdoor venue, do it. If you have a creative bunch and great DJ, this is a great platform for everyone to have a blast. We have received nothing but great feedback from our friends and family that attended. The only negative was no liquor can be consumed at the Reception but believe me, that is more of a positive.

    South Coast Winery Resort was an amazing venue to have our wedding and rehearsal dinner! The breathtaking wine country ceremony backdrop and elegant Bell Tower reception made a perfect pairing for our Temecula wedding. Amber and Vanessa made a grade team in coordinating before the wedding to the day of. People commented that they were amazed that the wedding started on time, as Vanessa is very attentive to the ceremony/reception timelines. The villas are amazing, as is the spa/pool area, and the staff there is extremely courteous. I couldn't have had a more magical setting. South Coast is the way to go!!!

    Our wedding day was amazing. It was a picture perfect wedding site. The wedding coordinator helped make everything go very smoothly. Our food was delicious, and our entire family was very impressed with our wedding! We stayed in one of the King Suite Villas for our wedding night and they are fantastic! We plan on going back every 5 years to celebrate our anniversary there!

    Christina Hodges was an amazing coordinator! She was super professional and helpful! She was organized, easy to get a hold of, and very helpful throughout the wedding process! Unfortunately, Christina had an accident and was unable to handle our wedding event. Her person who stepped in for her on the other hand was not as impressive. The day of and the day before the wedding there seemed to be a lack of communication. The person who helped us miscommunicated when we could set up for the wedding and did not check in on the ladies in the morning. I was left alone on the side of the road in my wedding dress waiting for a golf cart to pick me up. I was a little saddened by this experience. Overall, my experiences with Christina were amazing! I wish she was able to be there throughout the whole process!

    Leann Casey is the best!

    My husband and I got married at South Coast in April. Initially, the communication and organization was great with our first coordinator, Samantha. When she left the property, we got paired with another coordinator whom seemed new and unable to answer questions, let alone promptly. We were put in contact with a new coordinator following our request to change as the wedding was only a few months out. Leann Casey was our venue coordinator for the last few months and the day of the wedding. Leann was phenomenal. She is professional and organized. She helped my husband and I stay stress free the day of the wedding. She even bustled my dress for me. She is incredible and we would highly recommend her! South Coast offers a beautiful venue and great food. We had multiple guests express comments on how stunning the venue was and how delicious the food was. We loved our wedding day here and would recommend it to anyone.
