We made the insane decision to get married in WA state while living on the east coast and booked our venue (Crystal Mountain Resort) without having ever seen it. Nancy was listed as a preferred vendor on their site. If you are getting married at CMR, DO NOT HESITATE BOOKING HER. Her wealth of experience at that venue was a huge source of comfort to me, and it showed. Your wedding day will always have something go wrong, but with Nancy at the helm, I never felt stressed or upset on our big day. I booked her for day-of coordination and it was the best decision I made for my wedding. She and her husband Dave are THE dream team. The entire day, they kept us on-schedule and our guests moving in the right place. She was gracious and patient the entire time. Weddings are her business. Our wedding went off without a hitch all thanks to Nancy. Nancy managed all the vendors and set up! I was able to just relax and get ready My biggest regret is not having Nancy plan my entire wedding! Hiring Nancy as our day-of coordinator was by far the best decision we made! After seeing her in action during the rehearsal, my stress melted away. My fiance noticing my stress levels with wedding planning, kindly showed me Nancy's website saying maybe I should see about having some day of help. :) I am so grateful he found Nancy!!! Nancy is extremely organized, professional, experienced, and a great communicator. We met in person and clicked easily! I am a planner and creative so had a lot of the leg work started, but wanted to be able to enjoy the wedding day so Nancy had different packages based on what we needed--which was day of coordination. Nancy was affordable and the value was amazing! Nancy made sure I had thought of every detail I wanted, she had her own organized binder with my wedding info, worked with our vendors, created a timeline, and so much more behind the scenes then I probably know! Nancy helped streamline our ceremony rehearsal as well which really made our officiant feel supported too. Nancy also came to a details meeting at the venue to know what I was wanting the day and decor, etc to look like. She was a great advocate too with working with vendors on what we wanted or might be interested in--Nancy knows weddings! Nancy made sure set up went smoothly and it was like a dream come true seeing our ceremony and reception rooms come to life, while I spent the morning relaxing and getting ready with friends and family--again worth every penny! Nancy kept the event seamless and on time, whisking us gracefully from cake cutting to first dance, etc. Before the ceremony, due to some traffic, Nancy checked with us to let us know that it was 4:30 but the room wasn't quite full. She asked if we wanted to wait 10 minutes and check in about starting. I really appreciated her being aware of that and that it was more important to us that people were there than starting on time. She made sure we got food too! Nancy also stayed for clean up. We so valued Nancy's expertise, friendliness, attention to detail, and calmness throughout. Best thing we did was hire her, after getting married of course! :)

I hired Nancy as a day-of coordinator for our wedding partly because we liked her and partly because she fit in our budget better than most day-of coordinators. She far exceeded the help that we expected.
Both times I met with her I only gave her literally one day's notice because I was planning from long distance and rarely in town, and she was able to change her plans to meet with me. She asked me tons of questions about logistics and her expertise and advice was undoubtedly what made the day go so smoothly. For all the help she gave me over email and meeting with me beforehand, I ought to have paid her for some planning as well as day-of services. She also ran the rehearsal and called each and every one of my vendors the week before. (I only know this because I was starting to call them and realized it wasn't necessary because people were telling me, "Oh I just spoke with your planner yesterday!")
On the day of, she just took care of directing everything. Occasionally she'd have a couple questions for me (probably because I just left a stack of boxes that had things that needed to be set up) but she just made it all happen. She made everything stick to the timeline and did all the stressing out for me, so all I had to do was worry about getting ready and having the most special, wonderful day possible.

We were incredibly lucky to have Nancy's help for our wedding, and I would recommend hiring her to absolutely anyone.

I live outside of Washington and knew that while my experience in corporate event planning would allow me to plan most of the details of my wedding, I wanted some help on the day of the wedding. I knew that Nancy was going to be the right day of planner for me from the beginning! She was extremely upfront, professional and helpful! She was very flexible and met with my fiance and I as well as several other vendors when we came to town and was very responsive throughout the process. She kept things right on track and provided us with exactly what we wanted on the big day, which was to not worry about a thing!!

Simply Celebrations is a great vendor to have at any event. The owner, Nancy was great! She made our special day everything we dreamed of. My husband and I are both full-time college students, so we were trying to do our wedding on a budget. Nancy worked with our budget and even helped us with some extra things. Choosing Nancy was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding, she helped us in so many ways and made it pretty stress free. The day of the wedding is what we were really worried about, we didn't want to be running around doing things when we were supposed to be getting ready. This is where Nancy came in, she took care of everything. As with all weddings, sometimes things happen like a cake getting a little damaged. Nancy took care of all of these with professionalism and stealth so we didn't even know it happened! I can't say enough great things about her, she's worth the money and you definitely won't regret having her help you with your event. She worked with our budget, our ideas and just made everything so much easier!
