Kelvon was amazing from start to finish. At no point during our reception was the dance floor empty. He ensured to play a variety of music that had our grand parent and parents dancing right along with us. Highly recommend booking Kelvon for your wedding or event you’re planning.

I talked with a LOT of DJs prepping for our wedding reception March 3rd. I have two degrees in Music, but desperately needed someone else to "get me" and honestly, MC the entire event. Glad I went with my gut with Kelvon; the first time we talked I trusted him completely! and I was no easy bride 😆 My dream was something like the new version of the Great Gatsby, Jazz building to pop/hiphop/ 90s pop/ club/ oldies. what a mess of an explanation, but he NAILED IT. If you have one person who will dance, Kelvon will BRING THE PARTY! He pivoted to salsa for my guests on command. He played requests. He's detail oriented, a fabulous mixer, and am overall awesome human that can command the entire event (for people like me who panic last minute and want to say nothing when the day comes lol). I used his awesome portal for planning when I was able, clung to his automated emails that informed me how many days out the event was and what I should be checking off my to do list. Seriously, I loved using The Knot to plan, but Kelvon's emails really made me feel prepared in every way. I cannot recommend this genius enough- A MILLION STARS ✨️ he is beyond talented, a walking party, and having him in charge made me SOOOO relaxed. Book him. Book him now. Add that Photobooth. Kelvon kept our guests on the dance floor the whole night and made our wedding so fun! He worked with us to plan the reception timing and we found the online planning system to be really convenient. Kelvon was an amazing DJ. He was professional, experienced, and has a natural talent for the job. When we booked Kelvon, he was so personable and easygoing, I felt like I already knew him. On the day of, he arrived on time, didn’t need any guidance, and was able to do the outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception with the song lists i provided without a hitch. He even mixed a song for my father daughter dance in a way that incorporated a fast and slow song! He did a great job reading the room and playing songs that catered to the crowd that was responding most to the music. If you want a DJ that knows how to take what you want and go with it without direction, Kelvin is your man!

DJ Kelvon was the best!! He truly cared about making our day special and everything we wanted it to be. All of our requests were perfectly executed and the fog machine was such a cool effect! Everyone was on the dance floor and raved about him afterward! Very nice to work with, responsive, and great value for what you pay!

Kelvon made the whole planning process so easy. He was very easy to reach through email, phone, and zoom for any questions we had. His planning platform allowed us to enter names, wedding party info, timeline, and music preferences at our convenience which we reviewed in a zoom meeting a few weeks before the wedding. He made sure to clarify all wedding party names and the day of he pronounced everything perfectly. He curated different playlists for cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception to match the mood. The reception mix that he put together was everything we could have asked for and more! He kept the energy going until the end of the night and played so many songs we suggested along with others that fit our style perfectly. Ourselves and our wedding guests are big music festival attendees and Kelvon did a great job of blending our requests with fan favorites which kept everyone out on the dancefloor all night long. I can’t recommend Kelvon enough and am so grateful we chose him for our wedding.

Our wedding was meant to be different: to let people roam, flow and not feel like they were limited to the space. Reggie went above and beyond throughout the planning process by asking clarifying questions and raising new ones we hadn’t considered. He wanted to get everything just right. While he was new to our venue, you couldn’t even tell. He knew what people needed and wanted to keep the night moving and flowing. He checked in on us, worked closely with our other vendors, and helped get US excited even when planning was exhausting and stressful.

I think what’s even more impressive is that because of our style, even if our guests weren’t on the dance floor, Reggie acted as our “wing man” and co-host. His work behind-the-scenes and throughout the afternoon and into the evening are proof that a DJ is so much more than someone who plays and mixes music. They can truly set the tone for the evening from how they deliver announcements and transition to special moments to remaining flexible to what guests are responding to on the dance floor.
