My name is Jazmin Uranga lead makeup/hair artist and wearer of many hats. When I am not playing with makeup and hairspray you will find me chasing around a busy toddler. I probably say "don't eat the dog food" more times than your average person but hey, that is the fun of it. I currently like to describe myself as a part time artist, full time mom. I am very blessed to not only do what I love but also having the time to spend with my daughter.
Growing up I suffered with terrible acne. The only way I would feel some confidence was by utilizing makeup to cover up what I could. At a young age I realized how makeup can make us feel beautiful and confident which lead me to wanting to pursue makeup artistry. I originally wanted to get into film/fashion but after doing a few photoshoots I decided it wasn't for me. I did take a little break from makeup until a friend asked me to do her wedding. It was then that I fell in love with weddings and well, the rest is history.

I can't recommend Jazmin enough! She was so much fun to work with and did such an incredible job on the hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party. I did the trial in her home a month before the wedding which was super helpful and she prepared a schedule for the day of. She came on the wedding day with two other girls and they were awesome! Not everyone had a very clear idea of what they wanted and Jazmin and her girls were very patient and offered guidance to help them decide. My mom and the mother of the groom were especially concerned about their makeup and they loved the way they looked! The air brush foundation she uses really evens out the skin and looked great on all of us. Our hair and makeup photographed beautifully and everyone was so impressed with the finished product. They even finished a little early leaving us with extra time for photos which I really appreciated.
Jazmin is professional, uses great products and is very reasonably priced. I am so happy I decided on getting professional hair and makeup for all of us! It made for a stress free and super fun wedding morning!

Jazmin and her assistant did makeup for myself (the bride), five bridesmaids, my mom, and the mother of the groom for my July 2017 wedding. She confirmed all details prior to my big day and was flexible with the day of timeline. On the wedding day, both her and her assistant arrived to our hotel early. They finished everyone's makeup on time (if not ahead of schedule) and everyone truly looked gorgeous in person and in our wedding photos!
Being a fellow makeup artist, I am very particular about my makeup. Jazmin was open to my comments and made me look beautiful for my bridal shower and my wedding day!!

From my very first communications with her, Jazmin was the consumate professional. She responds quickly to emails and phone calls, and she is very flexible, too! She came out to my house for my hair and makeup trial, and she made sure to stay until we had achieved the look that I truly desired for my big day. On the day of our wedding, she arrived early and did the hair and makeup for four of us - and we all looked gorgeous! She is punctual, calm, sweet, fun to chat to, and, most important of all, she is really good at what she does! I highly recommend Jazmin for all of your hair and makeup needs. I will certainly contact her in the future if I need my hair or makeup professionally done!
