Thank you and thanks to Dagl (spelling?) for making the wedding and reception such a beautiful moment for my daughter and her new husband!
Your help, attentiveness and detail focus were such a tremendous blessing!

This venue was an amazing find after our initial venue fell through. Thank goodness it did though, because Seminole Garden Center turned out perfect. This is a city owned venue, so there are some strict rules that must be followed, but it is also an incredible value. The center was renovated in 2010, so is currently in beautiful condition. The site comes with a beautiful set of chairs and has a set of rectangular and circle tables. Other neat features are electronically controlled window coverings (great for switching from eating atmosphere to dancing) and a projector screen. We had our ceremony in front of the building and the reception inside on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I highly recommend this venue.

The Garden Center is undeniably an absolutely beautiful venue. My wedding pictures are amazing. However, I wsnt too happy with the staff and professionalism. I had a signed contract for a certain time slot and the staff was trying to end my reception early because they had another event the next day. I have yet to receive my deposit back and its 2 months after...I do recommend that you see the venue with your own eyes (the website doesn't do it any justice) because as I mentioned its beautiful. Hopefully you have a better experience =o)

Great value for beautiful venue but has limitations
Pros: For the price you pay, it is a stunning venue. It is charming by itself and needs little decor. Has a great outdoor space where we had the ceremony and an alternative place to mingle for guests (I recommend setting up your bar on the outside patio, our guests loved it). I like that the indoor space is one big room and not all broken up.
Cons: You need to be cleaned up and out of the venue by 11, with music off by 10 due to noise restrictions. You have to hire Tampa PD if you are serving alcohol, which is an extra pain to arrange (even with the several hundred extra this costs, the venue is still cheaper than everywhere else we looked). AC was not strong and I was hot all night dancing inside.
Overall, the venue isn't ideal in a lot of ways but honestly for the price you pay for it it's hard to complain.

The setting for this venue was beautiful. It was just perfect with the beautiful gardens and old brick hall, with all hardwood floors and a fireplace inside with floor to ceiling windows. Up until the wedding day everything was perfect. BUT as soon as I showed up one thing after another went wrong. I was heartbroken!
1. They told me I had to be cleaned up and GONE by 11:00pm, even though I paid to have it until 11, and then would be able to have my team take down until midnight or so.
2. The ac was hardly on. I was running hot as it was from nerves and stress - but they refused to make it any colder!
3. The outside lighting was broken. Thankfully I had lighting people with strung lights all over the outside, but after sunset it quickly became too dark, pitch black, outside (which was where the bar was!).
4. There had to be an attendant there. The one they had was some teenager in pants sagging down, a hat on and was just dirty all around. This was a 30,000 wedding. I could care less if you showed up in flip flops but show some respect!
When I called the only contact I had (the parks and rec director - this was a city owned building) he brushed me off and told me it was "too bad."
It was a beautiful setting - but I would have NEVER had the most important day of my life there had I known I would be treated so terribly and gotten such terrible service.
