There are not enough words to describe how amazing Vee is! We met her at a wedding faire and she was so professional, and had stunning albums showcasing her work. She was so easy to contact and have video calls with. She really listened about what we liked, were comfortable with, and what we were wanting.
She really is a super star! She quickly and respectfully got large families and groups in place to get our images before the ceremony. This allowed us to have some private time taking photos during our cocktail hour, with time for us to enjoy our cocktail hour! During the ceremony she was very respectful and mindful of the guests. She captured the shots without being a distraction or blocking views from guests. Throughout the night she captured incredible shots! I’ve been to a number of weddings where the photographer has a camera in front of all the guests’ faces. This is not Vee. She is discreet on the side taking photos, so everyone is comfortable, and the photos came out to perfection! We received so many compliments! I would book with Vee all over again, without question! She is so talented and has such a great eye for photography!

Vee was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. She did a friend’s wedding pre-covid and was a natural choice for us. She was communicative pre-event and able to make it to our venue walkthrough, ready with questions. For our wedding, she arrived early and knew exactly what kinds of shots to get. We aren’t typically in front of a camera in everyday life, so she was amazing at directing us and making sure we looked our best. I am so grateful to Vee for the photos and videos that we will cherish for a lifetime. To have such a caring and calming person around during our big day was the cherry on top. (Seriously, my wedding dress zipper got stuck when the ceremony was about to begin and she helped my friends figure it out.) Do yourself a favor and hire Vee, I know I’ll be suggesting her to all my friends getting married in the future!

Vee was our photographer for our wedding of 100+ guests in Mill Valley and we cannot thank her enough for all her incredible work for both our engagement and our big day. All of our photos came out perfectly and beyond what we were hoping for and envisioning. Vee, thank you for capturing so many special and precious moments for our engagement and our wedding that feels super reflective of us! Vee’s photography style is colorful, vibrant, and full of life, which was a big reason why we wanted to work with her and we are so glad that we did. Vee is very easy to work with and she made us feel comfortable from the very first meeting through our wedding day. For the high caliber of work Vee does, Vee’s pricing is extremely reasonable. We have no idea how she managed to film and photograph us and our loved ones so dynamically as a one-person team, but she delivered way beyond our expectations. If you’re looking for a photographer in the Bay Area to capture your essence and special moments for special events or occasion, who is friendly and warm, and especially if you gravitate towards colorful, natural, fun photos, Vee is your person!!! If your wedding is around 100 and you have the means, we would recommend her package that has one additional team member since we now know just the overwhelming amount of work it takes for one person to shoot and also help folks get positioned and organized for posed shots.

For our engagement shoot, Vee trekked it all the way to the Diablo Foothills and braved muddy conditions to get amazing photos of us. While we tried to plan ahead with the trails, we didn’t realize how muddy it would be, but Vee was understanding and adjusted thoughtfully to find the best location for lighting and background. Her direction and guidance was super helpful and Vee just made us feel at ease to be ourselves despite us not being camera people. Our photos ranged from fun and loving to romantic and serious. We had no idea we could take photos like that! Our families were so excited when they received the photos and loved how the photos were reflective of who we are together.

On our wedding day, Vee arrived a bit earlier and kindly offered to start then. Vee took so many lovely photos of everyone for all the different events at multiple locations (hotel, ceremony at Old Mill Park Amphitheater, reception at Mill Valley Recreation Center): getting ready, first look, ceremony, family and friends, couple shots, and our reception which included detail shots of the setting / decor. We had forgotten to mention that we would have loved to get some photos of our decor and venue so we’re so grateful that she knew to get those. We were so impressed by all the different angles and shots she was able to get from the ceremony, which we hadn’t realized she even did–a testament to her ability to make us as comfortable and least self-conscious as possible. Vee shared an incredible amount of finished photos of our day, so we cannot even begin to imagine how many raw photos she took and then how much time it took to then edit and curate the ones that she selected to send us. Finally, we were so happy with the highlight reel she made–we thought it was so reflective of how the day felt for us: the joy, the laughter, the fun, and the overwhelming amount of love we felt from all of our families and friends. Vee, thank you so much for being our photographer and allowing us and our loved ones to shine in the photos on this very special day for us. We hope we get to work with you again in the future!

My husband and I are not super comfortable in front of a camera, but Vee made us feel at ease from the first shoot and gave us lots of instruction on where to look, how to position ourselves, etc. On the wedding day, I was SO grateful to have Vee as my photographer. She was positive, calming, and great with our families. She also took care to make sure my dress was fluffed and looked its best before every picture.

But, Vee is so comfortable to work with! She is great at communication and answers our questions promptly. Vee delivers her work as promised and the turnaround time is pretty quick!
