Working with Okyne was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From our initial calls to the week-before calls to finalize all the details, the entire team was positive, professional, and incredibly responsive to every question and concern. They truly are pros in the industry and know how to create an amazing wedding atmosphere!

Our DJ for the evening, Gordon, was an absolute dream! He brought incredible energy and kept the party going all night long. He was so considerate of all of our must-play songs while also picking up on the vibe we were going for and reading the crowd perfectly.

If you're looking for a DJ group in the Chicagoland area, you truly cannot go wrong with booking Okyne. We had the best time and couldn't have asked for a better team to keep our celebration going all night!

We would highly recommend Okyne and DJ Drick. The music at our wedding was very important and we wanted to make sure that there was a good mix of different genres and vibes. Our first call with the company was great - the person we spoke with got a good idea of what we were looking for from a DJ and matched us up with DJ Drick based on that conversation. It was a great match. He was very helpful in us deciding what music we wanted play during the ceremony as well as during cocktail hour. The reception was fantastic and the music kept the dance floor going until the very end.

We are SO incredibly grateful for our experience with Gordon as our DJ and the amazing services from OKYNE as a whole!! Gordon perfectly captured our musical vibes. He played every song on our love list, incorporated guest requests seamlessly, hosted the most INCREDIBLE mosh for us, as well saved our ceremony music when we received it at 3 AM the day of the wedding - and the ceremony was perfect 😭 All of our guests said it was the best wedding they have EVER attended, and we know Gordon played a huge part in that. Especially for me, the panicking bride without ceremony music the day before the wedding, and Gordon absolutely nailed it 🙏 Gordan had so much kindness for us, and partying with him was like partying with our family 💕 we would be delighted to have Gordan again any time!

What is a Hybrid DJ? I asked the very same question. And boy were we glad we found out!! Imagine taking a fabulous DJ and adding a few instrumental pieces to enhance the party even more. That's what we did, and the dance floor was full the entire evening. Our super-awesome DJ, owner Al Okyne, along with his team of a drummer & saxophonist, helped make our son's wedding reception one everyone is still talking about. The saxophonist even played amongst the dancing guests, and everyone loved it. So do I recommend Okyne Entertainment Group...Absolutely!

Okyne, and specifically DJ Brad, was AMAZING!! The most common feedback we have been getting from guests at our wedding is how great the DJ was! The company was so wonderful to work with, everything was executed perfectly, and we could not be happier.

DJ Blake was amazing. His DJ skills were exactly what we were hoping for as he read the room and kept the partying going. His execution of the planned events was perfect. He even surprised us by singing a few songs! We could not be any happier with Blake and only have good things to say!

The overall services provided by Okyne were great! They had all the equipment we needed for our wedding. We would certainly reach out again if we were to need DJ services in the future!

From the very beginning, I felt so supported working with Okyne Medialab. Their portal made it easy to fully customize and map out our day, and the entire process was organized and professional. My DJ, Alan, completely understood the classy and polished vibe I was going for and catered the music perfectly to match.

Alan did a wonderful job as both DJ and emcee—he took suggestions in stride, made timely announcements, and kept everything flowing seamlessly. What impressed me most was his ability to read the room. Guests were shocked when I told them I hadn’t given him a strict playlist, because he kept the energy high, the dance floor packed, and the music exactly on point all night long.

We also added the cold sparks machine for our exit, and it was such a fun and memorable touch. Okyne Medialab provided microphones and speakers for the ceremony as well, and we had absolutely no hiccups with audio the entire day—everything was flawless.

On top of his talent, Alan looked polished and professional, which I truly appreciated. DJs can be hit or miss, but Alan was an absolute hit. I’m so grateful we had him, and I would highly recommend him to any couple looking for a DJ who is skilled, professional, and genuinely great at what he does.

Working in the event industry, I’ve seen and heard it all. So when it came to planning my own wedding, music was at the very top of my list. I knew I’d have some not-so-average requests for both the ceremony and reception.

Okyne Media Lab delivered. The trio—sax, drums, and DJ—was everything. The music was on point, the vibe was perfect, and the dance floor stayed packed all night. Honestly, couldn’t have asked for more.

DJ Brad was our DJ for our June 2025 wedding and we could not have had a better experience with Okyne Media Lab and DJ Brad. DJ Brad had our guests literally begging for more song at the end of the night! We were worried that the dance floor would be sparse because of our lower guest count (about 70 guests), but the dance floor was packed the entire night! I had several guests praise DJ Brad and the music choices/mixes.

We had a great experience all around with Okyne! DJ Gordon and our string performers for the ceremony/cocktail hour were all fantastic, and it was a smooth process working with everyone at Okyne from start to finish!
