My husband and I agreed that quality pictures was our top wedding priority. We spent hours comparing photographers' galleries but we kept going back to Kristin. She was so professional and responded to all of our texts/emails so quickly. She pretty much set the bar on what we looked for in terms of our relationship with all vendors. We didn't know it was possible to meet someone so genuine, talented, and fun. At first, we were nervous meeting because she said she wanted to make sure she was the right photographer for us and us the right clients for her and we didn't understand what she meant. But that first meeting went by so fast as we got to know each other and afterwards, we completely understood how important it is to find vendors you bond with and share your visions. She was so easy to talk to, addressing our concerns with timeline, what was important to photograph on our wedding day, and was great at tailoring a package to make sure she captured all our special moments. She gave great advice on things to consider for photos, what to wear and what colors would photograph well in our engagement photos. My husband and I don't feel like the most photogenic people but Kristin was great at giving us direction and helping us feel less awkward. We did a Disneyland engagement shoot and she had awesome ideas for photos that came out amazing and captured really sweet photos of us. She was flexible with the requests we added as we neared our wedding. We had a mini-shoot with my dog and she got so many cute pictures despite his chihuahua anxiety. We asked her to make a guest sign-in book and she created that beautifully and quickly in a cute story from both engagement shoots. Everything we've asked her to do, she delivered with so much more. We recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer! We were sad thinking we weren't going to see her again but recalled she also does maternity/family photos so we're excited to see her again as our family grows! Thanks Kristin!!

I can not say enough. Kristin is MUST! Amazing! I'd get married all over again, but I am hoping this one sticks! I can't wait for the next exciting thing in our life, so we can work with her again!!!

Kristin and Dustin Smetona are an absolute joy to work with! They were so helpful with planning the timeline and prep work before the wedding and made the day fun and stress free! The pictures turned out beautiful. They are something you will have in your home the rest of your life and pass down to your children and grandchildren, we are so thankful ours turned out so well! We cannot say enough good things about them!!

I wish I could give Kristin and Dustin 10 stars! We had the absolute BEST experience working with them for our wedding. From the initial meeting with Kristin about our short timeline, how we would like to take our engagement photos asap (which ended up being at 6a that Saturday morning!), to creating our invites and everything leading up to the wedding, they were absolute professionals! Our families and entire wedding party commented on what a wonderful job they did, how they made it easy for everyone to be where they need to be when they needed to be there and how flexible they were with what we (the bride and groom) wanted on our wedding day. We got a preview of our wedding photos 2 days after the wedding - and the rest of the photos where a treasure!! Smetona photo is so fun, easy and wonderful to work with. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a photographer and hope to have plenty of occasions to call Kristin in the future!

She ran the show( In a good way)! I didn't have to worry about a thing. She was on top of everything and got every shot I wanted and more. A lot of things didn't go according to plan but she kept me calm and did what she needed to do to make sure plan B was perfect. We had a wild bridal party but she did an amazing job keeping everyone on track and getting done what we needed to. We did our engagement photos with her so she had time to get a feel for how we are so our wedding was absolutely amazing and she was able to capture our personalities and the love we have for each other. The quality of our photos was amazing! I love her style and can't wait to use her when our family starts to grow. When watching our video from our videographer it was like she wasn't even there( in a good way). (Some photographers get in the way of the guest and the experience trying to get that "Perfect Shot" she didn't have to do any of that to get our perfect shots) I would highly recommend her to anyone! Yes you can find cheaper photographers but when you are spending so much on a wedding in general do not skimp on photography. The day goes by so fast and honestly you aren't really going to remember a whole lot so Photography and Videography are the only things that can help you remember the best day ever. You're paying for her quality and expertise and my big day wouldn't have gone as smoothly as it did without her. She is totally worth every penny!

I had the great pleasure of meeting the Smetonas as a bridesmaid in a wedding that they photographed. They were so nice and my friends engagement and wedding photos were so beautiful! When it was my turn to look for a wedding photographer I immediately got Kristins info from my friend so I could hire her. We did our engagement photos a few months ago and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! It was more like hanging out with friendies vs having a photo shoot. She's incredibly talented at what she does and is warm, personable and professional. She got my engagement photos back to me within weeks and I love them so much.

Kristin, Dustin, Ally and all staff of Smetona Photo are wonderful to work with!!!!! When my (now) husband and I began to meet with wedding photographers Kristin was the most sincere and honest. She encouraged us to consider what we wanted to have our photos focus on and sure enough our hopes of having family/friends-centered photos and her standards lined up wonderfully. We hired Smetona photo to do our engagement photos and that was a fun experience to start our wedding season on a great foot. Kristin was concise and creative which helped me relax throughout the process. Kristin was even willing to meet with me at the venue before our big day to scope out wedding photo spots to save time (more so probably to ease me if anything else as the bride hahaha!) She sent us a questionnaire to fill out and that gave us the time to plan all the details we could for photos. On the day of the team was a wonderful addition to our wedding day. Kristin and Ally advocated to get the photos that my husband and I requested before adding in extra requests from guests which was a huge relief! She coordinated well with our venue and DJ and the team was wonderful throughout. We just got some spoiler photos from our day and our family and friends can't stop taking about them. Choosing Smetona Photo was a great decision for us and we highly recommend them!

Kristin and Dustin provide phenomenal service. They are excellent photographers, worked hard to communicate with us about the ins and outs of our wedding day, and did a fantastic job of working to give us the best possible pictures. We could not have asked for better photographers for our wedding.
