We are so happy we had Lydea and the team from Sophisticated Events at our wedding. I had wanted to plan and carry out the whole wedding on my own, but everyone kept telling me I would want a day of coordinator. We picked this group and are SO HAPPY we did. She did much more than just "day of" coordinating in my opinion. She met with us well in advance to make sure she know what was going on and what else we needed. We had a large wedding party, including 6 small children, and somehow the wedding went perfectly. I have no idea how the wedding actually started on time, but Lydea was moving everyone around in the background the whole time, insisting that I just enjoy the day (and the whole week really). From the beginning, she pointed out areas that I hadn't even thought of, asked much more direct, detailed questions than I would have when we met with the venue, and made sure that all of the vendors prioritized what I wanted. I could go on about the other things she did that I thought were above and beyond what she signed up for, but I'll just say that I think she is the reason that I look back now and feel like our wedding was perfect and stress free, and I think she is worth much more than what she charges!

Lydea was AMAZING! She went above and beyond. She was at my beck and call, ready to work whenever I got in touch with her, got all of my information handled and she took care of business! Lydea helped made our wedding day perfect. Whenever I need another event coordinator or planner, Lydea will be the one I call. Thank you so much for making my day everything I wanted it to be and more. We are forever greatful!

“Above and beyond” is an understatement when it comes to Lydea and her team. From over a year out, she was in contact and always ready to help me with my questions, find and recommend local vendors (who were all also fantastic) within our budget, and work with them to make our wedding day go without a hitch. As we were planning from a small distance, her coordination with vendors and the venue was a massive lift off of our shoulders. The entire event was right on schedule, completely efficient, and we had a blast. I was completely relaxed the day of the wedding, because I had complete confidence that everything was in good hands. We can’t think Lydea enough for all the hard work and assistance she provided on our wedding day, and we cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for wedding planning and coordination services!

She did what I could not. I thought, I can do this and quickly realized, I am only one person and there is NO way I could pull this off and be a part of the wedding at the same time. Once I higher Lydea, she made it very clear that she had my back and that I could trust her to carry everything out. She did not disappoint. She gave my daughter, new son in-law and our families a beautiful wedding and took the burden off of my shoulders, so that I could enjoy the event with zero concerns. I just can't say enough.
