Here are some reasons to choose Sounds Fantastic Entertainment:

  • First and foremost we will LISTEN to what you need for your event and will provide a customized solution to meet all of your requirements. There is no “one size fits all” with Sounds Fantastic!
  • Your DJ will meet with you in person at least once prior to your event. During this time specifics can be solidified and any questions can be answered. Additionally we are just a phone call away and will check in with you occasionally to ensure all of your questions have been answered.
  • We use “State of the Art” Professional Digital Music systems and have additional backup systems ready at all times.
  • We will respect your “Must play” and more importantly your “Must not play” music lists.
  • We are professionals and all of our DJ’s have over 15 years of experience.
  • We will always treat you with respect and treat your event as if it was our own.
  • We will not self promote our business on your time. We will not display any banner or mention our company name while entertaining your guests. Business Cards will be available for guests should they request one.
  • Our DJ’s rarely if ever take breaks and will never consume alcohol while playing at your event.
  • We will make your event a success that your guests will rant and rave about.

Sounds Fantastic (SF) was recommended to us by a friend. After our first phone call with John, we knew how responsible and professional he would be. The planning process was very simple and SF was extremely responsive to any and all questions we had leading up to our day. SF lets you be as engaged as you want on the planning process. If we couldn't think of songs to match a time of the event, John offered great insight. As the date neared, John made sure to have every detail of our day laid out and really took the worry and pressure off our shoulders for the entertainment portion of our wedding. On our wedding day, John and SF delivered as advertised. The timeline of the event and every introduction of the bridal party was on point. SF kept the dance floor crowded, playing songs that kept everyone in the crowd of all ages dancing throughout the entire event. We could not have asked for more when we selected Sounds Fantastic.

John was by far the best vendor we worked with. He was always extremely prompt and reliable with getting back to any questions or requests that we had whether it was by email or phone. We live a couple hours away so John was able to make us feel completely comfortable when we first set up our FaceTime meeting to our final meeting a week before our big day to talk about the details of our wedding. He went above and beyond for us whenever we had a specific request, for example we wanted our bridal party to be introduced to the Bulls theme song from the 90's and he made it so fun! Our bridal party and the guests loved it! We got so many complements from our guests and the dance floor was always full with people dancing all night. John made our wedding so memorable!

John was the most professional & attentive vendor we worked with during our wedding planning. From the first phone call I felt incredibly comfortable talking with him and he was so patient in answering all my questions. As the big day got closer John did a great job of touching base with us and reviewing the logistics of the ceremony & reception. We were set up with access to his playlist and got to input our favorite songs & songs we had already gotten requests for from our guests. I totally trusted John's judgement and he did a fabulous job of guiding us through the flow of our wedding. He called out details that I had not even thought of. We knew we were in good hands. A couple months later we watched our wedding video and it was clear John helped us celebrate and throw one great party. Thank you John!

Sounds Fantastic and DJ John Nicholas was very professional and detail oriented from the minute we first sat down with him. From the get go you could tell that he has done a number of weddings and has a good feel for how to keep everyone happy. The system he uses to select songs and make special requests is very easy to use and can be done at any time from any computer. On the day of the event he was set up and ready to go in the blink of an eye and did a fantastic job acting as master of ceremonies, making sure to clear any issues with my wife and I. The lighting he brought was unobtrusive and really added some extra character for a great price. Overall, a fantastic experience that I would recommend to any looking for a professional DJ.

Sounds Fantastic was the first company to contact me and do a full consultation of the service that they provide. I had contacted other DJs, however, they did not seem interested in explaining their services. I knew after the first conversation with John that he was going to be our DJ. The sound system was top notch. He was flexible with some last minute changes to our introductions. And I received many compliments the night of our reception about John. Everyone enjoyed the music and interaction. It was awesome!!

I can't tell you how thankful we are that we went with Sounds Fantastic. We had our wedding last night and I told John before the night was over that I am going to actually write him a review. Literally, I have never taken the time to find a website where you can write a review until now, but with the unbelievable job that John did last night at our wedding, it's only right to tell others how awesome it really was.

When we first met with John, I could tell by his professionalism the kind of DJ he was, but more importantly what kind of person he was. Throughout the night, we got so many comments about how great the music is and dancing is. I plan on recommending Sounds Fantastic in the future to anyone who wants a DJ that is truly awesome and great at what he does.

If you want your friends and family dancing all night... HIRE SOUNDS FANTASTIC! We had a very diverse crowd with even more diverse musical tastes. Somehow John was able to read the crowd and kept everyone on the floor all night long! Our friends still rave about what a great time they had at our wedding. When we met John we had felt that we had known him forever. He is just a very nice guy who clearly knows what he is doing and can facilitate one heck of a party! Thank you John and Sounds Fantastic for making our wedding just perfect!

My husband and I met with 10 DJ's. Out of all them Sounds Fantastic stood out. John was very professional and personal and made us feel comfortable right away. He was very good at asking questions to help understand what we were looking for. In the end we decided to go with their Platinum package and the 20 wireless uplights. If you have never seen uplighting before it looks incredible. Sounds Fantastic's uplights are wireless and remote controlled so we had different colors for cocktail hour, dinner, and they flashed to the music during dancing. All of our guests were amazed by the light show. John did a great job with introductions and was a great speaker. Our guests danced all night and everyone had a wonderful time. Sounds Fantastic is a cut above the rest and my husband and I highly recommend them.

We had a hard time figuring out what we were looking for regarding a DJ. We didn't know about lights, or speakers, or anything except what music we liked. When we met with Sounds Fantastic for the first time we were immediately impressed with how knowledgeable and helpful they were. They helped educate us on the options and let us design what we wanted. When our day came everything was just as I envisioned it. Sounds Fantastic was the perfect choice for us and we had a wonderful wedding reception. Sounds Fantastic is the "easy" button for your first class wedding reception.
