I was beyond excited to work with this hairstylist and booked back in October. I originally asked for a quote, shopped around for a bit for a couple of weeks, then came back to her and asked her to create me a new quote. She told me my date was still available and sent me the new deposit in my portal with her. I paid the deposit and thought all was fine, and I received a receipt for the payment confirming I paid it. I messaged her 40 days out from my wedding asking her if she needed any details only to be told I “never paid the deposit” and that she “booked my date to someone else.” Despite sending her multiple times photo proof of the receipts I received from her portal system for paying the deposit and forwarding her the receipt I received back in October, she has now been ignoring my emails begging her for any explanation for what occurred and she won’t give me my deposit back nor even try to resolve this issue. Now I am stuck 40 days out from my wedding trying to find anyone to do my hair that isn’t extremely expensive, which is proving nearly impossible to find. Please do not book with this woman unless you want to risk a similar situation occurring and it being handled in such an unprofessional manner.
