Ryan was such a delight to work with! We were looking for a documentary-style photographer, and his style fit exactly what we wanted. The resulting photos were great, and are keepsakes we will cherish for years to come.

Ryan and the team at Silver Seas did an impeccable job with our wedding photos. We bundled engagement photography, wedding photography, and cinematography. Ryan scheduled a helpful phone call prior to our engagement photo shoot to get to know a bit more about each other and his process. It was insightful and gave us confidence that we had made an excellent decision as we were hoping for someone that could match our dark taste. When we met up to do the shoot, we clicked instantly and he truly understood the esthetic we wanted to achieve. The engagement photos came out perfect. Next was the wedding shoot. His team came to the house that we got ready at to get some shots of the process before the wedding itself. Everyone on his team was excellent to work with and had good communication. Preparing for an ordeal such as getting married comes with a lot of stresses, of course, but neither my wife nor myself felt that the Silver Seas team added to that. They got the job done and allowed us to have freedom on the big day. I did not feel like they were in the way or taking focus off of the memories we were creating. The actual wedding and reception was fantastic. They accomplished every type of photo we wanted and every group shot we had hoped for. It was a beautiful day that we are beyond grateful to have such wonderful photographs of as well as the film of the ceremony and several other pieces from the day. We chose to order a lovely leather bound book to commemorate the occasion. Of course, they did a fantastic job on that as well. We worked with Ryan and team for not one but two of our weddings - our covid wedding in California in 2021, and our big wedding in Texas in 2022. Ryan and his team are friendly, professional, and we were so impressed with how they were able to cover a 110 person with just two people doing both video and photo.

We liked them so much we decided it was both economically and creatively the right choice to fly them down from California for our Texas wedding.

Post-wedding, they have been pretty responsive in doing a few minor edits to our photo and video, but honestly, not too much had to change. We also made a mistake in forgetting them to mic one section of our wedding, and they were able to pull something together using the other footage they took.

From the moment we contacted Silver Seas, they were incredibly professional and took great care to understand our goals and help craft a photoshoot that would end up being more than we could have ever hoped for. Not only did Ryan scout our location in Big Sur ahead of time, lining up a selection of incredible vistas that exceeded our expectations, but they were incredibly flexible, adapting to last-minute changes that inevitably happen even with a small wedding.

The post-ceremony, sunset photo session was easily the highlight of our wedding day. Racing a setting sun through the landscape of Big Sur with Ryan and his team, capturing every last ray of light is a memory Toni & I will always cherish.

Words cannot begin to describe how amazing Silver Seas Cinema is. I looked at several other wedding photographers/videographers in the Bay area and am SO glad that I went with them. These guys have this magical ability to capture the love in a relationship and the uniqueness of a wedding and make it something you can relive every time you watch footage and flip through photos of your wedding. Each photo is framable; amazing quality, and just perfectly edited.

I truly loved my wedding day and feel like we took every advantage of the beautiful location and sunset thanks to Ryan and his team. Such nice people to work with! Ryan and his partner Gina were so easy to work with. Ryan is the main photographer for Silver Seas and his work is beautiful. Silver Seas offers photography and videography packages for a very affordable price, and Ryan threw in a free engagement shoot for free. Ryan is truly an artist loves playing with light and landscape. He is willing to go the extra mile to get that perfect picture. Our venue was near a redwood forest, and poor Gina had to run into the forest in the dead of night in order to shine background lighting for the perfect silhouette shot, but we were all laughing and enjoying ourselves.
