As a natural hair bride, I was nervous about finding a stylist for my big day. Through many searches on Instagram, my world collided with Reece and I'm so so so thankful. She took the time to get to know my hair, check out my inspiration, and make the best recommendations. I left my trial appointment knowing exactly how my hair would look and what our plan would be for the big day. I felt so confident. For the day of, Reece made sure me and my bridesmaids looked our best while also making us feel comfortable. When I wanted to put my hair up before the ceremony, she said let's do it and made it possible. She is the best at her craft and cares about women looking their best. Run, don't walk to hire her.

When I was thinking about how I wanted to wear my hair for my wedding, I knew that I wanted a style that highlighted my natural hair texture. For many women with kinky/curly hair it can be hard to find someone who specializes in natural hair and that can execute your vision. I had been following Daryce for a while on social media and when I found myself in need of a stylist for my wedding I decided to reach out to her for a bridal inquiry. From our consultation, I was put at ease by her super friendly and fun personality as well as her professionalism and how much experience she had with natural hair, particularly natural bridal hair. I made the right choice with SBR! I showed her my vision and we worked together as a team to bring it to life. I was so happy with every step of the process. From our "play date" to learn more about my hair, to our official bridal trial, and our wedding day prep, I had the absolute best experience. I felt safe, comfortable, and relaxed in her space and even her music playlists were a hit and set the vibe for our time together. She chose the perfect clip ins that matched my texture flawlessly. On the day of my wedding, Daryce arrived with all her supplies ready to get to work and she finished my hair with plenty of time to spare (She works her magic fast!) My hair came out AMAZING!!! *chef's kiss* It looked even better than I had imagined it would. Daryce went above and beyond and helped me with so much that day. You can tell that she is passionate about what she does by how she treats her clients. I will never forget the experience and how beautiful I felt!

Daryce exuded all these things and more as my hair stylist for my wedding. From the many consultations to the day of, I couldn’t imagine having anyone else style me for my wedding. The most important of these qualities is her love & knowledge of hair. Hair of all types, styling, science - she takes all those elements into account when crafted your wedding look. She also has the unique experience of knowing exactly how your wedding should flow and getting you ready on time and in full!
