My partner and I hired Savannah to photograph our micro-wedding/elopement in Big Sur and we LOVED working with her! We very highly recommend her, A++++++!

We originally reached out to Savannah because we wanted to find someone who was familiar with the sights around our Big Sur wedding location and who specialized in smaller wedding events. We wanted someone who would photograph our tiny, immediate family-only wedding, and also take us around the day of our wedding to take photos in a few other locations around Big Sur as a quasi-elopement kind of thing. Finally, we wanted to work with someone who was queer-friendly, inclusive and who was up for a more laid back vibe to the day.

Savannah was PHENOMENAL to work with. She was incredibly communicative during the run-up to the wedding, helped us plan the day's schedule, and had tons of ideas for where to go and take photos during our pre-wedding photoshoot time. Afterwards, she was clear about the timeline for preview photos and the full edited set, and her website where you get your final photos is easy to navigate and download from.

Savannah was also just a really kind person who we got a huge kick out of spending time with. On the day of the wedding, she made posing for photos FUN (coming from two people who aren't that comfortable in front of the camera!) and was a blast to hang out with. She totally understood the light, fun and outdoorsy but intimate family vibe we were going for. She's a total charmer who really took the time to get to know what we were are aiming for and helped us get there.

And of course, her photography is BEAUTIFUL! We ended up with couple portraits from three locations around Big Sur (forest, cliffside and streamside) as well as photos from the ceremony, family portraits at the venue and candids during cocktail hour and dinner. She really captured the vibe on the day (and made us all look really good!). Our families can't stop raving about how much they love the photos!

Finally, it's also worth mentioning that Savannah was easy to communicate with regarding our COVID safety protocols.

Savannah photographed our Big Sur elopement and we could not recommend her more! She was extremely professional and guided us through the entire elopement process, including location scouting and even helped with my bouquet arrangement. Before even meeting her in person we felt like we had known her for years. On our elopement day she gave us great direction and made being in front of a camera feel very natural. The quality of the photos exceeded our already high expectations. If we ever plan on getting professional photos in the future, we will 100% utilize Savannah's services again.

Savannah... We don't even know where to start! First off, this lady takes the most beautiful natural light pictures ever! She is so sweet and easy to work with, we felt comfortable with her right away. She was very organized for both the occasions we used her, once for engagement pictures and then again for our wedding day. She always arrived on time and communicated seamlessly with us. You won't regret booking Savannah, she captures the memories of your big day seamlessly and beautifully!

Savannah is so good at what she does. I hired her to photograph our small wedding ceremony in Mexico (yes she travels!!) and she also photographed our larger wedding reception back at our family home in Scotts Valley. Savannah is so sweet and made my husband and I, and our guests!!, feel so comfortable. She is so accommodating and will gladly take the time to take a million family photos as painlessly as possible (and believe me, sometimes this can take forever), she got through them like a champ and we barely even knew what hit us. We got our photos back after about 4-6 weeks and WE ARE SO IN LOVE WITH OUR PHOTOS. They were better than we ever could have imagined and we could not be happier.
I plan to continue to hire Savannah for future special events we want documented.
