From the ceremony through cocktail hour and into the reception, he kept everything running so smoothly and brought the perfect energy to every part of the day. His input and suggestions helped the day flow seamlessly and created so many special moments we’ll never forget.

Once the reception started, Steven kept the dance floor packed all night long (and even jumped in with some dance moves himself, which our guests absolutely loved)! We got so many compliments from friends and family about how fun, positive, and talented he was.

I booked Carter Events for my DJ and photobooth about a year and a half before my wedding. Even before booking, Steven was incredibly helpful with all of my questions. After about a week of back and forth, I felt very confident moving forward with them.
About six months later, I decided I wanted a Day-of Coordinator and chose to go through Carter Events since I already had them booked for DJ. Again, every question I had prior to officially booking was answered quickly and thoroughly. They sent over forms to fill out (DJ, DOC, timeline), which gave me a really good starting point for planning.
We had a couple meetings leading up to the day, and they were so helpful. We went through everything, which made me feel really comfortable going into the wedding. The energy Steven brought was amazing.
Steven was great. His setup looked amazing, and everything we asked for was incorporated in a really tasteful way. My fiancé wanted pirate shanties at some point during the night, and Steven worked them into cocktail hour in a way that didn’t feel tacky at all.
There were also things I couldn’t decide on, like the final dance, and I told Steven to just go for it—and what he came up with was amazing. All night, he played music that matched exactly what we liked. He turned away requests for songs he didn’t think we would like (and he was right), and overall just kept the energy up with bangers all night.
On the day of, everyone showed up on time and got right to work. Angie was a huge help with everything—from decor, to managing people, to being the middle person between me and the vendors. She was incredibly friendly, but also very no-nonsense, which is exactly what you need. She kept everything moving and made sure things actually got done.
She helped keep the groomsmen on track, handled communication seamlessly, and executed my decor exactly how I had envisioned it based on my notes. I have a hard time giving up control, but I felt completely comfortable putting everything in Angie’s hands for the day.
From start to finish, they made the entire process seamless and stress-free, which made a huge difference throughout planning and on the wedding day.
Overall, if I had to plan a wedding again (or any big event), I would 100% choose Carter Events for both DJ and Day-of Coordinator. They were one of the best decisions we made, and I truly feel like I got everything I paid for—and then some.

Carter Events and Entertainment is professional & polished and was well-prepared with top-tier equipment that delivered crystal-clear sound for both ceremony and reception. Our DJ was incredibly easy to communicate with and very attentive to every detail. They even offered helpful suggestions for the timing of our special dances—ideas we hadn’t even thought of that made our evening run seamlessly. When our guests were taking breaks, Steven came out on the floor to dance with me (the bride), twirling and having a great time, Steven even taught me the Wobble! The sound system was crystal clear, and their lighting transformed the space, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our choice in hiring Carter Events and Entertainment was the best one we could have made.

They were patient with any last minute changes or ideas that we had. They also had great input on other parts of the wedding, not just the music! Such as timeline, rehearsal, floor plan, etc. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Steven and his team were very easy to work with and answered any "crazy" question we had for them. Katti worked hard to keep up with the high demand from our guests! I would highly recommend them for their photo booth experience. We also had them do our uplighting, which worked out great and the price point was great!
