This bakery is AMAZING! Her cake is delicious and her frosting is to die for! They were able to take our theme and work it into a BEAUTIFUL cake! I highly recommend this Bakery for all your needs!

Simply Cakelicious provided the wedding cake for our daughter. It was 3 flavors and delivered on time to a hotel in Washington DC. Since then, I've ordered several cakes, purchased many cupcakes, and highly recommended this bakery to friends. The cake is always moist and delicious. Terri and her staff are kind and courteous. She will go out of her way to give you the design and flavor you want. She will even make your Grandma's favorite flavor cake for you if you provide the recipe.

Not only are the cakes delicious but so affordable. They made my dream of having a ton of variety a reality without costing me a ton of money. I went to my tasting looking to do a small 1-tier wedding cake and a variety of cupcakes and left there putting a deposit down for a 3-tier wedding cake and 7 other cakes for my "cake buffet" : ) I was able to get every single flavored cake that I wanted...Pumpkin, banana, pineapple upside down cake, sweet potato, chocolate, lemon, yellow with strawberries and Bavarian cream. The cake buffet was the perfect touch to my rustic romantic wedding!

Simply Cakelicious provided the wedding cake for our daughter's wedding. It was delicious! We sampled several cupcakes ahead of time to choose the flavors. The bride and groom selected four flavors for the 4-layer cake. I had heard from other people (who used other vendors) that their wedding cakes were dry. That is not the case with Simply Cakelicious! The cake was very moist and flavorful, and we received numerous compliments from our wedding guests.

They did my wedding cake and cupcakes, I absolutely love their cupcakes, my gf has used them for birthdays, baby showers and her wedding as well, highly recommend

The team was great to work with, they were able to put together our design easily. They delivered and it was all delicious. The cupcakes were a hit and they were able to make a variety for us.

Terrible customer service!!
Ordered a cake for my father’s 70th Birthday. Specifically told the owner, we didn’t want fondant on our cake and she agreed to use buttercream icing. Called a week before to increase the cake size and the person on the phone agreed and reiterated that the icing would be buttercream. The cake had a huge bubble on the top of the cake, we were disappointed but we let that pass. Along with the cake not looking like we asked after we gave her a picture of the kind of cake we wanted and told her the colors were black and gold. She decided to make her design. Called the bakery two days after the event to complain about the icing only and the owner says we never specified the icing type and there was nothing she could do. Very rude and unprofessional. Will never purchase from this bakery and encourage others not to as well.

Very frustrated with this experience. Our order was lost and thank goodness we followed up. In the "last minute" (2 weeks out), we re-ordered our simple request: lemon cake, raspberry filling, cream-cheese frosting, no decoration of any kind. Flat white, very modern. They delivered a lemon cake with cream-cheese frosting, but no raspberry filling, and an old-fashioned, traditional piping around all three layers. Didn't see the piping until the cake was brought out, and didn't know the raspberry filling was missing until we cut the cake. When we returned the cake stand to the baker, we asked about a partial refund considering they had missed such a key element (the colorful filling!), they said, the filling wouldn't have been any extra so there was nothing to refund. Infuriating. Go for the cupcakes. Don't trust them with a show-stopper for an important event. Especially when you'll be photographed. Beyond pissed.
