Stop looking at other wedding bands...now. Just stop. Soul City is simply the best. Natalie and the team were perfect to work with and made us feel super prepared leading up to the big day. The music was absolutely outstanding and the dance floor was on fire. Instead of referring to the day as our wedding, most of our friends and family have been referring to the day as "the Soul City Concert." :) The band went out of their way to accommodate our special requests and went with the flow with last minute schedule changes. Highly recommend Soul City!!!

As a musician myself, I knew I wanted to have Soul City as my wedding band before I even met my husband! Natalie is so professional, responsive, and supportive in every way! Soul City does not miss a beat, from the planning stages to the night of. All details will be covered and you can truly relax and leave everything up to them. Our guests had an amazing time and can't stop talking about the music. Having the full horn section was amazing and truly a dream come true for a fellow trumpet player. If you're thinking about a band vs DJ, do yourself a favor and include band/live music in at least some part of your wedding day (and be sure to book Soul City EARLY) - you will not regret it!

If you want every guest at your wedding to get on that dance floor, Soul City is your band. They played songs across genres and eras, keeping the good vibes going for the entire night. Even my grandma, who has a strong aversion to dancing, got her groove on! So many compliments from our guests. We had some special requests of the band, including having our brother sing our first dance song, and adding in some special family dances. Natalie and the band were not just accommodating, but they were happy to do everything they could to make our celebration exactly what we wanted. We were so grateful to have our brother be able to play with them - thank you so much, for everything! A night to remember.

I cannot rave enough about Natalie and the entire Soul City family. Having a band was at the top of my wish list when I started wedding planning. However, through the rollercoaster months of 2020, we did not have an opportunity to preview bands due to COVID. While it may have seemed like a risk, I never doubted that Soul City would be anything but amazing. Natalie was patient and helpful as so many things remained unknown – especially when we had an unexpected venue change five months before our wedding. Getting to hear them in person a few weeks in advance really made us even more excited. I kept telling my guests, “just wait until you hear the band!” As we planned the final details, we easily were able to incorporate personal touches while utilizing the knowledge Soul City brings to the table. Every detail, from the flawless ceremony sound to the high-energy playlist, helped make our day perfect. They truly know how to get people dancing and our guests keep telling me weeks later how incredible the band was!

easy to work with leading up to the wedding (Natalie is a true professional!) and very customizable in terms of ceremony, cocktail hour, reception set up. They learned 3 new songs just for our wedding, and the band itself was EXCEPTIONAL!! right amount of crowd interaction, played exactly the type of set list we were looking for, and just so much fun to sing and dance along to. only "negative" is that some of our older guests felt they were a little loud, but I think that is more a function of the acoustics of our venue. and my friends and i didnt notice any issue at all! completely recommend working with these guys-- fabulous to work with and incredible performers!

Everyone needs to book this band. They were absolutely incredible. They had all my guests on the dance floor all night and they were by far the most talked about part of my wedding. I first heard soul city at my friends wedding, and when it was my turn to plan my wedding, I immediately reached out and booked them right away. Natalie and her team took every song request and learned new songs as well. I would recommend them over and over again.

Soul City band is the best! Natalie, the band manager, was incredibly accomodating in us booking the band and having to switch around dates due to Covid-19. Throughout every step of the way, she was understanding and responsive. It was a breath of fresh air during a very stressful time. I can't say enough about the integrity and professionalism of this band. Not only are they a talented group of individuals, but they are above and beyond with customer service and they made sure to provide the best experience possible for us.

If we could give Soul City 10 stars, we would! Natalie, Tucker, and the rest of the band were INCREDIBLE last week at our Scituate, MA wedding. Early on, we knew we wanted a band. After seeing Soul City at a No Kids Hungry charity event, we KNEW they were the band we wanted. Throughout the planning process, Natalie was incredibly professional and very easy to communicate with. She was very organized, accommodating and positive throughout! Planning during COVID-19 was not easy, but working with Natalie & Soul City made it that much better. We had music throughout the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. Our guests had the BEST things to say about Soul City, they felt like they were at a concert! Soul City has choreographed dance moves for their songs, the wind instruments brought the energy to the next level, and the lead singers were on FIRE!!!!! The whole band is incredibly talented and to know that our guests had the best time at our reception because of their music made my husband and I so happy! We couldn't wipe the smiles off of our faces all night long. We plan to recommend Soul City to everyone we know who is looking for a band!

Really difficult to put into words just how amazing Soul City is. When my husband and I were planning our wedding, the most important part to us was the band. Our priority was having amazing music and energy that kept people on the dance floor, with our music tastes being a mix of classic Motown as well as some more recent hits. Soul City delivered on all that and much more. They are extremely talented - not only is their music incredible, from the performances themselves to the set lists, to their coordinated dance moves, and their AMAZING brass section, but their chemistry together and the way they treat each other and the audience is really unparalleled. It is so clear in everything they do how much they genuinely love making music together and performing, and it translates into such an amazing atmosphere.

Working with Natalie was awesome - we always felt extremely taken care of, and everything was always so personalized. My husband and I had a few non-traditional details to work through with our wedding - a winter wedding, in Maine, in a barn, with a slightly non-standard flow of the event - which can make it especially difficult for a band to coordinate, especially such a large band. But Natalie was extremely flexible and supportive of our plans, we worked together to make everything work, and everything went off completely without a hitch. We felt like the success of our day in general was just as important to Natalie as it was to us, and even since the event we have still kept in touch on social media, which further proves how much Soul City genuinely cares about and connects with their couples.

As we continue to look back on our wedding, without exaggeration, Soul City truly made the entire night as amazing as it was. From the minute they started playing, the party started, and did not stop. We have heard nothing but amazing reviews from our guests, with everyone begging to know who Soul City is. If you are lucky enough to be able to book Soul City for your wedding, do not hesitate - I cannot stress enough how happy you will be with that decision!

What is the word that describes BEYOND extraordinary? Soul City is not a band, it is an experience. An incredible experience at that. We are forever grateful to be able to have the opportunity to work with Natalie, Tucker, and the entire Soul City family this past Saturday at our wedding at Saybrook Point Inn. To say that everyone was on their feet is not an exaggeration. The music was electric. The passion and energy was undeniable. The experience was priceless. This was one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning - investing in a band like no other. We can’t count how many of our guests asked who our band was and where they were from.
