Best DJ Ever!!
Kelvon was amazing from start to finish. At no point during our reception was the dance floor empty. He ensured to play a variety of music that had our grand parent and parents dancing right along with us. Highly recommend booking Kelvon for your wedding or event you’re planning.

The best day of my life
I talked with a LOT of DJs prepping for our wedding reception March 3rd. I have two degrees in Music, but desperately needed someone else to "get me" and honestly, MC the entire event. Glad I went with my gut with Kelvon; the first time we talked I trusted him completely! and I was no easy bride 😆 My dream was something like the new version of the Great Gatsby, Jazz building to pop/hiphop/ 90s pop/ club/ oldies. what a mess of an explanation, but he NAILED IT. If you have one person who will dance, Kelvon will BRING THE PARTY! He pivoted to salsa for my guests on command. He played requests. He's detail oriented, a fabulous mixer, and am overall awesome human that can command the entire event (for people like me who panic last minute and want to say nothing when the day comes lol). I used his awesome portal for planning when I was able, clung to his automated emails that informed me how many days out the event was and what I should be checking off my to do list. Seriously, I loved using The Knot to plan, but Kelvon's emails really made me feel prepared in every way. I cannot recommend this genius enough- A MILLION STARS ✨️ he is beyond talented, a walking party, and having him in charge made me SOOOO relaxed. Book him. Book him now. Add that Photobooth. Kept our guests dancing all night
Kelvon kept our guests on the dance floor the whole night and made our wedding so fun! He worked with us to plan the reception timing and we found the online planning system to be really convenient. Personable, professional, and independent!
Kelvon was an amazing DJ. He was professional, experienced, and has a natural talent for the job. When we booked Kelvon, he was so personable and easygoing, I felt like I already knew him. On the day of, he arrived on time, didn’t need any guidance, and was able to do the outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception with the song lists i provided without a hitch. He even mixed a song for my father daughter dance in a way that incorporated a fast and slow song! He did a great job reading the room and playing songs that catered to the crowd that was responding most to the music. If you want a DJ that knows how to take what you want and go with it without direction, Kelvin is your man!

Kelvon was amazing
Kelvon made the whole planning process so easy. He was very easy to reach through email, phone, and zoom for any questions we had. His planning platform allowed us to enter names, wedding party info, timeline, and music preferences at our convenience which we reviewed in a zoom meeting a few weeks before the wedding. He made sure to clarify all wedding party names and the day of he pronounced everything perfectly. He curated different playlists for cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception to match the mood. The reception mix that he put together was everything we could have asked for and more! He kept the energy going until the end of the night and played so many songs we suggested along with others that fit our style perfectly. Ourselves and our wedding guests are big music festival attendees and Kelvon did a great job of blending our requests with fan favorites which kept everyone out on the dancefloor all night long. I can’t recommend Kelvon enough and am so grateful we chose him for our wedding.

Attentive, excited and flexible
Our wedding was meant to be different: to let people roam, flow and not feel like they were limited to the space. Reggie went above and beyond throughout the planning process by asking clarifying questions and raising new ones we hadn’t considered. He wanted to get everything just right. While he was new to our venue, you couldn’t even tell. He knew what people needed and wanted to keep the night moving and flowing. He checked in on us, worked closely with our other vendors, and helped get US excited even when planning was exhausting and stressful.
I think what’s even more impressive is that because of our style, even if our guests weren’t on the dance floor, Reggie acted as our “wing man” and co-host. His work behind-the-scenes and throughout the afternoon and into the evening are proof that a DJ is so much more than someone who plays and mixes music. They can truly set the tone for the evening from how they deliver announcements and transition to special moments to remaining flexible to what guests are responding to on the dance floor.
We would wholeheartedly, 1000% recommend Reggie and the whole team at That’s My DJ!

Kelvon was so easy to work with, very accommodating and friendly, we had several phone calls and zoom meetings, his website tool for song selections is very user friendly… He brought such a fantastic energy to our reception, with top grade equipment. His song mixes and light package were perfection, he was so great at reading the room, and keeping the music tailored to what kept our guests on the dance floor. We added the microphone option for our ceremony, and the sound quality was amazing. We also opted for the 360 photo booth, his attendant was so much fun and the final product was everything we had hoped for.

A night to remember
Where to begin? We had booked a DJ for our reception but because of COVID, our date got cancelled. When we tried to rebook him, he was unavailable and also did not refund our money! I was furious to say the least. This is when I found Kelvon and That’s My DJ Entertainment. Right away, just like their name says, I knew that’s my DJ. He was so friendly and professional, I knew I was in good hands. He listened to all of my ideas and incorporated them flawlessly. I knew we would have a great night. Kelvon was an outstanding DJ! He played everything I wanted and nothing that I didn’t want. He kept the dance floor busy all night by judging the crowd properly. The photo booth option was also a huge hit and Kelvon did a great job of explaining how it works to my guest. Kelvon helped to make my wedding reception truly a night to remember. If you are thinking about hiring a DJ, stop because That’s My DJ should already be your choice.

When my wife and I were evaluating our DJs, we knew from 10 minutes into talking with Kelvon that we were going with "That's My DJ." You could instantly feel the passion for the music and the event, and that authenticity made all the difference when the event planning was underway. Kelvon introduced us to DJ Reggie, who was simply amazing! Our reception was beautifully orchestrated and DJ Reggie was as professional and responsive as could be throughout the entire planning process. The prices were very fair, especially when you consider that DJ Reggie essentially was the quarterback of the reception, doubling down as a wedding/event coordinator. Even one month later, guests are raving about how DJ Reggie kept the dance floor moving all night! The services provided far exceeded our expectations, and guests were dancing all night - and it's all thanks to DJ Reggie.

My husband and I are both very music-oriented, so choosing a good DJ was one of the most important things on our wedding checklist. Kelvon absolutely blew our expectations out of the water and was the best DJ and MC we could have asked for! Kelvon exceeded our expectations for a wedding DJ. From the first meeting to the day of the wedding, he was so wonderful to work with. We pivoted our wedding venue about five months before the date due to Covid since we wanted to move everything outdoors and he was flexible to make the new location work. We booked Kelvon because he was so detailed on our first meeting but we were blown away at his professionalism and DJ skills on the day of. He was also so adamant about making sure everyone's names were said correctly and was perfect at making the night run smoothly. Seriously, don't hesitate to book Kelvon or his team for your wedding. Honestly, I was super nervous picking a DJ for our wedding because music and dancing is one of the only thing people remember from a wedding! Awesome DJ!
The first conversation I had with Kelvon I knew he was my DJ! He was very professional and very detailed. He even explained things about weddings that I didn’t know. After talking to so many different DJ’s I had already started to feel like we connected and he would be my DJ but I kept telling myself I need to think on it more but never the less I kept coming back to Kelvon at that point I knew I had to Book him. Now 2 days after my wedding my husband and I are so happy we did! He knew just what to play to get everybody out of there seats. He knew just the music they wanted to hear. He was awesome! All around he was a nice person even before I met him in person. He instantly worked well with my coordinator that I brought in last minute. Do to the pandemic I had to make lots of changes last minute. He went with the flow and even bent a few corners for us in which he didn’t charge us for. He gave us a card and he’s sending us a wedding gift! You can’t find a DJ better than that. Everybody just kept saying your DJ is turnt! He just went and fit right in like family. He helped me out a lot with how a wedding is suppose to run too. He also brought in another DJ to help and he was nice as well. I love this company! I stand behind companies that care about there customers and treat them well. I’m a fan forever. If you are going back and forward trying to decide on a DJ book him! Don’t stress anymore! Don’t waste energy like I did go with your first mind and relax. Anytime I need a DJ in the future he will be my first call. That’s my DJ Entertainment goes down as one of my best wedding memories for years to come. Did I mention all of this and he still stayed in my budget! Thanks Kelvon and I will talk to you soon.

A great experience.
I had to plan my daughter's wedding in 6 weeks. He was available to consult my daughter and I through emails and phone. He was professional and friendly and put me at ease that everything would go smoothly and he did. The wedding went smoothly and the music was great! I would refer Kelvon to friends and family, and I would use him again.

Kelvon did an amazing job at our wedding. He is very accommodating and incorporated all of our suggested songs. His selections and timings kept everyone on the dance floor all night. What An Awesome Dude!
Kelvon was absolutely amazing. From the first phone call I knew he would be the perfect choice for music at our wedding. He provided a professional yet fun music experience. We got so many compliments on how great the music was, I don't think there was a single moment people weren't out on the dance floor. He was very calm and flexible allowing us to just enjoy our day. He even allowed me to add another toast the day of, very last minute. We would highly recommend him for any kind of event!!

Great DJ, highly recommend
We hired Kelvon to be our DJ, and also asked for him to bring along a Spanish-speaking MC to translate. Kelvon was incredibly helpful in the planning process, especially as we created our timeline. He is very knowledgeable.
We especially appreciated his flexibility when we asked whether he could help our ceremony musicians (friends of ours) set up. Kelvon and Jasmin were an immense help the day of, and we really appreciated how he kept us on track.
Most importantly, Kelvon is a super talented DJ. We are still hearing from guests about how much they enjoyed the reception. We even added on requests for songs during the reception that were specific to certain traditions, and he had no problem getting things up and running. The equipment is high quality and Kelvon made sure our guests had a great time.

If you are looking for a DJ for your event, look no further than Kelvon. I booked Kelvon after seeing him keep a dance floor going for the entire night at a friends wedding, and he didn’t let me down. Our dance floor was PACKED the entire night. There is something to be said for knowing how to read a room and play the right song and Kelvon has that skill. He was also an incredible hype man for you and all of your bridal party. Highly Recommend
My wife and I eloped a couple months back and agreed to have a 'celebration' with friends and family. We currently live in Dallas, Texas and decided to have the celebration back home in Illinois. After speaking with Kelvon one time we knew he was the DJ for the job. We were a little nervous in the beginning of the search since we were so far away. Needless to say we had no issues communicating with Kelvon and arranged everything without an issue. Kelvon even went as far as giving us uplighting suggestions and we chose his color suggestion. The music was great and made every guest comfortable. There was a wide variety of music and he knew when to slow it down or turn it up. If I do any other events I will be hiring Kelvon again.

I first met Kelvon when he was working for an MC company back in 2015. I was extremely impressed by how well he read the crowd and how seriously he took his work. When I began preparations for my own wedding in 2018, I looked up the same company my sister used to request Kelvon but was told he had started his own company and no longer worked there. A quick internet search led me to Kelvon's company, "That's My DJ Entertainment" and I immediately reached out to Kelvon to see if he was personally available for my wedding date. He confirmed that he was, and after discussing several aspects of the event (venue size, preferred musical tastes, sound system, etc), he gave me his personal guarantee that the only things that could keep him from personally working my event were death or hospitalization. Kelvon kept in contact with us throughout the planning process and was very flexible in accommodating the many changes we made to our track requests. When the day arrived, Kelvon arrived and had his equipment set up before our guests even arrived and had both our requested music and his own inputs from reading the crowd to filll in the gaps we left. We expected the best from Kelvon and he went above and beyond to not only meet but exceed our expectations. There were no technical difficulties errors or nix-ups, only perfection. We would highly recommend Kelvon for any event as the service he delivered far exceeded the costs of his services. 10/10

Hands down the best DJ
Kelvon was amazing last night at our wedding! We’ve been working with him since January and from our first initial conversation, which was very detailed, we knew he would be great! We communicated by email pretty frequently and he was always positive and very professional. We met the week of the wedding to review the details of the day and he had our timeline mapped perfectly. I asked him a few hours before the wedding to make a very big musical change and he worked it perfectly as if that’s how it was always supposed to be. We was very accommodating with the music and read our guests great! Everyone said they had a great time and loved the experience! His personality is contagious and he’s a genuinely amazing person. Thank you Kelvon for everything last night. It was everything we wanted and more!

Very easy and a smooth process
Kelvon is truly dedicated to his profession as a DJ. He took time to meet with my wife and I, while we were preparing for our wedding. His ability to give us 24/7 access to his music selection portal. We were able to include all the songs that we like, especially the must plays for our special day. Kelvon not only kept the party going all night long with a variety of genres, but also provided a beautiful ceremony with all of our song choices. Kelvon is the best!! Our initial conversation was very detailed and an hour long. We met the week before our wedding for a couple of hours talking and laughing over details. He meshed very well with our personalities. The day of the wedding Kelvon showed up with bells attached ready to get the day started. He installed uplights for our backdrops and around the room. Nailed it and exceeded our expectations!
Working with Kelvon for our wedding was a great experience. My wife and I both have high expectations for service because we both work in the service industry, and Kelvon nailed it. We had a vision of what we wanted for the mood and feel for our ceremony, cocktail hour and wedding reception and like a professional artist, Kelvon took our vision and created a masterpiece. We wanted to ensure our guests were dancing all night, and sure enough the floor was always packed thanks to Kelvon. After the last song of the night, our guests were chanting for one more song! Everything you are looking for in a DJ
We hired Kelvon to DJ our wedding on Oct 20th and he was awesome! From the first time we talked to him on the phone we knew he was the DJ for us, in fact I believe we called him back that night or the next day and booked him! He is so upbeat and fun and also very organized and professional. My husband and I have pretty distinct tastes in music and Kelvon did an amazing job reading the dance floor and playing music that fit our tastes and kept the dance floor full. Kelvon is amazing! We could not have picked a better DJ for our wedding and recommend him to all our friends. Not only was he patient with us (guiding us through every song decision we needed to make), he is organized, timely, and flexible!
Kelvon adapted the music to each part of our wedding ceremony and reception seamlessly. Our friends and family could not stop raving about how great of a DJ we had found. One of my friends even told me she kept on meaning to sit down after dancing to a song, but then an another amazing song would come on and she just kept on dancing.

Kelvon MADE my son’s wedding! He did several phone conferences with us, a personal visit for planning at my son’s apartment AND a visit to the venue. All carefully timed before the event. He suggested uplighting, which made a big difference in the atmosphere. And he was the MC for the entire event, enthusiastically introducing everyone and letting each speaker know ahead of time that rheir turn was coming. OH, by the way- the music was perfect! He uses an online planning tool in which the couple gives him lists of songs, requests, must haves, etc. the dance floor was full the entire evening! I HIGHLY recommend Kelvon!!! Can’t wait for my other son to get married so we can use Kelvon again!

Kelvon was so awesome to work with!! He was always so friendly and professional, and very responsive to emails, texts and calls. The dance floor was packed the entire night, and our guests still talk about how much fun they had at our wedding. Kelvon even went out of his way to drive down from Chicago to our southern Illinois wedding a day early. He came to our rehearsal dinner and brought us a gift! I need Kelvon to DJ all my parties!
I feel very blessed to have booked the most perfect DJ I have experienced at any wedding or event I’ve ever been to. All the stress of planning a wedding and dealing with day of drama all lifted off me and my husband’s shoulders as soon as the dance floor opened. For a Sunday wedding we were beyond lit and stayed on the dance floor all night which was my main request from Kelvon and he did not disappoint us or our guests. Wonderful Experience
Kelvon was amazing from the beginning of planning, all the way up to the end of reception. He was easy to get a hold of, responding within a day or so of most emails. On the day of the wedding he was very organized and focused (despite the fact that we weren't) and made sure we stayed on schedule.
