SoundWave DJs MKE is an entertainment service for weddings in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Chicago, and beyond. The company was founded by a husband-and-wife who understands that planning your big day can at times be intimidating. As such, Sarah and Brian present a service that is tailored to the needs of couples. Their repertoire of music is vast and diverse, offering everything from 1930’s swing to the latest pop mega-hits.

Services Offered

SoundWave DJs MKE provides couples with a service that is comprehensive and expertly delivered. Each engagement begins with a pre-event consultation to determine your needs and includes music for both the ceremony and reception. They can also provide extras to add an atmospheric touch to the proceedings such as uplighting and a GOBO projector. Brian is a DJ who is not afraid to get in the mix and can also offer games and fun announcements throughout the night.

Nothing but AWESOME!

Brian was great to work with and came up to ask questions when he wanted it to be perfect for us! My husband was always on the dance floor and loved to see everyone enjoying themselves. Brian was so great to work with!

June 2024 wedding

We would absolutely recommend Brian as a DJ. I was very particular about my music and wanting a full blown party throughout the night. Brian listened to us and nailed it out of the park. We got so many compliments on our dance floor and DJ. No complaints!

Great Tunes for Our Sweet Day

Brian did an excellent job with the music for our wedding reception. He was timely, professional, and well organized. We worked with Brian before the wedding day to plan for the schedule of the day and discuss our music preferences. In addition to his DJ services, we rented uplighting which added ambiance to the room. If you are looking for a MC and DJ who is organized and attune to flow of the dance floor, Brian is your guy.

Best DJ for Wedding!

I was recommended DJ SoundWaves by someone in a mom group that I am in. I received many recommendations but Brian and his team were my first choice pick. He married my husband and I on his OWN wedding anniversary - I was so thankful and appreciative that he wanted to celebrate our day with us! Brian and his team did an amazing job the day of the wedding, and also the time leading up to the wedding. I had no idea it would be so hard to pick songs (or how many songs we needed) - and Brian was very patient with us and he even gave some suggestions of songs. The day went flawlessly and I would recommend him to anyone in a heart beat! The prices were fair and everything that we paid for, we received!

Awesome and affordable DJ!

Brian was amazing to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process - from the initial contact to the planning meetings/calls to the actual day of. He kept the dance floor full all night long and everyone had an amazing time. We also got a lot of compliments on the gobo light and uplighting he provided as well. He also did a great job of keeping the whole reception flowing including the grand march, speeches, and special dances.

You won’t want to hire anyone else!

Brian and William were both great to plan and work with. They were very flexible when it came to our venue and timeline. They also had great suggestions before and on the day to make sure things went smoothly and to our liking. SoundWave DJs we’re a big part of what made our day extraordinary.

Best DJ you could ask for

Brian was exceptionally friendly, personable, organized, professional, and flexible from the start to the end. We had a few last minute changes with what we wanted with the DJ and he was able to deliver on everything we asked from him to perfection. Our event was at the Grain Exchange and his setup for sound, uplighting, and GOBO were amazing. All of our guests commented how great the uplighting was. He even alternated the lights to different colors throughout the night as the music was playing. He was very well organized throughout our reception and made sure we were on time with all of the dances throughout the night. His playlist for the night was also amazing. He had the dance floor packed all night with everyone having the time of their life. Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience with Brian as a DJ.

Best Day Ever

Brian was absolutely amazing at our wedding. He was super responsive to our emails coming up to the day. Since our wedding consisted a mixture of both of our families, Brian did a perfect job at playing music my family (Hispanic) was able to dance to and as well as my husband's (American). I Will definitely be keeping this company in mind for future big events we have. Thank you so much Brian for helping make our day so special.

Great music!

Everyone complimented the music and had lots of fun dancing. My husband and I have pretty different music tastes, but the night was a great blend and there was music for everyone! I would highly recommend.

Amazing DJ!

Brian was extremely professional and responded quickly to every contact. He made sure the evening ran smoothly and we were even ahead of schedule for a while! 100% would recommend using Soundwave DJs for your wedding.
