The hair and makeup team were absolutely amazing! There were four artists in total, and I had one dedicated solely to my hair and makeup. Chantelle is incredible—during my trial with her before the wedding, I had never felt more beautiful. She did an amazing job with my makeup and was fantastic at putting in the clip-in extensions I had brought. Kathryn and her entire team were wonderful—every single one of the girls looked absolutely beautiful! I can’t thank them enough.

Jessica, Chantelle, and Mollie were amazing all around and made me, my mom, bridesmaids, and mother-in-law feel and look amazingly beautiful.

Jessica and Chantelle did a great job on my hair and makeup — matching my vision perfectly. Their work was flawless and stayed perfect throughout the entire night (and even into the next day!) despite all the dancing and celebrating. Mollie did gorgeous hair for my bridesmaids and niece (who is 5 years old and doesn't like anyone touching her hair) - everyone was raving about their work all night long.

Beyond their amazing talent, the whole team was so professional and made the getting-ready portion of my morning relaxed and fun. They were definitely a highlight of my wedding day experience. Kathryn and her team did the hair and makeup of my bridesmaids, my mom and mother-in-law and truly did the most amazing job. I was truly in awe of how beautiful everything turned out! They were punctual, positive and had the best vibes for kidding off the festivities for my wedding day. When you work with them you are working with professionals in the business they were able to work with all different types of hair types (thick, thin, curly, straight) & face types (oily, dry, etc.) and made each on of my bridesmaids/moms look amazing. By far, booking my vendor for hair was the most difficult booking of my wedding planning. I had a very distinct vision in mind of loose, romantic waves with slick-backed front bangs. I browsed so, so many wedding hair Instagram profiles, and just wasn’t seeing what I was going for. I was referred to Bay Area Beautiful by my wedding photographer, and in browsing their profile, I found a photo of the exact hair look I was aspiring to! I saw in the caption that Chantelle was the hair stylist behind this particular look. I quickly booked Bay Area Beautiful and a trial with Chantelle. For my trial, Chantelle was flexible in my limited timing and gave me a relaxing reprieve during a jam-packed weekend of trials/tastings. Chantelle made me a true partner in the hair styling process, pausing often to get my input. The trial hair was an excellent start and Chantelle encouraged me to wear it for the full day and make notes of any changes I had. When it was time for the actual wedding day, Chantelle listened intently to the subtle changes I had in mind and executed those alterations seamlessly. She also styled the hair of my 8 bridesmaids, my mom, and a last minute add on for my now husband with ease! And everyone’s hair looked fantastic and stayed perfectly through the full night of dancing. Chantelle is a fantastic hair artist! Thank you so much Chantelle for making my wedding glam so perfect!

Bay Area Beautiful (owned by Kathryn) was recommended by my photographer over 2 years ago (prior to COVID when I booked my wedding). I booked with Kathryn (who is amazing, sweet, responsive, and more!) who coordinated my team for my wedding day. Olivia (WHO IS A DREAM TO WORK WITH!!) and the rest of the team was amazing on our wedding day.

I met with Olivia for 2 trials before my engagement photos and then one for my wedding (I wasn't sure how I wanted to style my hair so wanted to practice). I'm a typical "Type A" and was nervous about someone else doing my hair/ makeup.. that is until I met with Olivia. I shared some pictures of inspo with her and left the rest up to her. She is easy to talk to you, beyond sweet, hysterical, and so much more. I loved my makeup & Hair for my engagement photos & wedding - Olivia nailed it! After having to reschedule my wedding (which they were one of the first vendors I checked with to confirm my new date worked for them) they were extremely understanding and kind.

On my wedding day, the beauty team arrived on time, organized, and in such fun spirits! All my girls + my mom felt so beautiful and looked gorgeous! I can't say enough great things about Bay Area Beautiful & Olivia, and how confident I felt on my wedding day and that is thanks to the best team to get me done up!

Kathryn did hair & makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, moms, flower girls, and some additional family members for my wedding a week ago and everyone - myself included- felt so beautiful and had so much fun getting ready! This review is long overdue but I wanted to make sure I properly thanked Kathryn for her beautiful work on my wedding day! I hired Kathryn and JD from Status Salon to do hair and make-up on myself, 3 bridesmaids, junior bridesmaid and mother of the bride. They were so kind and helpful in making sure my exact vision was achieved and wanted to make sure every person was happy with their look. Too often, bridesmaids suffer for the sake of the bride, but Kathryn and JD made everyone feel beautiful! I live in Hawaii so they accommodated my travel schedule and worked out a trial date for everyone. Plus, they were always on time and professional. Kathryn did make-up for myself (the bride), all bridesmaids, and mother of the bride for my July 2015 wedding in Livermore. She met me at my house about a month prior to do a trial for my mom and me, and she was so great in helping us decide our “vision” for the day. We were both so happy with our look! On the day of my wedding, Kathryn and her partner JD worked tirelessly to make everyone’s look perfect. They were organized, calm, and efficient. Everyone was so happy with the way their make up turned out. I loved how my make up looked, and Kathryn knows exactly what to do to make you picture perfect! The morning of your wedding can be hectic, and Kathryn and JD made sure that everything ran smoothly. I would recommend Kathryn with the highest regards for wedding make-up!

Kathryn is amazing. I did a makeup/hair trial with someone else first and it was ok, but I just didn't love it, so I decided to spend the extra money and try again with Kathryn. She came over to my house, met my family, was incredibly friendly, and did a wonderful job with the hair and makeup. I didn't hesitate to ask her to do the hair/makeup for my wedding. I had 6 bridesmaids, so she brought an assistant with her as well to accommodate the large group. They were so much fun to have with us that day, they even helped us pick music to play while we were getting ready. They helped us stay on schedule, eventhough the bridesmaids started the process later than expected because they couldn't find shower caps. The makeup was absolutely beautiful and lasted the entire day. The hair was amazing, I got many compliments on it that day. I bought many hair accessories, thinking we could only use some of them, but Kathryn managed to fit them all beautifully in my hair. The bridesmaids loved their hair/makeup too. Many of the girls never wear makeup and were hesitant, but they loved it when it was done. She was incredibly easy to work with, did a wonderful job, and was so much fun to see that day. Her assistant was also incredible, the bridesmaids were thrilled with her work. She even helped us put the dress on correctly.
