User2243323 2+ years agoThe Sheraton Overland Park at the Convention Center was our top choice to reserve a room block for our out-of-town wedding guests since it is steps away from the Overland Park Convention Center where our wedding ceremony and reception were held. We were overjoyed when they offered us a guaranteed room block price for 10 rooms that was less than 50% of their regular room rate! Our guests snapped up all 10 rooms quickly!
Everyone that stayed at the hotel remarked about how wonderfully friendly and approachable the staff were, how clean and comfortable their rooms were, and how nice it was to be able to get back and forth to the wedding so easily.
We left guest bags full of treats at the hotel front desk to be handed out as our out-of-town guests checked in and everyone said they received their bags promptly when they checked in. We were thrilled to hear how happy the Sheraton's staff made our guests, making sure to meet every need that came their way.
I highly recommend working with the Sheraton Overland Park for any reason, but especially if you need to reserve a room block for a wedding or other event - they are the best!!

KC Pro Jocks worked 3 events at the Sheraton Overland Park during December 2010 and the staff was very accommodating, courteous and professional. When we work our events, we always acknowledge the serving staff by asking our audience to give them an applause for their service. We want to thank Bree Atkins and Kelly Kirby for always providing answers to our questions when we call in advance to discuss the room setup, loading times and any other special requests. The ballrooms are very clean, pleasant settings for any event.
Bree is wonderful for us to work with at the Sheraton Overland Park. She is very professional and easy for us to work with. We have done many events there and have enjoyed working with all the staff. They are very friendly and eager to help.
